Here’s a theory I’ve been cooking up to explain the timeline shenanigans that are afoot in HW2. You know how we are revealed to be in a Staff Bot, more specifically Map/Mask Bot at the end of the normal ending? Well what if we were always in that bot for the entire game, and we are just experiencing the digital memories of whoever we played as. So that would explain pizza sim and sister location, our player character was just there at that time. Yes there’s holes in my theory as, why would whoever we play as (I’m believing it to be Cassie’s Dad) be at Pizza Sim? But idk, thought it was intriguing enough to share.
i think the nightmere plushies are a teaser for saying that this is all a nightmere that was after our player went to bed in fnaf 4 (because its the only fnaf with a child and a bed)
I think for me I'll be really sad if we AREN'T Cassie's dad, because that first ending is SO narratively powerful if we are. It's the kind of tragedy that the Frights books tend to lean into-- her dad being trapped inside a staff bot, her having no idea that it's him, one interaction where he's possibly dooming his kid forever but he doesn't have a say in it. Absolutely heartbreaking.
I'm pretty sure this is true. As a matter of fact,Cassie's dad and the bonnie mask are dead, give away that her dad got corrupted or captured by the mimic/glitch trap virus since the bonnie mask in ruin is bugging out.😮😢
You won’t believe what I discovered, glitch trap and burn trap are ally’s, but the mimic was trapped below them. So burntrap was attacked by Gregory, Freddy head, and the Bonnie guy from 1983, trapping him inside it with Bonnie guy because he went into one to trap him within a charger forever or temporarily. Freddy head was separated by his body forcefully taking his head off and walking to fazar blast. Gregory and freddy(golden boy and security guard/good guy were forced to leave as mxes sent a message after burntrap containment to respect the trap for mimic and never let it loose. Gregory didn’t know that mimic got his voice and recordings in the pizzeria, and used communication left by Bonnie guy(technical guy) and been blocked by the blob most likely because it was the blob(from sister location) first time seeing it and following it. Gregory didn’t enter until he noticed Cassidy name mentioned by the system from Roxy. He backtracked mxes entity activity from the mask by system access from Freddy head. All the damage and teleportation seems to slow them down, as the animatronics remains and fixes are seen by Gregory. He had realized Cassidy had been given his father mask somehow and managed to get the pizzaplex self operated by the animatronics. By the time he reaches Roxy race way with bad memories, he discovers the mask disconnection and being forced to free Roxy as she was run into error mode which triggered safe mode most likely. Leading him to tell her the mimic getting towards Cassidy. The endo/anamatronic could survive the fall faster than Gregory getting down slowly to communicate with Cassidy. But if we consider that Bonnie guy was stuck in the system, that guy could start communication with Gregory while Cassidy had the mask since the mimic full attention was on Cassidy and mxes. Glichtrap and burntrap were occupied with survival and noticed system being fixed in a ruined building. Vanni mask was probably a relay for controls and vr teleportation due to past incidents. Bonnie guy(the father for Cassie) had probably been in the system contacting Gregory.
Back in Ruins I knew it was a stretch that Cassie’s dad was one of the kids responsible for the bite of 83, but now seeing this gameplay and story, finding the Bonnie mask with a text saying “This seems familiar” makes me believe that they actually weren’t that far off.
doesn't that also set the timeline more of the characters ages? Michael, if alive, would be around Cassie's dad's age, and it's possible to have his parents still be around, albeit old, but very interesting to think about huh
I believe that Carnie isn't just saying pre-programmed lines as he starts to freak out when he is on fire. I think that him stating "you look like you have kids," is just a solid way for Steel Wool to give insight into he character you play.
I'd just like to mention that if you zoom into the Vanny crushing Glitchtrap scene, you can see that Glitchtrap tries to defend himself, he raises his arms, shakes his head and goes into a fetal position right as she splats him, so I'm pretty sure this is supossed to be a confirmation of Vanessa being free from Glitchtrap's control
Nah he raises his arm as he waves back at the player, and him going into a fetal position does not have to mean he had died or that vanny was trying to free herself. i think the way rye explained it was actually spot on. vanessa catches u trying to fuck with her plans to bring afton back with the glitch trap virus and takes glitchtrap back and kills u. and also remember that at this point bro was in a video game in his mind while in AR so his mind was fucked 100%.
@@crimer_doppleragain he is literally in two different realties at that point so what we are seeing could just be his mind being fucked over by the virus. bcuz if this game is before ruin and during sb then why would vanny kill glitch trap ?
and btw he said u get an achievement called “consequences” once u get this ending adding to the speculation that we were searching for answers and went too deep and got caught by vanny and glitch trap.
Cassie's dad makes sense as the protagonist because it makes the first 'normal' ending more impactful. Why would we care about being stuck inside a staffbot unless if we were tragically unable to interface with our daughter. It feels similarly to the end of help wanted 1 where you end up as a stuffed kid inside of Freddy.
I didn't like the bonnie bro theory at first, BUT, I actually think the emotional pay-off has huge potential. Finally seeing the aftermath of someone outside the Emily and Afton households who was traumatised by what happened, someone who lingers around freddy's years after the accident, potentially someone still looking for his childhood friend Michael, who gets lost trying to put things right and is left as a robot inhabiting ghost (just like the kid he helped get killed) trying to protect his daughter from the same fate from beyond the grave. Like that's GOOD. I like that a lot. I hope it's true.
Maybe him being Bonnie Bully is what makes him so special? He's specifically targeted by Glitchtrap then his consciousness is transferred into Mask Bot where he (probably unwillingly) gives Cassie, his daughter, the V.A.N.N.I. now wrapping her up in this mess and potentially getting influenced by Glitchtrap, too. All as a means of revenge for what he did as a teenager in 1983. That's pure speculation, though.
@@Takejiro24This is just a wack theory out of the blue, but what if Cassie’s Father’s brother was Jeremy, I may be overthinking it but when you get the Bonnie plushie in Bonk-a-bon, you get an achievement that says “remember Jeremy” This could give Cassie’s Father an even more personal connection to Freddy’s. But idk, That’s just a theory I had in the back of my head.
Freddy continued Michale and the guy who worked from fnaf1-3 to fnaf pizzeria simulator to be inhabited inside Freddy head, glamrock Freddy makes sense, but Jeremy was nearby suggest he was traded places of Freddy head in system to him in the system. Vanni, Bonnie mask guy from 1983, and now Cassidy are stuck with the mimic and glitchtrap. While Gregory and freddy(golden/lonely child) are free spirits.
Really glad they are not abandoning the Glamrock era cast and instead are fleshing out everything as they go. They greatest strength of this era of FNAF are the characters actually being characters. Seeing Roxy, Vanny, Cassie, Moon and Sun, Freddy, Chica all getting more screen time is great.
With the candy cadet stories, it seems like Vanessa was able to overcome glitchetraps control but has returned to help Gregory in stopping the mimic. The ending with Vanny seems to show that you were able to catch glitchtrap and Vanny then destroys him. (Most likely not the cannon ending however but does show that Vanessa’s new intentions are to stop glitchtrap)
I like that everyone assumes that Gregory is just pure evil because of the candy cadet story, but like, it gives me the vibe that both of them got trapped in the "oven" since the story doesn't say that the boy escaped, just that it closed. It could mean that, in their attempts to stop glitchtrap, both of them got caught by it, which kinda makes sense since in Ruin he says (or implies, which is the clearest thing we ever get in this franchise) he's working with Vanessa? Idk maybe it's just copium bc I like Gregory and want him to be good
I think candy cadet's first story is highly relevant. I think its implies there was a third family apart from Henry and William that had an opportunity to join into the fazbear brand, however they turned it down and then their carnival mysteriously burned down
If anyone is wondering what Mystic Hippo does, as far as I know it’s just a cool eye tracking thing. Spiff tore that thing apart (not literally haha) and tried absolutely everything his chat came up with but nothing worked. It makes sense to not lock anything crazy behind a specific console, as Spiff said, it was probably an agreement to put some sort of eye tracking in their game and they decided to use Mystic Hippo to avoid fans wasting money for big lore. But hey, that’s just a theory :^) Mystic Hippo might actually be more than just a showcase of eyetracking technology.
While it was nice of them not to lock gameplay or lore behind a paywall, i do feel really bad for people who bought the console just for that specific part and got nothing (Matpat 😂)
I love cassies design SO much. most of the time kids in media look like shrunken adults or bobbleheads but cassie looks like a kid and shes overflowing with character. I feel like FNAF has suffered from a lack of personality in its characters and cassie is defying that problem with flying colors. shes a kid that looks like a kid and i hope that other stories take note.
one story that does this really well is a manga called Goodnight Punpun, but I do not recommend reading it in full if you have any kind of parental trauma or are susceptible to stuff like that, It's pretty heavy sht. it's bitterly, grudgingly realistic, there's no magic or paranormal stuff. but the art style is so unique, and sticks with you, throughout the years as they grow up Aiko grows up like an actual child. in middle school, she still looks like a kiddo. her kiddo design is adorable and she deserved so much better, punpun sucks
An important note on Chica being first and Henry's line, according to the wiki the line is " a wound first inflicted on me, but then one that I let bleed out to cause all of this." I think the "but then" is really important. He's simply saying, first this happened, then this happened, not that he was the first one wounded. I've always interpreted this line as Henry somewhat blaming himself for some of what has happened, though we don't know the details why. He's saying "first a wrong was done to me, but then I made it worse." I doubt Henry actually did anything wrong, maybe some of the tech William used to lure and trap children was adapted from something Henry made for innocent reasons, maybe he just feels guilty for being unable to stop William. Another note, that line is from FNAF 6. Scott has said when things have been misunderstood by the fanbase he tries to clarify in later games. In ultimate custom night, which was released after FNAF 6, we get Chica's line of "I was the first. I have seen everything." Which was surprisingly simple and straightforward for FNAF. In retrospect, I think Scott saw that fans had misunderstood Henry's line, and only gave us such a clear indicator that Chica was first because he was trying to get us back on track.
I think the but then I made it worse means that he let it happen, kept letting kids die after each location and even after the toy animatronics were made with security recognition, jeremy died because of one of them.
@@SubZero-hs9xc that doesn't have to be true. The soul of chica could have still been around the pizzeria by the time Charlie dies. All Charlie really has done as the puppet is likely transplant the souls into the animatronics. Chica was probably the first one to get the animatronic treatment because at the time she would've been the only victim besides Charlie. If anything, it makes the security puppet all the more important.
@@TheNinToasterwell if we are taking that graveyard ending into account it isn’t just that Charlotte wasn’t first, it’s that she was last of the 6. Which yeah gets made weird cause of the Puppet giving life to the first 5. I guess it just means souls can stick around for a lot longer than we first thought. My biggest question though is because of the association between Puppet 1983, does that mean Crying Child was actually the last to die? Either him or Elizabeth. Which would seemingly either confirm that Cassidy was in Golden Freddy when it killed Crying Child or confirm that Golden Freddy and Fredbear are different animatronics.
I feel like that first Candy Cadet story isn't just a throw-away. A family missing their "meal ticket" and it ruining their lives seems like an important point. While you could probably make an argument for it being about one of the franchise's two major families, the Aftons or the Emilys, I have a gut feeling that it's referring to characters that we know a lot less about. It could even be a hint towards characters that haven't been introduced yet
I agree. Family gets a great deal and doesn't take it and dies. I think this is Henry's family since his lefty look alike animatronic are at fall fest and it's burning.
At this point, I'm convinced the nightmarionne plushes are just visual easter eggs and don't mean too much. They're just a neat thing to spot, they are way too weird to have lore relevance. Edit: The Remember Jeremy trophy is not tied to the Bonnie doll specifically, it unlocks from any of the plushes being found.
Nightmarionne pretty clearly represents death in some way, being opposed to the marionne who represents life. I dont know what exactly it means, maybe something like "The character is about to die", but this really feels like something with a meaning.
If Adventure Time taught me anything growing up, while things can be random or appear arbitrary at first, symbolism always finds its way DOWN to the roots where the true meaning is buried, well that and the visual gags/background visuals that ALWAYS come BACK around in FUN and EVENTFUL ways!!~ (💚🎭💚)
The neutral ending with maskbot is interesting because i think i remember seeing a brain in maskbot in the ar world. If the nightmare staffbots removed cassidad's brain, did some dreadbear-style programming, and stuck it in the maskbot to lure his daughter to her death, well, that's certainly horrifying.
I hadn't noticed that Monty doesn't appear in the group, but it's interesting because there's also a line in one of the dialogues that lists animatronics, and refers to one of them as "TBD". I assume that's "to be determined", or something like that. So that would potentially nail down the game's place in the timeline.
i mean is easy to assume where it happens you are at the pizzaplex and the ending shows you becoming the bot that gives Cassie the mask so it happens Between Security Breach and Ruin
@@GAMM_SAGE - Yeah. I think the most important thing is that it doesn't happen *after* Ruin - it's just kinda cool that there are so many clues to that along the way.
Maybe Monty should have been the last First Aid animatronic, instead of the Pizzeria Simulator theming they went with. He would have fit in the vents, and it would prevent Scrap Baby from throwing wrenches in the lore.
On the Bonnie Bully train of thought: The 'good' ending requires collecting the memories of the MCI and Charlie. Basically, reminding Cassie's Dad of who he is and why he's there. Since after the bite of '83, that's when the killing started. Thinking back to those early tragedies helps to fight off the influence that led him to basically become a pawn in setting up Ruin, and thus go for the kill in Princess Quest IV. I also think that the Princess Quest IV aspect could be pointing to Cassie's Dad also being the Arcade Conspiracy person that ended up getting fired in the Security Breach notes, which could explain how he avoided the all staff meeting purge.
On my play through I collected the foxy doll first and I got the same “remember Jeremy?” Achievement, so I think it’s just collecting any doll, not just the Bonnie one.
Yeah, that achievement is given just from collecting any doll, not any specific ones, but the image for the achievement is the Bonnie doll, so there might be something there
@@mandalynn1384 While I share this headcanon don't forget that there are three separate Jeremy's. For all we know this is talking about the guy who died in the first Help Wanted.
I'm not sure if anyone thought of this or not, but are the staff bots created used using human souls as well? Like that basement room where all the human staffs were before they disappeared could've been a hint that all the staff were used to create the staff bots. Like that ending where you give Cassie the mask is kind of giving me that feeling.
@@vegainthestreets it's literally just food for thought, it doesn't need to be a 5 pages long essay with sources. I think it's a cool concept, the ending with Cassie makes it a possibility. Maybe not all the staff bots are, because you can see the messages in your faz-watch in sb and those should've been sent by people. But, maybe the ones that tried to dig a little too deep into what was happening around the pizza-plex got the ol' soul transfer treatment
Someone posted that Montgomery Gator didn’t get the claws to do that to Bonnie until after Bonnie was already done in. However, the claw marks left by the staff bots in the ending where they tear Freddy apart would match the marks on Bonnie. The Montgomery Gator was Framed Theory.
Monty always had claws, just like freddy or roxy, he simply didn't have the upgraded ones, even the cutouts show that. A guy on twitter compared the model of monty's hand to the clawmarks on bonnie's chest and it fits perfectly. From the cut voicelines of security breach we see that the princess quest ending originally had monty, roxy and chica be the ones to destroy freddy, and shattered freddy's model was based on that, the ending then changed to a bare cutscene with staffbots, maybe due to time and budget, but the shattered freddy model remained the same. So these points are not valid arguments to the theory that monty was framed
@@arandomscoutmain Monty went insane after the fall, which made him pose a lot like Bonnie himself. He went from an animatronic with unstable emotional outburst to a savage monster. Reminding Monty about Bonnie and his demise makes him mindlessly angry.
I think it's important to know that when Vanny is about to crush Glitchtrap his animation in the game but also in his files show him visibly cowering in fear before getting crushed so I do think he is Dead now. And I know you rejected the idea of using unused content but with how the cut Vanny voicelines fit perfectly into the game without any contradictions unlike previous games it's crystal clear that a tiny fragment of Glitchtrap survived after the PQ ending and when ended up destroying the last remaining fragment of Glitchtrap
That's facts but i doubt that ending is canon anyway.Correct me if im missing something but then if glitchtrap isnt around anymore how does mimic (who is basically his physical form)have access to the VANNI mask (corrupting helpi, and also causing the bizzare ''Brazil''ending in ruin.)I think that youre right about the fact that tiny bits of glitchtrap survived after PQ3 but thats it.The reason we dont see him in ruin is because he is either too weak to do the crazy shit he does in HW 1,SB and HW 2 or MXES is containing him.(It basically leads into Cassie turning into an apprentice for the mimic so that wouldnt be possible without glitchtrap. ALSO another point worth mentioning is that Glitchtrap's supposed to be a virus,Meaning that as we've seen,The more he corrupts the BIGGER AND STRONGER he gets. So,Sure maybe glitchtrap DID GET REMOVED but he's still in the Mimic endo who can just reform his virus since Glitchtrap is the game version's Tiger rock (Tiger rock in tales of the pizzaplex is basically the Mimic's digital avatar,Which is glitchtrap in the games basically)
Yeah,But the endo mimic is still alive and he runs with the mimic1...Im seeing a possible comeback (Also the staffbot giving cassie the mask has glitchtrap ears,so do what you will with this information)Also the mimic could use him more like an avatar now...Nah imagine cassie putting on the vanni mask to look at the mimic and she sees glitchtrap waving,Also i think its confirmed theyre the same one because like if itsnt glitchtrap why would he be involved with vanessa and gregory and allat,So im convinced Burntrap is probably a what-if@@alexsch_
I’ve been really hesitant to believe the “Cassie’s dad” theories since ruin.. but your explanation of it actually makes sense and I can see fitting narratively and I really love that! Good job Rye!!!
A note for the carosel, in a video done by the guy who chwcks for out of bounds stuff in horror games, it showd a barn, and some other stuff. And when the fire starts, it begins at the barn and takes a deliberate straight path to the carosel. I feel like it may mean something
I think some of the timeline weirdness could be explained as Cassie's Dad's memories as a technician being muddled with AR Training scenarios, seeing things that did and didn't happen and at different times, with little context to separate it out.
I think this game is training for Cassie's dad. The sister location animatronics move around and exist freely because it can be explained as VR training. Same with Scrap Baby and Lefty. All of the games involve some on the job scenarios like food service and first aid. I also think Glitchtrap/the virus is speaking to us through Baby and Moon when they ask what makes us special. I don't believe it comes from a place of jealousy, but rather worthiness. We could even go a step further and tie Cassie's dad (if that's who we are) to the one note in SB about being worthy to save the princess. Help Wanted 2 (imo) is a story about stumbling into something you shouldn't have seen, biting off more than you can chew, and ultimately paying the price. That's just my theory though, interested to see your thoughts
Man, that gamemode where Baby walks up to you and gives you ice cream scared the hell out of me. First of all, seeing Baby walk down the hall while I was helpless was terrifying, but then she stops and gives you ice cream. I immediately recognized this as the way Elizabeth died, so I was super scared to take the ice cream. When I did, it was fine of course, but it was super scary for the first time
Truly the most unbelievable part of FNAF at this point is not the possession or murder or anything, it’s how realistic it is to get the merch. Anyone else have the same problem finding the Funko figures?
"A wound first inflicted on me" doesn't have to mean Charlie dies first. It only has to mean that William did something to Henry before Henry did something to William. It can be either referring to setting him on fire right then, or that Henry has done something else to William we have no context to yet, but it doesn't have to mean the order of Charlie's death.
Or Charlie is the first that possessed an animatronic and gave ''life'' to the others helping them (sorry for any mistakes english is not my first language)
The witch story kinda reminds me of the Silver Eyes trilogy plot. We have young Charlie who after many years visits Freddy's with her friends. They all survive but are either mentally or physically scarred. Later on, while in college, she goes back in, chasing the voice who she thinks is her brother, only to get seemingly killed by twisted Freddy. The other story might be related to either the Afton family or it might be a metaphor for the pseudo family that the glitchtrap virus might've been trying to create with Gregory, Vannessa and Glamrock Freddy.
19:30 god i love the image of an animatronic coming to kill someone they walk around the corner and they see the nightgaurd beating the every loving crap out of helpy with a hammer and just turn around and run off cause they ain't dealing with that
I personally think this game takes place over a long period of time (or at least we're reliving memories scattered over a long period of time). Whoever we're playing as i believe was present during the events of fnaf 6 and was in the sister location bunker prior to sister location. I think he's either a career fazbear technician who's been in the position for years, a servant/accomplice to Afton, or both. If he's Bonnie bro, maybe William manipulated him with what he did to cc just as he had Michael, and he just stayed under William's control for longer. Maybe he's even the reason why the fnaf 6 fire wasn't as effective as henry wanted it to be. What if that's what Candy cadet's story is about? What if its about Michael wanting to get revenge on his father, and trusting his old friend to help him, only for him to betray him at the last moment and trap him in the burning pizzaria while he helped Afton escape?
Not sure if this has been talked about yet, but is it possible that Cassy's dad becomes mask bot in the main ending of the game? All the staff bots grab you after collecting all the figurines and then you see a start up sequence. Not only does this make sense for where Cassy's dad went, seemingly disappearing, but also mask bot has bunny ears that are a Bonnie shade of blue or purple (I'm a bit color blind so not sure if the color lines up). With how much Cassy's dad seems to be related to Bonnie, it would makes sense that mask bot has bonnies ears representing her dad. I don't know if this is what steel wool was implying but it seems to make a little bit of sense to me, considering that the main ending is so focused on that moment of mask bot giving Cassy the mask, showing one last father daughter moment as he's completely under glitch traps control as a mask bot now. That or the lines "What makes you so special" are just referring to the fact that who you are playing as, mask bot, is given some sort of special treatment.
11:10 I like how with Carnie, Rye says “Am I cassie’s dad” as a typical theorist, then FusionZGamer: “Wait… I look like I have kids!? Are you calling me pregnant?”
I haven't made it through the whole video but I just want to say thank you for clearing up the whole retcon thing. I feel like too many people in this community assume that Scott and steel wool have been retconing Things left and right, but like you said we just don't have all the answers. So thank you very much!
19:53 Actually, the fnaf4 double locked box is in fact hidden in the log flume ride. It's in the third helpy area I believe, on the floor next to where jackomoon appears. However, it's purple and glitchy. I haven't seen anyone say anything about this before.
In my opinion, both endings could be considered canon. With the help-bot ending showing what happened to Cassies dad and the Swcret ending showing what happened to Vanny/Vanessa after Security Breach. The normal ending shoing how Cassies dad let the the Mimic Virus/Glitchtrap out and the Secret ending showing the Glitchtrap no longer has control over Vanessa.
9:26 While you do take off the mask to access the hardmode games, by the time you are done, you are put back into the lobby with the mask on. So maybe you put the mask back on while playing the hard mode version, and you just take it off to access them?
True! I get why people think we play as Cassie’s dad but we don’t know for sure until it’s revealed, I think It’s just storytelling that we, whoever we play as, is A Fazbear Employee and a father with kids.
Yeah, just finished the video and MAN did IT go HARD. ( Keep it up Rye! ) You have a nice, organized way of following FNaF's narrative, thanks for sharing that with the FNaF's community.
My money on the story is it's Lefty. Like, Charlie gets scarred as Puppet, then she's lured into Lefty, then oven. 25:00 Cassie's dad, also known as the prior employee at Sister Location who made the little nest, as per the "this minigame was made just for you" on the interview level description.
What an amazing game. Not making the mistake people always want FNAF to do, which is just give clues and bits of lore to previous stuff like some detective board game kit. Help Wanted 2 was full of its own contained story, that eventually connects to the bigger lore. It has great twists, it makes us be super sure of one thing, until it reveals it's actually something else. The whole vanny mask thing was one of the best twists I've experienced, and it didn't take drama or buildup to deliver. FNAF storytelling is really something else.
I still think Princess Quest is the canon ending. Between Vanny and Vanessa both being gone, Freddy’s body being headless and in the right spot, PQ3 clearly being played, and the fact that they had to invent a whole other disaster for the story to work, it makes more sense to me. (side note, when you go in the BurnTrap room in Ruin, it’s pretty intact, nothing like it is at the end of the Afton or true or two star or burn- who cares ending) I think Vanny being there, and being enormous is telling. For one, it’s cool, but also, why else would she be that big unless it was digital? How else could she be physically interacting with GlitchTrap? There’s other things too, like who was the friend Gregory (if that part was Gregory) mentioned having access to the building maps? It could be Freddy, but he didn’t seem to have those in SB, or else he would have directed Gregory around. Anyway, that’s my own thoughts on the matter. Still like the video tho! I discovered your channel when Ruin came out and I love it! Nice work!
i also agree the princess quest ending is canon but why does the ruined Freddy have prototype on his foot and a gift, if you look in the ending Freddy didn’t have a gift and he has nothing in his stomach
Few other things to note 1. When you get a gutter in Bonnie bowl, the screen shows Bonnie being crushed by Monty, taking his place 2. The missing kid order from princess quest aligns with the graves in fnaf 6, with Charlie in the back left 3. The achievement remember Jeremy shows the Bonnie doll, could be referring to the kid, the beta tester, or maybe even the guard from fnaf 2. For all we know maybe the Bonnie bully grew up to work in fnaf 2 (meaning now we have two Jeremy’s who relate to Bonnie), also a big coincidence that fnaf 2 has Bonnie missing his face. Also, if Bonnie bully is named Jeremy, could he be the same Jeremy from help wanted? Cause phone Guy in fnaf 1 says “it’s amazing the human body can live without the frontal lobe”, so Jeremy canonically survived. What if after the bite, Jeremy (theorized to be the Bonnie bully) worked with silver Parasol and as a fazbear technician and got possessed by Glitchtrap, cutting off his face (just like withered Bonnie now that I think of it)
Okay so I keep seeing Jeremy in relation to fnaf 2 but I swear there was a teaser for sister location that said “remember Jeremy” behind bars when you brighten the image. I need someone else to remember this so I don’t think I’m going crazy. The intial theory behind the teaser was that Jeremy had been falsely accused or something but what if Jeremy was bonnie bully who is Cassie’s dad. I know it is a very long stretch but I want to know if this makes sense to anyone else
@@piperpickinpickles there is no sister location teaser that said remember jeremy, but there is a message in fnaf vr that says that, is that what you mean?
For the number of missing kids it makes some sense for the order to end with Charlie/Charlotte. Not because she was last, but because she was the only one actually found, shes not part of the incident, her death, while done by afton, in many ways was less important than those 5 especially considering what happened to her was known shortly after she died as she was dumped behind the diner and henry mentioned her death knowing exactly what happened. Her death is obviously important to the story, moreso than all but maybe cc, but her being outside of the incident which was a major part of the company having that many issues, means her death for them matters less.
That’s something that bothers me about any theories that try to put deaths before Charlie’s. Her death is a separate event from the MCI, the others aren’t even possessed without her giving gifts/life. Heck, we don’t even know too much about the Missing Kids as individuals aside from Susie and Cassidy, they come as a unit.
@@madamplatypus313 Yeah we know very little about them. It's why I do like the idea of cassie's uncle being one of the kids. Adds a bit more connection to older lore and Michael's bonnie masked friend who would be cassie's father has a similar skin color to cassie.
Couldn’t the first half of the candy cadet story be steel wool revealing that Cassie has a slightly deeper lore than we initially realized? Like why was she at the pizzaplex in the first place? Maybe she’s been there before and got out?
Here's my explanation for the sister location stuff. Aside from the hard modes that are based in sister location; nothing we do in sister location is "new". We see these scenarios in the initial sister location game, including the voicelines (sneaking through balora gallery, the ennard secret room etc.). And it's established that events of sister location are in the games that "rogue developer" made. So maybe these games are just leisure tools inputted into the Vanny mask system, that employees can play to blow off steam on breaks etc. the first help wanted used sister location, so this is just a continuation of the sister location inclusion in these VR products that Fazbear Entertainment makes. And the "Job Interview" section, perhaps looks back on the player characters first trip down the FNAF rabbithole. The fact that Baby doesn't eat you after offering you ice cream confirms you are an adult, as baby is designed to entrap alone children.
I feel like the parts of the game where it’s the “normal” levels, we’re still wearing the vanni mask and technically everything is only happening in the AR world. That could help explain why sister location and pizzeria simulator animatronics are there. And even why the pizza plex is still intact. They’re only there because the mask shows us them. The hard levels, for the most part, we go back to the same areas to play the mini games, but now they’re all somewhat destroyed. I think that could be us going back to those areas but now in real time to see what they look like in the real world since we’re no longer wearing the vanni mask.
I’m thinking the “remember Jeremy” achievement you got from collecting the Bonnie rag doll just appears no matter which rag doll you collect first in your play through.
big issue with that is that both SL and pizza sim animatronics show up in "hard mode", i prefer the idea that it's just different points in time of the char's career instead of being literal minigame taking place at the same time
I've only just realized watching this at 1:30 am that SO MUCH of this series is based on speculation and lore hunting to the point where the actual story of the games isnt really important anymore because we are always trying to figure out the REAL story behind everything...which is never just told to the player. This series must be so damn confusing to look at from the outside and I bet the fanbase wouldnt even be able to handle it if the next game just had a normal story that actually communicated everything to us
I like that glitchtraps shadow is on the wall behind the princess quest game, just waving at you, when you find it in ruin. Not the purple glitch, but when you take the mask off the shadow on the wall.
imo i think the "timeline placement" is a bit more complex obviously parts are after SB and before ruin, and some parts are before SB or "during" SB (as in like, functioning pizzaplex), but i also think a lot of the other minigames are through different points in time of the main char's career at fazbear ent we work -at SL as a technitian before micheal goes there; which explains why functioning funtimes are there and why ennard is kinda easy, it would've been one of the first times they try to escape (in SL circus baby does say that they've "been out before" so i can imagine them doing the ennard thing a few times before) and they're not as capable or desperate yet as they are in the alt ending of SL -at FNAF6; in a backroom practicing medical aid, i dont think this is micheals office, probably just a similar room attached to the vent network, explains why lefty and scrap baby are there without saying they never got destroyed -at the pizzaplex during operation; plenty of functioning pizzaplex stuff with relatively undamaged glamrocks/daycare attendent -at the pizzaplex post-collapse; shattered animatronics and broken down enviroment, we give roxy her security node mask and most interestingly, -at fallfest 83; with the fazerblast carnival, and the carousel, which seem to be connected as fazerblast/the festival burns down which u can see during carousel ( i suppose it could be a different fallfest but it its the only one we know of)
I think a lot of people are very quick to assume the minigames are actually happening, when in the lobby we are quite literally just loading games from the computer into the VANNI mask. They aren't actually happening all at the same time
@@OrtonLongGaming we're accessing files on the computer sure but we're not loading them into the AR mask, because thats not how the VANNI mask is shown or said to work (it is AR, not VR) and also we play some of the same games in the hardmode that has you explicitly take off the VANNI mask to access you can make the argument that they are recordings or smth sure, but i dont think you can just attribute everything to the VANNI mask even when it contradicts how that mask works
Here’s a theory about Cassie’s dad: I think that in some way, the person we play as (I believe it’s Cassie’s dad) has lost their memory and is either the last one left by accident (after the other workers got replaced or killed) or maybe on purpose to go back and try to fix some things from his past. With that said, all the little things with Bonnie and Cassie and her dad would all make sense: Cassie asking the Bonnie mask “what happened to you”, the vr player’s obsession with Bonnie, and the vr player’s seemingly forgotten memory of the mask’s significance but still says “you look familiar” (implying that it IS important but he doesn’t know how). I’m not quite sure why Cassie’s dad would’ve lost his memory, or how he ended up their, but maybe he was controlled by glitchtrap for some time? As mentioned with the “collect memories” achievement, this vr game might be him trying to get his memories back and fix his past mistakes and return to the real world. This could also be used to figure out how and why the player’s conscious (or at least view) is put in a staff bot that gives Cassie the vanni mask. This is such a loose idea, but just wanted to put it out there!
@@RyeToast and without the mask we still see them as minigames on a computer screen. Also anytime you finish any minigame (mask or no mask) your mask is automatically back on afterwards, likely suggesting that in universe the mask does have to be on to play the games at all. (The reason i dont just call that something necessary for gameplay and lacks actual meaning, is because they just as easily could have us not have the mask on after a no-mask minigame, but they didnt.)
The achievement "Remember jeremy?" isn't exclusive to the bonk-a-bon one, it just happens for the first memory you collect. Got my first one in the ballora one and still got the achievement, it being the bonnie one in bonk-a-bon and bonnie on the achievement pic is just a coincidence
23:54. In the gallery thing, the broken Music Man is labeled “Ruined Music Man”. Also showing that the hard mode music man level takes place during Ruin.
After Game Theory first postulated that Cassie's dad could be the Bonnie Bro, I thought that people reacted a little too hard against it, but I also thought that I needed a little more evidence before I believed it. Then this game came out. I agree with most of what you say. Cassie's dad is the only player who really makes sense, and seeing the Shattered animatronics and not the Ruined animatronics is definetly telling us this takes place between Security Breach and Ruin. I think this could also connect to your previous theory about Lefty not burning in the fire. Basically, what if Cassie's dad started to investigate pre-Security Breach, not because of the destruction of Glamrock Bonnie, but instead because of Gregory's disappearance? If Gregory was a regular kid who got brainwashed by Glitchtrap with the VANNI mask, then he probably was friends with Cassie before being brainwashed. Then, when Vanny got to him, he disappeared, so Cassie and her dad started looking for him, putting up posters like we see in Ruin. When Cassie was left alone, Cassie's dad didn't give up and kept looking. Eventually he found out about the FNAF 6 pizzeria, and while down there discovered Lefty. Then Lefty/Puppet/Charlie got him to either build or improve the M.X.E.S. system in exchange for telling him how to help Gregory, by playing through the Balloon World arcade games. Cassie's dad then played through the Balloon World arcade games and left before Vanny found him. After that, Security Breach happened with Gregory now being free but having amnesia and not knowing to find or tell Cassie until after Security Breach. After Security Breach ended, with Gregory playing through the three Princess Quest games and (mostly) freeing Vanessa, Cassie's Dad returned to the destroyed PizzaPlex as part of the rebuilding team, immediately going down to the FNAF 6 pizzeria to investigate. He obviously knew there was some very weird things going on, but didn't really understand. He couldn't find Lefty again either, as he/she was already gone (potentially either dealing with the physical Mimic or, in my personal headcanon, tracking the Fazbear Funtime shipments and stopping Remnant collection). So he started to use the mask. I think that both endings could potentially be canon at the same time, just like how multiple of the endings from the first Help Wanted could be canon. The first ending is showing how Cassie's dad physically died, with Glitchtrap ordering the STAFF bots to take him apart. However, the second ending shows us what happened to his mind. That by using the AR mask so much, his mind was integrated into it's system. I think that the 'trade' he made was allowing them to control him in exchange for them reliquishing the remaining hold they had on Vanessa's mind. That's why Vanny crushes Glitchtrap-they're letting Vanessa go as part of the deal. However, we then see in the first ending the consequences of that deal. With Glitchtrap now having full control of him, they made him watch as they brought his daughter into the mix before cordoning him off to the side in the destroyed Glamrock Bonnie. Another thing that the Princess Quest ending could mean relates more to Cassidy. Not Cassie, Cassidy, the Vengeful Spirit. If the theory that Cassidy is is the Princess is true, then Cassie's dad entering the system could be him potentially working with her to both completely free Vanessa (as Cassidy had already tried to do) or to just free Cassidy's spirit from the machine. The 'trade' at the end does make a bit more sense when it comes to that, as Cassie's dad is essentially giving himself up so that Cassidy could be freed from the Princess Quest games. This also connects to a past theory I had, that Cassidy's spirit enters Roxy by Ruin. The reason why Roxy is so protective of Cassie is not just because of Roxy's history with her (though that plays a part in it) it could also be because Cassidy's spirit inside of Roxy feels a debt to Cassie's father and wants to protect Cassie because of that.
What I find interesting in PQ 4, is that the princess is given the ability to teleport. The only character we’ve known that can do that is Golden Freddy. I think it’s still being implied that Cassidy/Golden Freddy is The Princess. I do like the idea of Bonnie. To being Cassie’s dad. Given he did help Mike with carrying Crying Child to Fredbear. So while the other 2 bullies are still a mystery, it’s possible we may still see them? Maybe after the bite, there was fallout with their friendship, with Bonnie Bro being the one to take it just as hard as Michael. I do like this idea, because the Aftons and Emily families were the main focus, now we’re seeing the effects of the past still being effected on others. I can’t wait to see Matpats reaction to all of Help Wanted 2s secrets.
The way that you described the second Candy Cadet story made me think that maybe the story connects to Princess Quest. In the Princess Quest games in Security Breach, the red Old Man tells the Princess to rest. Maybe the first visit in Candy Cadet's story represents Princess Quest 1 (which, if you remember, was originally in Help Wanted's mobile port, which was some time before Security Breach), and the second visit represents Princess Quest 2 and 3. I don't fully know what this interpretation would mean for the lore, but it's something worth considering.
Also, the message "This Custom Night is just for you" could be indicating that the custom night minigames aren't canon, they're just for us, as in the player. If that's true, then the only animatronics we see in the Sister Location bunker while we have the mask off are Yenndo, who you can easily argue was left behind, and Circus Baby. Her being there is still toigh to explain but it's at least easier than all of the Funtimes being there.
Something really interesting that I noticed and I think maybe MAY be important is the fact that the bot that gave cassie the mask seems to be the same or one of the same bots that gave Gregory the maps, and it always struck me as odd how much emphasis they put specifically on the way the map bot would appear and insist so much for Gregory to take a map, as if they really wanted him to take it. Andt his is just a theory, but I think if we take into account that MAYBE part of the events of Help Wanted 2 were before the PizzaPlex was destroyed, there might be a slight possibility that Cassie's dad was already possesing mapbot, who later became the one who ended up giving Cassie the mask. To me this would explain why the mapbot always acted so insistent for Gregory to take the maps, because he and Cassie are friends, and therefore he also wanted to protect or even warn Gregory of what would happen.
People still thought that sun/moon's name is sundrop and moondrop????? When those names only appeared on obvious ads for a candy to put you to sleep, or wake you up - a candy drop if you will
Unused Vanny dialogue from the game reveals Vanny wanted to stop the remnants of glitchtrap from escaping again. Of course in the true ending we fail and glitchtrap uses us to set up ruin.
Thank you so much for encouraging people to stop throwing around the term retcon, I feel like a lot of people don't understand that the story of the steel wool games has been pretty clearly planned out ahead of time and just assume everything new introduced is a retcon. Because that's how a lot of creative stuff works, you plan out your long term story and then it takes a while to tell because you have a lot of things to make. We're not in the days of Scott thinking every game was going to be the last one anymore, this is a studio that knows they are making an ongoing IP and, just to use an example, things like the mimic program are meant to explain what Glitchtrap always was because we didn't have the full answers in the first place, not a new story element out of nowhere that retcons what people thought Glitchtrap was. People act like they only work on one games story at a time when these things are clearly being made concurrently and there are a lot of other cogs turning in the franchise too. People still think the Mimic is a book character put into the games when those books were never supposed to come out before Ruin. But when you delay a game, you can't just delay your book deal to match. As for the actual theory side of the video, when it comes to the various time periods the game seems to take place over, like fall fest and the sister location bunker I feel like we can't take these super literally? Cause if Cassie's dad is Bonnie Bro he would not have "looked like he had kids" during fall fest of 83 and especially not in fall fest of 1970. And even if he worked at the sister location bunker, he probably would not have been in the secret room and definitely wouldn't have seen ennard. These two locales also don't change between mask on and off, except for the carousel being on fire at the start of the hard mode game which it also was at the end of the normal mode game. I think these could be a combination of memories, both of the actual events and of the fnaf games, just kind of melded with his current experiences. Which begs the question: What was the fire at fall fest?
32:00 Glitchtrap is ALREADY in the Mimic endo. All glitchtrap is, is the Mimic's programming that has infected another system. The Mimic already has that same programming inside it.
The name Jeremy is notorious for showing up, and not every Jeremy is the same guy. But if it’s implied that Bonnie Bro is cassie’s dad, or at least the man we’re playing as, and he’s intrinsically tied to the fnaf locations/history somehow, I think it’d be interesting to rethink theories where Michael has been most security guards, since it was Jeremy who was the guard for fnaf 2. It’s always been Mike and Jeremy.
My theory is that you play as Cassie's dad and it is revealed that he as been a technician ever since Sister Location. It definitely makes sense that Cassie's dad started working with Fazbear Entertainment at an early age since he was best friends with the founder's son. I really like the idea of Monty not being in the game because Cassie's dad didn't want anything to do with him so they had a different technician work on him instead.
I think an issue this video (and others) seem to have, is people forgetting what Help Wanted 2 is. The lobby itself - it's real, albeit with AR features due to the mask. But the minigames are quite literally executables we select on a computer infront of us in the restaurant - it's just loading minigames in the mask. The game heavily implies that THIS MASK was the same headset used by Vanessa for Help Wanted that Glitchtrap was inside - he's still in there, as the little plushie we left him as. We see it in the ending. Fazbear (Or Vanny) wiped Help Wanted from the headset and replaced it with this Job Sim, possibly to try and merge Glitchtrap with new Fazbear employees. So no, Scrap Baby, Lefty and Pigpatch aren't alive in a seemingly not-at-all burned FFPS Office, Circus Baby, Ballora and the Funtimes aren't somehow alive at the same time as Ennard during Security Breach, and no that Carousel isn't a real Carousel from the 1970s. It's all games on the computer. It's exactly what it was said to be. It's a job simulation game.
I agree big time, especially since we are ALWAYS wearing the mask after we get out of a minigame, so we are obviously putting the mask back on at some point, assuming it's right before the game boots up makes sense as to how we go through all these scenarios even when they seem disconnected (especially SL of course.)
29:38 About the grave order.. I was thinking that might be the order the deaths were discovered? Really weird, but it would make sense, I think. If Charlotte/Charlie(?)’s body was disposed of, the puppet may have been the only think linked to her death, or perhaps, the killings themselves. More or less, the last piece of the puzzle. I don’t really know though, I do think that the death order thing may be true, but it seems out of place for the puppet. Extremely out of place. Maybe it’s through the last piece of the puzzle, being the puppet, that Henry figured out she was killed. Maybe there was something left on the puppet to give away the killer. Like I said, the last piece of the puzzle. If you have that last piece, everything finally falls into place.
Moon also mentions wanting to stay somewhere because it feels safe, almost word for word like Baby, establishing a strange connection between them. Also, I would classify the plushies as effigies, which is it's own kind of ominous. As for Princess Quest, It does feel like Vanny killing Glitchtrap to me, but becoming her own entity. Compared tot he ending of Help Wanted, you're not in a steel prison with bloody scratch marks on the door. You're in a game full of plushies, that don't look very threatening. And honestly Vanny looks almost friendly as she waves and disappears. But I also see it as Vanessa trading her Vanny mask in for the plushie, reclaiming herself, to destroy him. Which aligns somewhat with the candy cadet tale. As a STRETCH theory, it's possible Vanessa was breaking free during Special Delivery, with her questionable searches and Luis trying to draw her out and therapists getting through to her. Then Patient 46, who we know was GGY, manipulated her, and I think pulled her back in, further mirroring the story of the boy in the woods. I think in a time we haven't seen yet, the Balloon Boy game was beaten, releasing Gregory from his control, and immediately leading into Security Breach. But that's just how I've been reading it.
I think the crane game ending is trying to point to Moon being the “system threat,” and this ties well to clues that vanny and moon are at odds to be glitchtraps servant. and this could also explain sun and moon’s conflict with each other
While I disagree with parts of this video, I feel like this is a step in the right direction of things. I think it’s vannessa but is represented by Vanny as it otherwise would be weird to see a giant white woman.
@@RyeToast It's worth noting that the animation Glitchrap has in Vanny's hand is him cowering. also a green smoke comes out of Vanny's hand after crushiing him.
I always thought Glamrock Chica was oddly important yet unaddressed. I mean, Roxy and Monty only call Gregory "kid" or "little guy". But from the very beginning, she knows and calls him by his his name. I thought at first that maybe she learned it via his Fazwatch messages with Freddy, but then Roxy and Monty would know his name too. So yeah, her hand being on the stage is nice. You have to be giving the VANNI mask to the old man, nothing else is exchanged to get the Glitchtrap plush otherwise. It is only a trade if you give him the mask to get the plush. OBJECTION! Moon does not call YOU naughty. He says nothing to you, just waits for you to give him the plush. He ONLY says "Naughty, naughty." when he deposits the Glitchtrap plush into the prize slot. So he is likely calling the Glitch plush naughty or possibly Vanny herself.
I wonder how long Steel Wool is going to lead us along to not give us any answers. I'm tired of each game answering one or two questions and then introducing a million more questions with little guidance.
I miss when the games had a clear story and the questions were raised by the details around the main story. Scott always did that, and SteelWool really nailed it with Help Wanted, but they haven't been able to replicate it with the newer games. Makes me sad.
6:47 people have theorized that nightmarionne is the FNAF universe’s embodiment of death which these plushies can be found in hidden around the pizzaplex in security breach meaning that death is always looming
Just remember, this game hasn’t been out for even a week and we still need more time to dissect this game and its lore. Of course theories now might be a bit confusing but it’s ok, this game is still fresh out the oven and we just need to do more searching.
You're one of the Theorists I was waiting for to break this game down and I was right to do so. First of all, big ups to you for adding your Candy Cadet correction (NEVER apologize for the Snuggie! Snuggies are timeless and awesome!) because lots of folks would either make a whole other video or leave the correction in a pinned comment, both of which are valid but I really liked the real time correction. It makes you not just a good Theorist but a great Theorist! Second of all, as for timeline placement, like you, I think it's a mashup of right before Security Breach and the era before Ruin when the Pizzaplex wasn't Ruined just abandoned. That idea is due to Roxy's mask scene, which had me SHOOK in the best ways! I'm so used to FNAF constantly correcting itself, I didn't think her Masked face in Ruin could be a proper plot point, hence me agreeing wholeheartedly with your Retcon PSA. As for the Sister Location and FFPS animatronics and locations being in the mix, I think it could be because of the VANNI mask using the knowledge gained from the scanned circuitboards to be like the FNAF 3 Phone Guy training recordings. I'm so here for the player being Cassie's Dad AND the idea of him being the Bonnie Bully from The Bite of 83. If William didn't kill the other Bullies after dealing with Michael, then all of them have to live with the guilt of murdering Evan. That sort of guilt never goes away and he'd want to do whatever he could for penance. Plus, as you mentioned, it would be a helluva full circle tragedy with him getting killed after figuring out what fresh hell was going on and leaving Cassie alone. Then, Cassie ends up trapped and alone in the depths of the Pizzaplex in mortal peril from the same kind of machine that killed the little kid that he should've protected instead of bullied. As long as William Afton himself remains in UCN, I'm down for whatever they do with Glitchtrap, Vanny, and the Mimic. I'd love to see them battle it out. Vanny already got a win over Glitchtrap but Glitchtrap isn't just gonna be gotten rid of so easily. I'd love to see a battle of the mind control with Glitchtrap and Vanny before a physical battle with Vanny and The Mimic. Once her suit comes off, Mimic will definitely remember that Vanessa was one of the ones who trapped him and he'd want to make sure it never happened again. I don't know, I'm just so happy that Help Wanted 2 is being received well and Steel Wool keeps improving with every FNAF game. I think the future of the franchise is in good hands.
I feel like the fire in FNAF 6 only made the spirits move on, but the robots are still there. That could be why scrap baby is still there, moving with her original programming
Is it just me or does the second stort perfectly summarize Michael's story? Think about it: lead astray by a voice (Baby) gets scarred (scooped), then comes back for revenge (the original trilogy and burning down the locations and also fnaf 6), gets lured by a boy (maybe Henry but i'm not 100% on that) and gets trapped in the oven (fnaf 6 fire). That's just Michael's story.
Unless I'm not seeing them correctly, Circus Babys eyes when she gives you the ice cream are green. We aren't talking to Circus baby, we're talking to Elizabeth.
In the princess quest ending in hw2, glitchtrap's animation (someone pulled it from the files) clearly looks like he is resisting being crushed by vanny, as he puts his hands up and pushes back. Vanny might not have taken him.
Another clue that we are playing as Cassie’s dad is the Faz Force collectibles. We all know how much Cassie’s Dad was a collector, maybe this was how he got lured in: with the false idea that he would not complete his collection (live a fulfilling life) without these Faz Force robots.
Is it possible that the endings are not one or the other, but are in sequence? The plushies are CasDad helping Vanessa help destroy Glitchtrap (possibly using sister location tech built into SunMoon) then being trapped inside the system and seeing the mimic wake up from the charger? Also: if CasDad is Bonnie Mask, that could be a different reason for MXES to be a rabbit.
I know this doesn't line up with the timeline, but what if Cassie's dad was the boy with the bonnie mask on when Michael put his brother in Fredbear? and that's why Bonnies mask looks familiar to him. Edit: if I would've just watched for literally one more minute then I would've seen that he was gonna make this point too 💀
Honestly, The sister location Animatronics could just be the replicas from ar, especialy because there is a normal baby and scrap baby at the same time, and the fact that baby acts wierd (she says she likes being in the bunker and dosen't kill you with the ice cream)
I think the girl from the Candy Cadet story could actually be referring to Baby. She was damaged (either by the fire of FNaF 6, or by whatever process she took to turn into Scrap Baby) and was lured back by a boy (Michael Afton, or in this game's case, Cassie's dad) and the oven is shut (Vanny crushing the last of the Afton/Baby code that was left at the very end of the Princess Quest ending). I believe the code at the end wasn't exactly William Afton, but the remainder of Baby's code the "bad part" inside of her, or the part that refers to Elizabeth Afton as "her" and not "me". This also makes sense why Baby actually is behind you in the title screen: this is the story of you the boy luring her in and delivering her to the witch while she's asleep (she's in a powerless digital form, not a body). Edit: There's also a possibility that Cassie's dad might be part of the Helpy program during Ruin like he's become integrated with the MXES system, this would explain why Helpy suddenly is dressed like a technician and how we can see through the eyes of the map bot in the ending.
@@arandomguywitharandomname4187 exactly, there's too many indications that push the idea that Help Wanted 2 is supposed to be about Baby. Not to mention that the level "Job Interview" is likely referring to how Vanessa got her job as a night guard. Perhaps Baby was the one that helped get her the job.
I would like to point out that when you put the mask on infront of mask bot. He has a brain, so it would make sense if Cassie's dad got put into the staff bot.
perhaps some of the segments are just recordings? you do access them through a computer after all, so maybe vanny was researching the funtimes or something like that. just food for thought
12:24 Is he referring to the fact that Cassie's dad, as we can assume the player to be, was the only human working at the Pizzaplex? That would be the single largest distinguishing factor between him and the robotic workers at the establishment, so I guess that's what would "make him so special"
I love how honest you are and you make references and promote people to go watch and look at the things you are referencing ourselves rather then just showing it and putting it in the description.
HARD agree with the retcon psa- it’s frustrating to not know all of the answers, but we have to trust steel wool has an intention behind the order we are recieving information!
I think the first Candy Cadet Story is about "Afton and Henry" and the way they destroyed their lives and families, making Fazbear's "cursed". It is the Past in summary.
Counterpoint that I hope you see to the code being the MCI order. Not only what you said about the puppet making zero sense being last, but based in help wanted one pizza party, based on some animatronics having party hats, the order would be Susie, Bonnie Freddy, and then expanding on that, in Security breach, in the daycare gift shop based on the colored balloons on the wall it was chica, Bonnie Freddy, foxy, golden Freddy if you want more info, I can go into more detail in reply’s
Balloons on a wall are proof now? Maybe they just put freddy characters colored balloons on the wall of a gift shop, because its in a freddys location?
I’ll never understand why people are so desperate to put Charlie’s death later. None of the other animatronics are possessed without her. It’s one of the only straight answers Scott’s given us in the series’ history.
@@dalooneylass5561 in the final mini game of the original Fnaf VR we see Bonnie and Chica with party hats on hinting that they have already been stuffed, then in SB there are numbered balloons on the wall with some being colored, one is blank two is purple three is blank four is red and five is gold so based on those two instances, it would seem chica’s first, which we know then Bonnie based on both the balloons and the party hat, then Freddy, then foxy, then golden Freddy
@@jc_art_ they are numbered partially colored balloons that seemed to correlate with previous evidence. I’ll paste an answer I gave somebody else below. in the final mini game of the original Fnaf VR we see Bonnie and Chica with party hats on hinting that they have already been stuffed, then in SB there are numbered balloons on the wall with some being colored, one is blank two is purple three is blank four is red and five is gold so based on those two instances, it would seem chica’s first, which we know then Bonnie based on both the balloons and the party hat, then Freddy, then foxy, then golden Freddy
It’s not just the Bonnie plushie that you get at Bonk-A-Bon that gives you an achievement. I think it is the first one of those that you get, I watched MatPat’s playthrough and he got the Ballora one first and got the achievement.

So dissapointed this game was broken on pimax headsets. This would've been so fun to play through and find myself!!
i think the nightmere plushies are a teaser for saying that this is all a nightmere that was after our player went to bed in fnaf 4 (because its the only fnaf with a child and a bed)
I am wondering if Jeremy is one of the crying child's brothers friend
I think for me I'll be really sad if we AREN'T Cassie's dad, because that first ending is SO narratively powerful if we are. It's the kind of tragedy that the Frights books tend to lean into-- her dad being trapped inside a staff bot, her having no idea that it's him, one interaction where he's possibly dooming his kid forever but he doesn't have a say in it. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Sad 😢
I'm pretty sure this is true. As a matter of fact,Cassie's dad and the bonnie mask are dead, give away that her dad got corrupted or captured by the mimic/glitch trap virus since the bonnie mask in ruin is bugging out.😮😢
@@Friend-wz8kv oh holy crap that's a GREAT callout to make!!

As he should.
Low key my favorite character. All for it.
Plus, the name in the stage for the scene is celebrate, as we should celebrate that we are reunited with our daughter
It has the glorious implication that you NEVER leave Freddy’s.
@@rozar7673 Not bad. That adds another dimension to Cassie's Dad. First, William killed his brother then he killed him. Symmetry, my friend!
Agreed. I'd like to add that I REALLY hope we see more of glamrock Bonnie as well.
It helps that the pizzaplex is so large so there are always new things to modify/discover/create.

With the candy cadet stories, it seems like Vanessa was able to overcome glitchetraps control but has returned to help Gregory in stopping the mimic. The ending with Vanny seems to show that you were able to catch glitchtrap and Vanny then destroys him. (Most likely not the cannon ending however but does show that Vanessa’s new intentions are to stop glitchtrap)
true, or maybe Vanny gets gltichtrap and destroys it but he's too far into the AR world that he can't go back and is an unfortunate sacrifice
What about the scarring?
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Vanessa still has flashes or moments where Vanny comes to the forefront.
I think its implies there was a third family apart from Henry and William that had an opportunity to join into the fazbear brand, however they turned it down and then their carnival mysteriously burned down
Edwin Murray?
Spiff was so mad. He was really hyped for Mystic Hippo and that just made his disappointment that much more immeasurable and ruined his day.
She does say ‘what makes you so special’, bringing the total of characters who say that line to 3
I felt bad for Spiff, he really did everything he and his chat could possibly conceive of before they finally found out it was Just eye tracking
The fact that she's only there when you have the mask on is interesting. She technically doesn't exist in reality.
Nah Charlie is the first
@@SubZero-hs9xc that doesn't have to be true.
Henry is not trustworthy at all.
Yeah but what's the point in speculating yet when we have so little info about it to even make a theory
@@davidkonevky7372 I'm not saying to start writing speculative fiction or anything, I just think it's hasty to write it off as filler
I agree. Family gets a great deal and doesn't take it and dies. I think this is Henry's family since his lefty look alike animatronic are at fall fest and it's burning.
@Shark-Fist but fnaf isn't usually known for just giving out freebies and that story just feels so disconnected from everything he's ever said
At this point, I'm convinced the nightmarionne plushes are just visual easter eggs and don't mean too much. They're just a neat thing to spot, they are way too weird to have lore relevance.
Edit: The Remember Jeremy trophy is not tied to the Bonnie doll specifically, it unlocks from any of the plushes being found.
Okay good to know thank you
I’d agree with you if this was any other game franchise. It’s definitely a possibility though
Nightmarionne pretty clearly represents death in some way, being opposed to the marionne who represents life. I dont know what exactly it means, maybe something like "The character is about to die", but this really feels like something with a meaning.
It’s such an insanely specific character to keep picking, and for three games in a row now. It has to mean something
If Adventure Time taught me anything growing up, while things can be random or appear arbitrary at first, symbolism always finds its way DOWN to the roots where the true meaning is buried, well that and the visual gags/background visuals that ALWAYS come BACK around in FUN and EVENTFUL ways!!~

Monty is in the files, he was supposed to appear, but his level got cut or something. At least in the base game, hopefully he'll appear a dlc

I think you might be along the right path

@lunaokubo7761 your English was completely perfect in that sentence don't worry.
That's been pretty much accepted by the community for the most part
Imagine that matches up with the lil family of staff bots in Security Breach with the ballora bot. Just every family member turns into a staff bot LOL
The freaking Chica hand/glove/whatever is giving me flashbacks to "In FNAF 2, why does Toy Chica lose her beak?" and I HATE IT

True! I get why people think we play as Cassie’s dad but we don’t know for sure until it’s revealed, I think It’s just storytelling that we, whoever we play as, is A Fazbear Employee and a father with kids.
Yeah, just finished the video and MAN did IT go HARD.
( Keep it up Rye! )
You have a nice, organized way of following FNaF's narrative, thanks for sharing that with the FNaF's community.
(side note, when you go in the BurnTrap room in Ruin, it’s pretty intact, nothing like it is at the end of the Afton or true or two star or burn- who cares ending)
I think Vanny being there, and being enormous is telling.
Few other things to note
1. When you get a gutter in Bonnie bowl, the screen shows Bonnie being crushed by Monty, taking his place
2. The missing kid order from princess quest aligns with the graves in fnaf 6, with Charlie in the back left
3. What if after the bite, Jeremy (theorized to be the Bonnie bully) worked with silver Parasol and as a fazbear technician and got possessed by Glitchtrap, cutting off his face (just like withered Bonnie now that I think of it)
I mean the kid that possesed Bonnie might actually be the Brother of Cassie's dad?
I personally think the first half is Ruin, ending with her escaping but being left permanently injured.
I’m thinking the “remember Jeremy” achievement you got from collecting the Bonnie rag doll just appears no matter which rag doll you collect first in your play through.
big issue with that is that both SL and pizza sim animatronics show up in "hard mode", i prefer the idea that it's just different points in time of the char's career instead of being literal minigame taking place at the same time
@@Sopsy_Hallow nice guess
29:21 that makes sense since one of Chica’s voice lines is: “I was the first, I have seen everything” implying she was the first to die
I've seen SO many SFM, fan games and fanarts that Circus Baby's model feel normal to me.
imo i think the "timeline placement" is a bit more complex
obviously parts are after SB and before ruin, and some parts are before SB or "during" SB (as in like, functioning pizzaplex),
but i also think a lot of the other minigames are through different points in time of the main char's career at fazbear ent
we work
-at SL as a technitian before micheal goes there; which explains why functioning funtimes are there and why ennard is kinda easy, it would've been one of the first times they try to escape (in SL circus baby does say that they've "been out before" so i can imagine them doing the ennard thing a few times before) and they're not as capable or desperate yet as they are in the alt ending of SL
-at FNAF6; in a backroom practicing medical aid, i dont think this is micheals office, probably just a similar room attached to the vent network, explains why lefty and scrap baby are there without saying they never got destroyed
-at the pizzaplex during operation; plenty of functioning pizzaplex stuff with relatively undamaged glamrocks/daycare attendent
-at the pizzaplex post-collapse; shattered animatronics and broken down enviroment, we give roxy her security node mask
and most interestingly,
-at fallfest 83; with the fazerblast carnival, and the carousel, which seem to be connected as fazerblast/the festival burns down which u can see during carousel ( i suppose it could be a different fallfest but it its the only one we know of)
I think a lot of people are very quick to assume the minigames are actually happening, when in the lobby we are quite literally just loading games from the computer into the VANNI mask. They aren't actually happening all at the same time
@@OrtonLongGaming we're accessing files on the computer sure but we're not loading them into the AR mask, because thats not how the VANNI mask is shown or said to work (it is AR, not VR) and also we play some of the same games in the hardmode that has you explicitly take off the VANNI mask to access
you can make the argument that they are recordings or smth sure, but i dont think you can just attribute everything to the VANNI mask even when it contradicts how that mask works
Here’s a theory about Cassie’s dad:
I think that in some way, the person we play as (I believe it’s Cassie’s dad) has lost their memory and is either the last one left by accident (after the other workers got replaced or killed) or maybe on purpose to go back and try to fix some things from his past.
I think the minigames are all created by the mask, so we aren't really being attacked by the sister location characters just projections of the mask
That's possible, but some are accessible without it
@@RyeToast and without the mask we still see them as minigames on a computer screen.

Bro nailed it!
The way this is laid out is so fire, an eerie af! Love this narrative.
Baby has to be Glitchtrap/Mimic because she has way too much influence over the system.
29:38
About the grave order..
I mean it's weird either way, but I get that
@@RyeToast It's worth noting that the animation Glitchrap has in Vanny's hand is him cowering.
also a green smoke comes out of Vanny's hand after crushiing him.
Once the questions are answered we will lose interest in the fandom.
The PQ4 mini game had important lines for Vanny that they cut AGAIN
That's every FNAF game ever though
@@LunaWitcherArtthe games never had a clear story what are you on lol
So Cassie's dad was stuck in the ruined pizzplex, he gave Roxy mask, he meets Ruined DJ, he left the marks on the walls, like in Plush Babys room...
Also: if CasDad is Bonnie Mask, that could be a different reason for MXES to be a rabbit.
the achievement "remember jeremey" isnt specified for the tilt bonk a bon grafiti you just unlock it the first time you get a voodoo plush
I know this doesn't line up with the timeline, but what if Cassie's dad was the boy with the bonnie mask on when Michael put his brother in Fredbear? and that's why Bonnies mask looks familiar to him.
Edit: if I would've just watched for literally one more minute then I would've seen that he was gonna make this point too
💀
Lol no worries. That's actually the premise for this week's video
The fact that every game so far spams plush babies and nightmarrione ones is indeed a huge hint
I Feel Like These Games Just Keep Retelling Us What We Already Know Especially With Candy Cadet And His Stories
The wording on this post is confusing me. Can you please clarify what you mean?

It’s not just the Bonnie plushie that you get at Bonk-A-Bon that gives you an achievement. I think it is the first one of those that you get, I watched MatPat’s playthrough and he got the Ballora one first and got the achievement.
