Yes I've had my welder for sometime, it feels good to finally start to use it on the project I bought it for. You should get some scraps of metal & experiment a bit as it's not as bad as you think, Best of luck with it if you do! :)

Yes. the distance you keep your nozzle from the puddle is important stay close

@@SixthGearMotorcycles You'll be fine mate. Have you got some scrap metal to practice on? If not, cut the piece you have welded into smaller sections and practice on that. Its better to fail on a scrap piece than on the actual job haha

Dad was a self taught Mechanical Engineer (V8 Pilot) ended up making Formula Fords, he taught himself Mig too, I was appalling at it.
