Underrated comment ❤
This is, excuse me, a damn fine ambient track
Yes it is.
The waiting room/black lodge really is the final level of the backrooms
I've had red curtains as my desktop background since the 90s... apart from that time I had blue velvet curtains for a bit.
this and a blunt
looks comfy, I could sit there for 20 years

How did you source this? Amazing. It's mixed so very quietly in the show so it's wild to hear how much is actually going on in the track. The music/audio for the Lodge here, It's an interesting and more 'neutral' tone for Season 3, vs. the disorienting and malevolent music vibe at the end of Season 2.
Thanks! The 5.1 mix from The Return with parts patched over carefully (foley removal mostly) to make a section of a few minutes long. This section was then looped and crossfaded so that it could be seamlessly extended. Downmixed to stereo for UA-cam. Dean Hurley really did an incredible job on the sound design!
@@TwinPeaksSoundsbravo! Viewing/listening to this on my home theater surround system and it’s utterly exquisite.
It sounds *a lot* like some of Brian Eno's Prophecy Theme from Dune.
Perfect place for girl's night

Where did you find these? How did you get it and upload it? Thanks!
Hi, the Blu Ray has 5.1 surround audio tracks for episodes. With some careful editing and removal of certain parts, I removed dialogue and sound effects. This left me with a couple of minutes of audio, which I then looped and crossfaded to create a seamless loop that I could extend infinitely. Visuals are also clips from the episode played forwards and reversed to create looping like this: >
🤩
This is what a bad trip feels like
Reading and writing reports at work flow easier with this ambiance in the background...
0:00 - 0:05 What is the name of the sound at the beginning of the video?
It's an electric guitar chord played with plenty of use of the tremolo arm (or a whammy bar) and lots of reverb. Sounds like a jazzmaster-style tremolo to me but that's just speculation.

Still… I like white lodge rumble on continuous loop more.
I wonder how angry the demons would get if I deliberately sat in one of their seats, instead of the one clearly intended for me. Also, if I had to spend eternity there, I would try to climb the curtains at least once, try to see how high they go. I'm guessing there's no ceiling and they are infinitely high.
I don't think you get to choose. You just "wake up" already seated.
@@dissuede6949 you can stand up, walk around, change seats, walk between rooms... did you watch the show?
@@MentalParadox Did you ever see Coop actually sit down?
@@dissuede6949 did you ever see Coop take a shit? Wash his coffee cup after finishing his coffee? Refueling his car? Not all actions have to be shown. It's a TV series, not reality television.
If you've seen the Season 2 finale, as well as episode 2 of Season 3, you'd know you can just get up and walk around.
@@MentalParadox We all interpret that show differently. If going by the dream logic, for me, you find yourself seated in the chair that is ment for you. Makes sense if you look at the show as a whole. Every character that has ever gone to the lodge and have been found in a chair.. guess what? They're already seated. Or do you belive they walked in to that room from some waiting room and got to choose where to sit?
You can always tell AI by the nightmare hands.
Hi, I agree in most cases but not this one as it's straight from the episode on Blu Ray, which was a 1080p source. If you watch this scene in the show, any weird appearing fingers will be visible there too, predating visual AI tools and are caused by shadows from the lighting set-up.
The only visual editing on my part involves reversing, looping and crossfades to extend clips. There are however some annoying rendering glitches (temporal ones, being apparent on anything that moves) unfortunately that I noticed too late after uploading but I don't think those are contributing to what you're noticing.
This is clearly not AI.
