    I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well.With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings.For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance.For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.

      Hi Mike, I’d recommend visiting your local shop and seeing your options, bears being large means most will do the job so best decide on a budget, lucky for me we don’t have them over here!

    Thank you very much for your insightful information. I've been debating on what thermal monocular to buy for months. I now understand them much more now. I am setting a budget & then comparing what's in that bracket using your advice.

      @@MrBHuntingDownUnder What do you think of a thermal monocular & a night vision rifle scope, say a Sightron Wraith HD for about 1.1K it seems much cheaper than having a thermal monocular & rifle scope. From what I can see unless you are using a 6-7K thermal scope the night vision image is much clearer as far as target identification goes. This setup seems to be what most fox shooters use in the UK. What are your thoughts?

    • @MrBHuntingDownUnder
      @MrBHuntingDownUnder  3 роки тому +2

      @@philipmayers5785 Hi Philip, night vision scope and thermal spotter is definitely a combo I see a lot of. A lot of people can’t afford to drop the money on both and yes they can do a great final ID, I see a lot of torches being upgraded for greater viewing distance. Only downside I have seen, was flare up from grass and from the muzzle flash, goes white for a second after your shot. I can’t comment on the wraith as I have only used pulsar night vision stuff but it’s definitely a path worth exploring.

    Great information! Only thing that would've made it better would be to display text when talking about statistics. Being totally new to this subject, I didn't know most of the acronyms you mentioned. Nevertheless, great primer, particularly helpful to see the effects the statistical differences make to the real world picture. Thanks!

    The only thing it left me curious about was in the footage of the units being used I would like to know the approximate distances shown in each clip and ambient temperature. I know it's all relative but I just want to have realistic expectations.

    Mr B, I am looking on getting either a Pulsar Axion 2 XG LRF or a Pulsar Helion 2 pro? $2000 difference between the two. Is the Helion a extra $2000 worth it? Have you used the new Pulsar Axion 2 XG yet?

      @MrBHuntingDownUnder  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Werner, I am currently waiting for the Axion 2 LRF to come into stock so I haven't laid eyes on it yet, but the Helion will be better picture, but it also doesn't have a range finder, so you probably need to decide if you want a range finder, if so, then Axion, if not then how nice a picture do you want, and how much are you willing to spend? Both will do the job so this will be personal preference and a budget decision. Both are 2.5x base mag, axion is more compact if that matters to you.

    Man, you should have a tad of regard to your not-mothertongue followers. We can take the accent - somehow - but your rate of words per second is pretty high. Never mind subtitles, they're speeding away as you strafe with no mercy. No offence, but I'd say that you might collect more followers if only you could slow down a bit.

      Thanks for the feedback, I provided subtitles and you can slow me down in playback options if you like, it’s hard to get out a lot of information in a short period without making a 30 minute video, but I’ll consider making shorter slower videos in the future
