Just a correction here, as I have been fiddling with my range. The first button you press is the amount of time you want to cook the food in the oven, it is not the future start time. The second button you press sets the end time. So if I set the Cook time to 30 mins and set it to end at 4:45 the oven will start at 4:15. If you don't set an end time it will immediately start the oven and shut it off after 30 min, if that is the cook time you set. In the example you gave to start it two hours from now you are actually setting it to cook for two hours Starting at 9:02 which will end at 11:02. Also, at the 2:05 mark in the video you are setting it to cook for 2 minutes to end at 8:48, that is why it started at 8:46 to end at 8:48 since the Cook time was two minutes. In all honesty this video had me very confused until I realized the correct way to use the automatic function on the oven. Definitely appreciate the time and effort you put in this video, but it may be misleading to many people who may over or under bake things with the directions from this video. Thanks.
So grateful for your video. Every year we go from winter to summertime, I do not know how to change the timer. Once I just pressed all buttons and incidentally set a timer for 5 minutes and when I put my cake in the oven, it went out after 5 minutes, I got crazy as I had invited many people and thought that the oven was broken. I had just wrongly pushed the buttons 😂. So now, I always refer to your video! Thanks again!

ours is dual, gas top electric below - the fan is loud but it only comes on when its cooling after a high heat back for about 5-7 minutes.. its not crazy.. does bother me a little when running :/
The fan inside the oven that comes on during convection cooking is pretty quiet. The cooling fan that is between the oven and the stove top is loud. Definitely the loudest oven fan I have heard. And blows a lot of warm air through the vents underneath the control knobs. The higher the temperature the oven is set the sooner the fan comes on.
Also the internal cooling fan, when it turns on, it affects the burner flames. They blow around creating less heat and sometimes blow out. It’s tremendously annoying and also loud. The convection fan is also louder than most. I hate this oven so much.
Have your brass knobs dulled or darkened any since your purchase? I have purchased one for a new construction home and worried the brass might be too bright.

I dont know how they can design burners that sometimes struggle to light, used stoves since the 80s without a single problem.. amazes me, ive sene this across many brands of stoves, lighting AND burning issues, bosch, etc- beyond me how things can get designed to be worse than the older ones..

If you live in a smaller city/town keep that in mind before making a purchase, as if I can't get immediate help from them, you will likely have less luck. Also the oven vents to the front just above the oven doors, who thought that was a good idea in engineering? The burners run hot, so to simmer, you'll need simmer plates. So I'm not loving mine thus far.
thats a bummer - ours actually doesnt seem to vent much at all, its ALOT more contained than our prev one, if u used the oven the whole kitchen would warm up - not the Ilve, the fans run till its cooled .. no other complaints apart from trying to keep it from looking clean.. we got brass knobs on burgundy (burgundy being our least fav color, but for some reason the two work great imo). We live next to LA - but hopefully we wont need anyone soon, plus im handy - might as well diy if something comes up. Italy is a far way away-

Our's has finally settled in, but we have just learned to live with its quirks and limitations and work around them as best we can. Had to buy a new refrigerator and dishwasher recently and went completely mainstream.
We've had nothing but problems with ours. We made the HUGEST MISTAKE of ordering from "Appliances Connection" in New York, we live in San Diego in March of 2020. The first 2 years, until the extended warranty kicks in, we have left trying to deal with the people at Appliances Connection. I have made literally 50 calls them, they bounce you around and don't care. Filed complaints with NY Attorney General, BBB. We are 66 years old, this was suppose to be a splurge and it has been a nightmare. It didn't work for the first two weeks, when the pandemic started, they took our old stove, we had no stove for the first two weeks of the pandemic. And there NO ONE in San Diego can work on this, we've had two or three people not even show for their service call. One guy said nothing is wrong with it. VERY UNHAPPY WE BOUGHT THIS. Incidentally, the BBB has over 500 complaints, and has issued an "alert" for Appliances Connection.

I think Ilve is WAaaaaaY overrated and Appliance Connection is awful at service. This is the worst stove/range I've ever owned. - the ranges are bowed in the middle - oil pools to the inner sides of the pans while frying. Ilve says this is "NORMAL" - the burners have NO control - mostly too hot - you cannot make rice without burning the bottom of the pan. - the oven temps are all over the place set it to 200F, get 250F, set it to 450F get 400F. - the built-in "oven cooling fan" BLOWS OUT the range burners if they are on. So using the oven and the range at the same time is nearly impossible. - the center burner is undersized and doesn't heat the griddle evenly. I cook everyday and have used many ranges: GE, Wolf, Viking, Samsung, Thermador, etc. I've never experienced anything like this. I could never have imagined how much I regret this purchase. Oh and the support is non-existent. I've spent many many hours over the past 6 months trying to get help, only to receive non-solutions for these problems because the units are terribly designed and terribly built. Do not buy.

These things are built poorly - thin gauge metal, cheap screws, poorly designed burners. This is a bad appliance. It looks pretty, but that's it. The service tech who came to us said he only really sees them in kitchens of folks who don't cook. We cook, and it sucks.

We made the mistake of buying from Appliances Connection in New York.. the place we would later find out has over 500 complaints and the BBB has issued an "alert". It's been hell trying to get any support, logging dozens upon dozens of call.
so far loving it - the oven light went out but that was prob form international freight - replaced it and no concerns. its very attractive (for us at least) - we have a 1920 house and slowly making everything inside semi era correct with a touch of modernity - watch the darn thing blow this week from typing this :)

Have had mine for 10 months. 3 service calls to replace 4 parts already. Very unhappy with the purchase.

This is so backwards. You should be able to set a time for the oven to turn on and then cook for certain number of minutes.
Agreed I tried to follow the instructions its ridiculous honestly.
