Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. Centered vertically true to a plumb line with the crosshairs which is always a plus! It's a great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!
What Ozzie didn't show was the "Picture in Picture" view. So you have a small section of the screen that you can zoom up while keeping the big screen not zoomed (zoomed out). Gives you a better field of view yet it is still zoomed in on the target. If you shoot pests such as foxes and rabbits then a thermal scope is a game changer. If you only shoot during the day then stick with glass. Plus a thermal spotter should be your first purchase then a thermal scope, both if you can afford it. They make a great Christmas present for the wife and/or kids.
Great review Ozzy, that 640 resolution is amazing. One reason I purchased the Thermion XQ50 is the higher base magnification of 3.5x. Shame its not 640 resolution but it still ID's ferals well with the 384 sensor and higher mag. I've been really happy with the Thermion form factor and mounting with Warne Maxima Quick Detach Rings it's holding zero across multiple rifles utilising the electronic profiles. I'm looking forward to getting my review out on the XQ50 in a few weeks. Kudus for securing an amazing discount for your viewers too. Keep up the stellar work 👌
ozziereviews it’s an American UA-cam channel he has two of them one is DEMOLITION RANCH and his other one which is the theme song from his second channel is “OFF THE RANCH” his name is Matt karriker think he has another channel called “VET RANCH”
Looks good. And it’s only 7x the price of my gun.. I love how I have 1080p IR camera in my house that does better quality than this but when it comes to scopes they charge the most ridiculous premium. The cost of hardware in this plus manufacturing and transport is probably like $150 per unit and they only want $7900. Could buy a solid car for the price of this thing, so ridiculous 😂
I heard you had been sent this and have checked in a few times to see if you had reviewed it yet. Gotta tell ya, not disappointed today! Stay independent, good review! On ya Ozzie.
Ver nice Review Ozzie. Within the first few minutes of it, I thought I would definitely buy one; but when you mentioned the price, The price is way too steep for most guys I know. Not sure what's their target market for this price, despite that discount.
Very informative and easy to understand but It's a shame you didn't put the footage of you actually zeroing it in and what target you used to do so. Other than that great video.
G'day mate Thanks for reviewing this I been looking at this scope for a while Like everyone else the price tag is a killer or we woukd all have em. My only concern would be when its charging.. Like most things they get hot and overtime this may damage the internal workings or the heat may effect the turrets or controls. Top reviews as always all the best to you and yours from me and mine bruva
👍. Looks like a nice thermal scope to use. Perhaps it’s due to watching this on utube, but for the price I would want & expect better clarity at & above 4x. Especially at 8 - 16 power. How’s the LA 102’s going in the .223 , .308 & the accupoint scope going? Do u still use them? How are they holding up? Ect.
Sorry mate forgot to ask, with the ruger precision rifles for say… what are the advantages you’ve found with them over traditional rifles? and do those stocks reduce recoil or make them more accurate or something mate? Thnaks
Generally speaking, the closer the temperature of the ground is to the body temperature of what you’re looking for, the less contrast you’re going to see. Haven’t used this scope in particular, but that’s just how thermal imaging works. Also can’t see through glass with it, basically just looks like a mirror (just a random quirk of thermal optics).
Owned the trail for a few yrs own 2 of these and yeah.. they are worth the coin. Blokes spend 2k on day scopes... well... save a few extra k and get one of these.. you will NOT be dissapointed
Love your channel, keep up the good work & honest reviews. Don’t like how your pinched Demo Ranch intro, keep true to yourself. I’ve bought many products based on your reviews 👍
Yes bolt and pump, lever centrefires.no semi autos unless primary producer or law enforcement. There are more firearms now than pre port arthur, wirh the average owner owning 3 firearms. So yes we still own firearms.

Great scope, great review.
However, in my household that scope would be named "DIVORCE" 😉😂😂
Cheer Oz & thanks
I had a wife like that once. She made me get rid of my guns. Then I got rid of her. Reverse the order, keep your guns.
In mine, that scope would be named “ MURDER”...
Theme song from “OFF THE RANCH” love it mate love the review 👍
LUL I immediately thought I had somehow skipped like 15 videos in my queue and gotten to the latest OTR video when this one kicked off
What is off the ranch? This song is a free song from UA-cam
@@ozziereviews haha, if you know Demolition Ranch, it's his non-gun channel.

Best review I’ve seen of this scope and a bloody awesome discount. Thanks Ozzie

Great review and top job on getting the discount for the viewers mate cheers Yogi 🤙🤙
Didn't think Queensland was capable of fog :-) We are definitely used to it down here in Gippsland.
Great scope. If only I could afford one
Thanks for the review! When I have a car worth more than the scope, I might think about the scope :)
At that price I will be sticking to my Pard 007, great review though Ozzie.

Nice work Ozzie. Definitely on the wish list.
For your focus to make it easier, I’ve got a fishing rod breakaway coaster. Makes it easier to turn and they’re cheap too 👍
Very much like the comprehensive review, well done.
Great scope , I would love one of those for Fox shooting , but id have to win Tatts first !!!
Thanks mate.
I don't have enough cars to sell to fund that bit of kit, but sure sounds good. Great Vid.
Beaut review ozzie, cheers. Hoping for a review on the new CZ 515 lever release rifles soon!
Very informative and easy to understand but
It's a shame you didn't put the footage of you actually zeroing it in and what target you used to do so. Other than that great video.
That is awesome and cost more than all my firearms put together.
You’re poor. Gross.
GREAT WORK MATE!
WELL DONE. LOOKS LIKE ILL BE GETTING ONE SOON.

My concern would be it would shit itself the day after it came out of warranty
@@hardy9429 you know that's definitely going to happen mate.
2 weeks after warranty... Guaranteed
What rifle is that? looks like a nice little kit.
Great review as always!
Looks awesome but I just can’t see where the money goes. Obviously a large percentage of unobtainium in the materials.
Nice review - thanks mate!

Trust me ozzie.. low power is better... more field of view once shit runs u want that 2x
Trying to decide what I can sell to come up with $4999.00 US!
What caliber rifle were you using for that review Ozzie ?

znice review, thanks mate.
16x power at 1500m ... hmmm
Hi Ozzie....does it work at the 300 or 400 yards at night ? i see lots of close up stuff but nothing mid range on this unit ?
I like it! 👍
the internal battery scares me
$5999 U.S. so $7600 at $1300 off is extreme rip off.
How’s does this scope preform in higher temperature days? Like 35 plus?

Thinking about the pard NV008 even though the thermal would be better in alot of circumstances like longer grass ect
I would cough up for the cheaper xp30 and dimensions would suit my browning blr better, but is it any good compared to xp50?
Is it spring gun rated?
WOuld the M107A1 50 cal BMG be too much for that PUSAR?
Dear Santa.........

Did you have any trouble with it holding zero? Read a review of a guy who had trouble.
50mm 384 core has a 4x base mag
9 thousand aussie dollars 😱😱😱 could buy a dam lighting tower with that and just flood the field
$1300 discount , there probably still making 4K on it.
Great review, unfortunately a little out of my price range,
Hi would you please do a CZ 515 tac review?
Could you compare this to a thor 4?
Can u buy just the battery for it
I’ll wait until the patent come to maturity.
Underwater - it is important if you hiding in the water for few hr

How many people in Australia actually own rifles? Just a few people who do pest control? And a few Ranchers?
Over 1 million do

What's better, Thermion XP50 or the ATN Thor 4?🤔
Xp50 by a long shot sir….
