Pebbles as a character has me going completely ballistic.
The fact that a game with barely any dialogue for the vast majority of its gameplay can have some of the most interesting, morally complex, and well written characters is actually so funny and I'm going to completely lose it forever about this.
They are just really, really good at the world building and at the same time, they gave us so little.
for real i feel so bad for him and also can relate and hes so not perfect even though hes a massive calculator and those usually depict as perfect
and his relationship with moon and srs is so heartbreaking
I kind of relate to Pebbles a bit. There have been many times in the past where I felt like all I did was a screw up over and over.
That I was a failure doomed to be forgotten…An average joe who couldn’t even do anything right.
Plus I have aspergers.
Pebbles most likely doesn’t but something gives me the strong feeling that he does.
@@TheSandwhichman108 A lot of "tells" for artificial intelligence are also tells for autism. It's hard to make a well-written AI or robot character that isn't at least somewhat neurodivergent coded.
@@pixelbee8349 Still I like what they did with Pebbles and seeing his screw ups and regrets later on is absolutely heartbreaking…And very relatable.
Who hasn’t felt like no matter how close you get you somehow screw up in the end…We’ve all done things we’re not proud of…because of that I think we all can connect with Pebbles on a personal level.
This is great. I appreciate the juxtaposition between Pebbles self-aggrandizing versus Saints sad actuality.

To be fair, it was his goal to find a way to ascend, to the point of inflicting the rot upon himself incidentally. Saint gave him what he wanted. He wasn't alone in the end, and he got to reunite with Moon. Evolved into being a tragic character and got to rest in the end. [:
