Your neighbors are gonna love you! If that is not the "Sound of Freedom", then I don't know what is! 😄
yeah they already love me haha!! true enough though, now it sounds like a proper cruiser and I'm really looking forward to getting some more mods done to it. Thank you for the comment and for your continued support!!
Love that satin finish, sweet bike! The new pipes sound awesome and that lift is gonna make life alot easier.
Yeah really loving the sound it makes now and you are right, the lift helps immensely! really tired of laying on the floor working on bikes. at least now I can sit or stand and at my age I really need that.
I want one now after watching this video! Sounds sweet.!!
Great install ,Great Vid ,and Monster Great sound !!!!!!!!!!!
Nice bike and pipe combo. The smile on your face says it all. I test rode a super chief when Indian came to Austin with their demo truck. I really enjoyed it and the off the show floor upgrades like brembo, TFT display, Fox rear suspension are nice compared with its competition HD Lowrider S / ST. Enjoy the ride!
Great sounding pipes ... If it was my bike, I'd definitely leave the front fairing on ... 😎
Looking forward to seeing this progress! I too prefer the more premium additions of the sport chief, but do want something more set up for touring!
Nice video. Any new info now that u have been running them. Sound accelerating . Performance compared to before and then after the exhaust install.
As freedom advertises 15-20 percent increase in horsepower and torque ......assuming u got the air intake and the tune. that goes with it. How did that affect performance. Ect......?
Huuuuge difference is sound.. I dig it 😎
Seemed not too bad to fit.. cheers for sharing... also look forwrd to more Pursuit content.. cheers
thank you so much, I rode it a bit today while the wife was at work and it is indeed pretty loud but its got a great tone to it that I'm not sure gets picked up in the video. overall, IMO, it sounds amazing! More pursuit content coming soon...getting it ready for the trip to Sturgis in a couple weeks! Thank you for stopping by and for your comment!!
@@StormtrooperRides enjoy Sturgis... I'm picking up a Pursuit in a few weeks.. first Indian for me after 14 Harleys haha
awesome color
thank you, I personally didn't like it when I first saw it in the showroom but my wife loves it. I have to say, after working closely with the bike now its really grown on me and in the right sunlight it looks amazing. appreciate the feedback! Take care!
15.1 ft lbs. is the exhaust flange torque
Hey man. New subscriber here. Question. Did you took it in for tune up? Did it gave you any issues? I did a stage 1 air fikter on mine and they tuned up for it, but im about to install the same exhaust as yours on the same bike and wasnt sure if tunning is an issue. Some people tells me yes on other bikes, but nothing on this bike yet. What was your experience post install.
Sounds bad ass!
how much louder is this than the stock pipes? i live in an apartment complex and that is my main concern. i know ill only be there for a minute or less but still dont want to receive complaints.
Did you need to tune this
Great video. Will use this before I put mine on. Thank you. Subscribed
I hope it’s not “too loud” I’m all for large sound but during all day rides it gets old. (I have tbr exhaust currently)
Great video, did the bike run bad after? (assuming air cleaner and tune wasn't done)
ran great afterwards! That said, the bike is getting the high-flow air filter and flash in the next couple weeks. someday in the future I'll spring for the Stage 2 as well but really want to wait until they figure out these bosche ECU's so I can get a proper tune done to it. Other than that I'm not too worried, runs great...maybe a little better even (could just be because I can hear the motor now). Thank you for watching and appreciate the question!
I have a scout sixty now and am looking to upgrade to a sport chief and convert it into a super chief for the same reasons you are. Very curious to see what you do going forward.
Have you had any issues with the 2n1? I got a 2023 sport chief and put intake / 2n1 / Lloyds tune. I consistently have o2 sensor codes and when running 85+ for any significant length of time it gets misfires and goes into limp mode.....Any ideas? (changed sensors/ checked for intake and exhaust leaks/ checked cabling)
If the stock loudness was 5/10, what would you rate the loudness on these?
Not only will your neighbors Hate You, after a long ride, you'll be shell shocked from the racket !!!!
Do you require tuning after installing the exhaust? Would you consider a quite Muffler to reduce the sound a bit?
Did you get a check engine light on yours after installing that ?
Hey, Did you end up needing to tune with the exhaust, or has it been fine?
Nice bike
Hi, great video thank you just a quick question about the O2 sensors did you have to remove them completely from the bike to change the exhaust or could you have just disengaged from the old exhaust and then reconnect to the new one? Thanks in advance Ricky
Keren2👍👍👍
Would you be able to provide a link to the specific Freedom Performance Model that you purchased? I purchased the 2023 Sport Chief for myself last week and want to upgrade the exhaust to the Freedom 2:1 myself.
I second that. I’d really like this setup for mine..I’m thinking you’d probably need to upgrade the air intake as well.. thoughts?
@@njsdrum21 I have purchased the OTB Prototypes Voodoo Air Intake for my setup
@@RagnarLothbike do you have a link for that model? I heard the freedom exhaust is backordered for months..
@@njsdrum21 as for the exhaust, go check biohazard cycles. They appear to have some in stock. I will be posting videos of installs for my bike once I get to my new house and get settled. I'll pop a link here when I do.
Did you find the ring seals? Or did you buy some new ones? Did it have an odd smell after installation?
how long does the install take roughly?
Increases HP and torque right?
Where did you buy it? How long did It take for the exhaust to be delivered after you ordered it?
How's the heat? Say on a summer day, stopped at a light? Reason I ask, have a Fab21 setup and my right leg is roasted when stopped...looking for a better alternative.
It was pretty hot outside the day we put them on. When I looked up Fab21 it didn't look like they included heat shields which will make a big difference IMO. I could be wrong though...but from what I saw on the website looked like nothing over the headers. I dont think the heat is overly bad on these Freedoms...they of course get warm especially on the rear cylinder but all v-twins get warm on the exhaust side. These Freedom pipes do not or at least have not yet burnt anyone's legs even at a stoplight for extended time. Yes they get warm however and I imagine if you sit stopped and idling on a hot day on any v-twin, especially if its air cooled, its gonna cause some heat. Even my water cooled Pursuit gets warm at idle for extended periods. hope that helps!
When I put those on my Chief I couldn’t stand the obnoxious sound bought the ridiculously expensive baffle $299 (some nerve) it made a LITTLE difference not much. If your plan is to convert this to a Super Chief touring bike you will be sick of those plenty soon. Dean Speed rampage pipes would have been a better choice and half the price with a Tab Performance sound
Sounds like some slipons would serve you best. You’re not the target audience for this type of exhaust. The OP has a sport chief and is looking to unlock as much power and sound as he can
