Wow! Never mind the magic roundabout, that was a bit of magic card making!! What a clever trick that masking is, I never thought it would have come out as it did. Well done & thanks for the inspiration once again Sam.😊
Hi Sam, absolutely great card. Love it. All these childhood memories that keep launching. My order came today, its fantastic. .Learned something else with the masking technique. Thank you as always. x
Thanks Sam xx Love the magic roundabout. I was watching the replay of the launch and was shouting out the names of the characters when you couldn't remember lol xx
This is one of my favourite cards ever, I ❤love it. Need to try & create this for myself. Thanks for sharing your masking technique Sam, your amazing 😘❤️
That ended up as a proper lovely little work of art. Love this technique...which i learnt from you Sam, quite a while back now. This card was so cute. ❤ x
I’ve seen this before an always thought about trying it. You have prompted me to do it soon. Fabby card and now those stamps are on my ever increasing wish list. Xx
Arhhh I watched the magic round about when I was a kid ❤❤, and it was rereleased when my twin girls were tiny , they are 20 the end of June , they used to sing the “pilot” song “” woh woh woh it’s magic” they got up on stage and sang it on their christening party at age 2 😂 fabulous tune ,thanks Sam took me back this ❤
I prime my new stamps by putting the sticky versamark embossing pad on them before applying the ink pad. Great cards and thanks for the link to the masking sheets as I’ve always bought the Gina K ones and yours are a better price 😘👍🏼
We did not get those characters here when I was growing up, but they look so adorable. I have always loved the masking technique, but I still never had the opportunity to use it. I just purchased a Scan n Cut for my birthday. Would the scan n cut cut out small pieces of stamped masking tape? Omg if so that would be wonderful. I am not very good at fussy cutting. Your card is gorgeous Sam! Love your colouring. Thank you for sharing ❤
Oh my gosh, I've just been whisked back to my childhood, The Magic Roundabout was my favourite programme!!! A fabulous set and a great card! Thanks for digging thr memory out for me Sam, made my day x ❤
Being in the US, I don’t know the Magic Roundabout, worst luck. But I had forgotten about the cows, as they do, ya know…with…the dancing - thanks for the reminder, there! Brings me back to my great aunt Lois’s dairy farm in South Dakota. Well, and great uncle Louis, mustn’t leave him out. I was a worrier as a child. And I was always concerned that, if they got too rambunctious on the way TO the barn, well ya know…kinda hate to just come out and say it….with all that milk still on board…they might just…bust an udder! But not a one ever did. Had to be on your toes, tho, and watch out for the buckets. Oh.. the line dancing was hell on the buckets! The barn cats enjoyed every spilt drop, of course. Great uncle Louis was quite adept at knowing when the finale was coming and which direction things were gonna go. Helluva catch, he was. Great aunt Lois said it…every morning. She did. I swear. It’s all true! Hope it’s not too long, Sam. I know you’re busy, but I was inspired! Love your tutorials and designs and your sense of humor. (I can’t bring myself to put that extra British “u” in that word, sorry!) Thought a good laugh might be a thank you, of sorts. Hope it’s a good one, the laugh I mean! And your day!
Thank you so much for reviewing the masking technique. I have so much trouble remembering which gets stamped first, which to mask, and do I color the background first or after. Thanks for the help in this department. Love the card.
Wow, Sam, I had forgotten all about this masking technique, which is a shame of course. The BIG reveal when taking off the masks is like watching embossing power melt LOL! QUESTION: I struggle with picking colors out...I was wondering, is it better to limit the number of colors on a card/project say to 3 or 4? Trust me, I get frustrated when I have to spend at least an hour picking the colors in the 1st place. Thanks Sam for sharing!
This is such a great card. I love all of your masking & coloring techniques you did on this. Being in the US I don’t know who these characters are, but they are sure cute! Thanks Sam, have a great day.
I love this card. Thanks so much for going through the masking process. I can never remember whether you do the background first or the foreground. I won't forget now! Your colouring is fabulous also. I love to colour. Mine doesn't look as good as yours though. Can you go through this process too at some stage? Thanks again Sam. Love all that you do. :)
Hi, I love this card, your coloring is always awesome, my question is what does DL mean..plus what is a A4 size card? I looked it up and it was confusing.. USA , most really stick with 41/4 by 51/2 card which doesn’t sell well. I sell a lot of 5 x 7.. so I was thinking A4 would sell. Thank you!
Hi Sam, Thank you for sharing a lovely super sweet super cute card 👍❤️ Sam,Please can you tell me have you made a video on how to make a box for a DL CARD THANKS ❤️
