Excellent advice thank you although I still think regards dialect this is only helpful if someone will either work, live or be speaking daily with people using that particular dialect. I maintain MSA is the good neutral language because everyone or close to everyone who speaks Arabic will understand MSA although they may speak in a dialect and MSA when responding. All dialects branch off MSA. I am now studying a book titled “Arabiyyat Al Naas” which is perhaps 95% MSA but all audio is in Levantine. I was surprised I actually understood most of the Levantine dialect because the words are similar to MSA and once you know how they differ that helps. I do agree it’s super important to learn the culture of the language you are studying. If I only learn Levantine and speak with and Algerian they most likely may not understand as easily as they would understand MSA. For now at least if like me you live in a non Arab speaking country and have no plans to live in an Arab country then I personally would learn MSA knowing it’s not spoken on the streets however understood by almost all Arabs. The advice about learning the verb tables is gold dust and you should be knighted!…how many times I see a word and then I realise oh it’s the verbal noun or the passive participle form and there after I can easily guess the meaning. This is super important to learn as students always feel I need to learn so much vocabulary as Arabic is a rich language but the verb table cuts the long journey in to a very short journey. مقطع رائع إذا كنت تريد ان تكون لهجتك قريبة من الفصحى تكلم باللهجة السعودية لأنها الأقرب للفصحى اماً إذا كنت تعاني أتعلم اللهجة المصرية واللبنانية إلا إذا كنت تريد قراءة النص القرآني فعليك تعلم الفصحى
Nice video as usual! Can you give a study plan e.g I read tafseer daily for 10 minutes and recently read saaq al bamboo for 30 minutes daily and I listen to scholars videos. Regards fusha movies they are not good although there are some drama series bit I would appreciate any advice
Snap! I asked a phd language student about this issue and put simply we learn to read and understand quicker because it’s all input where as speaking is all output so we need to now construct the sentence. I read a book with my teacher and summarise every paragraph which is helping me tremendously because I need to use the input I am learning and make it into output
نطقك للكلمات جميل جداً، وفقك الله

These forms?
What is a good source or way to learn the 10 forms? Are there any videos, websites, etc.

I'm stuck. I can read and understand a travel insurance policy document in Arabic, yet can't really hold a basic conversation!
