anyone using emuparadise and confused as to why there are no ratchet and clank downloads, you must use another ROM site, emu was taken down basically and forced to delete all downloads since they were threatened with copyright
fuck nitendo for doing that while they were also selling their own pirated old school games
emuparadise still works fine, use script and u'll be good to go
I want the EU version of games they are mostly USA copies
no it contains all regions
I only saw the US version of Ratchet and Clank on there

Before I had texture issues and dropped frames on wide open areas with a lot going on (such as Metropolis). Now I have no texture issues and the frames are always smooth.

wanted to say thank you. ive seen several of the silent videos and always had lag after, but your short explanations let me know which ones i needed to adjust ( the x16 seems a bit much for my 4 year old lap top sadly) i lowered that and now it seems to be all good. i will say that you don't need another program for a ps4 controller, it has a setting under controllers that you can check off and it allows ps4 readily. then again i have the newer version so maybe that wasnt a thing back then. thanks again

So I did everything in the video and after I changed my rendered to direct 3D 11 (software), I get a steady 30-40 fps, but my game still seems to be in kind of slow motion. Should I just keep messing around with the speed hacks?

@soxas 75-80% still isnt bad, i suggest though if youre still playing the game to use turbo or a speed hack during a fight (tab is the default key for tubro, it doubles you're speed by x2 im pretty sure so instead of 75-80% itll be closer to 160%)
I did everything exactly as in the video, but mine doesn't have mipmapping settings. That version you showed in the video is no longer available to download, and the latest version doesn't have the mipmap option.

I mean this is a less messy way to play a game than plug up your console and take more space, for me personally consoles that are old are collectible item, to play these games I'd rather do that on pc because it's more fun and less frustrating in a way

To think that the console company once claimed that PS2 or XBox emulator is impossible for PC. Now with huge upgrade on PC hardware, Graphic card, etc even PS4 emulator is not impossible.
WORKED AMAZING! much better than my old pcsx2 version with my settings, before I had a lot of lag and with different settings I had glitched graphics, but thanks to your video everything runs amazing, I can now play my old games I had as a kid, I already have a lot of them downloaded, this will be fun, thank you!

I don't really know but it is in the configuration the first selection and when I change it, it works but the graphics aren't good.
DOWNLOAD THE SAME VERSION OF PCSX2 AS I DID
I tried it but it's the same problem.
Just select SSE2 or SSE4? worked fine for me even if i couldnt use avx2

Lazo Chalak Ali that is if you are using weaker hardware or it might work in some situations but you can run this game it perfect speed whitout fps drops or speedups/slowdowns if you have the hardware for it and you put it on 1, he's specs are close to mine so it should work for him
I guess anything on pcsx2 is impossible to run with my laptop it's an I3 with 8gb ram no graphics card, jak 2 is too slow at the cuts cutscene I can't even start my game
Permax you need a really good processor to run emulators

yeah i had the wrong developer build and now downloaded the right one and then i disabled mipmapping. Thanks alot it works now almost perfectly!

Hey guys if your getting crazy stutter or anything when panning around the camera just turn speedhacks to "1"and then click apply. in my case speedhacks actually caused an insane amount if stutter.

i have tried everything you've said but it still slows down as soon as too much stuff is happening or too much of the enviroment shows, really need help, i know my pc is not the problem, tried 6 other games and they all worked perfect except ratchet and clank. please help
It might be your pc tho... to make those messy textures of 14.0 away you will need a pretty good pc... my game lagged a really tiny bit at the boss battle... try to mess around with speedhacks and if that doesn't work tr lowering the resolution

Dude you need at least to tell us pc specs and GSdx plugins settings, just saying that everything else works doesn't help
trying putting the speed hacks to balanced(3) and put the resolution to 1280×720. worked for me. i also kept the aspect ratio at standard 4:3 because the picture looked stretched

When i open game it load a 2 memory cards and one disc when i open disc it go black and back again... those memory cards have some sort of setrings in them

@@Solder_it Hey there, I just wanted to let you know that MOH: F doesn't actually need an incredibly powerful computer to run on. I can't remember my exact settings, but if you look around online, you should be able to find a list of settings that should allow you to run the game.

Still works to this day even without the dev build. THANK YOU now I can play my games without them looking like slideshows in certain spots.

Also something worth mentioning I followed your guide step by step but it seemed with European BIOS 2.0 I could not get the game to boot.
However with USA 1.60 BIOS the game boot perfectly before going to selection screen.

and that's wierd... i never run into any troubles with the EU 2.0 one
but if you installed the 1.6 usa one i highly suggest you download the US 2.0 bios you can find it online :)

Most likely you have a USA(NTSC) ISO, the Europe (PAL) ISO will likely work on that BIOS.
I'd recommend the PAL ISO anyway as it means it only needs to run at 50FPS to be considered 100% speed.

What is your GPU and are your drivers up to date?
I don't really know my GPU but I don't think it's frame drop or anything like that. I don't understand I can run bioshock 2 on medium quality with 30fps
Emulators are hard to run there can be endless problems. i can be running the witcher 3 on ultra in 144FPS but i wouldn't be able to run some random game on PCSX. your gpu might be to weak for this or your processor

with ntsc version you can, only pal is lock to 50fps
@@AlbertRei3424 yeah, I realise that, converted my save and swapped to the ntsc version, haven't had time to mess about with it a lot though
@@typical_arthur remember, on old consoles ,a lot of pal games are locked to 50hz, always go to the ntcs version to have a faster game

Ratchet and clank is 50FPS because you are using a crap PAL version of the game. The NTSC version is 60FPS

Still helpful even in 2020, out of all the videos on optimizing and changing the pcsx2 settings this one was by far the best and helped the most (and for the specific game I downloaded the emulator for), thanks bro I've been trying a lot of stuff to get to work well this definitely helped as well as keeping the game looking good (the anisotropic filtering and mipmapping helps a lot with looks when the original ps2 picture is stretched to fit my monitor :P)
also, im not sure if its just cause my pc (i have a 6 core cpu running at 3.6-8ghz, 16gbs of ram, and an nvidea 2gb gpu) but I noticed my performance/speed/fps is much better when i have my preset setting on the slider at 3-5, I think its the speedhacks that help speed it up, turbo also works similar with a lower preset but I think the turbo x2 your speed where as the preset slider setting changes it so that it only speeds up when the game/frame slows down so in menus/pause screen or whenever the game isnt slowed down you'll def notice the double times speed/turbo just cause of the audio and other things, so the preset speed hack settings on the slider work better in my opinion just cause it keeps the game close to a consistent speed (for me it sticks to around 100% speed)

The minimapping (ins) setting doesn't show up for me in the plugging settings, I've tried this on version 1.5 and the latest version 1.7 and it's still not there for me.
Will it be ok if i have USA bios at 2:14? Also will changing the memory card capacity play a role in game performance. The reason i don't want to delete 8mb cards is because of save files from fullmetal alchemist 2 and other games.

you have old hardware that means your GPU doens't support DX11, you can still try DX9 but you might have some problems running the game smooth if your hardware is that old

what do you mean find the application? use the shortcut on desktop or the exe in the folder where you installed it

Hi I need your help. I'm playing this game called The Warriors on PCSX2 and even when it says 60fps it does not feel or look like 60 at all. I looks more like 30fps or lower. I have seen footage of people actually playing the game at 60 and it looks very smooth. I'm using a Ryzen 5 2600x paired with a gtx 1060 6gb. Thanks

Hi Joben, I tried using the above settings which you just showed. However, Ratchet and Clank lags in the beginning and goes quite slow as you progress. I am using the USA version of the game. Could that be the problem or am I missing something?

Reason: The plugin reports that your hardware or software/drivers are not supported.

Your PC specs are to low you can try DX9 but your pc is probably going to have trouble with running the game but you can always try
