Was it... like I said that one was not something I would have noticed... but I just looked and sure enough my PL 6 has it on one. Maybe I misunderstood the conversation I got that from. (or maybe earlier releases of PL6 had it different?) I will pin this one so hopefully people will see it and not cause confusion.
I spent about 12 hours trying Photolab 7 and PureRAW 3 with LR 5.7. They did a good job for the first hour, then they bombed, either by rejecting perfectly good files with an error message or doing something to prevent LR from exporting the (corrected) image. I also find it strange that LR would let me save files as tiffs prior to using DxO; now I can only safe jpgs.
Obviously hard to know as there are so many variables... But sounds a little more like Lightroom issue. Once the file is back with Lightroom I wouldn't expect any influence from photolab or pure Raw... But again so many variables. As for sending non raw files to pl... What is your workflow there? It is certainly possible but if you use the advised flow... It should send raw files. You can check dxo.com for some workflow guidance for both programs. Good luck.

Thanks for some nice additional detail. I notice that when Vibrancy is available the Luminance and Uniformity are not and vice versa. I think the now-you-see-'em-now-you-don't CPs/masks will take some getting used to but not a big issue compared to removing the local controls. BTW I haven't seen any mention of changes to the DAM features this time? Is it unchanged?
Yeah. It is like slightly different conditions for whole image vs individual colours, isn't it. That situation with Luminance and Uniformity are the same in PL6. if you are on the white dot (representing whole colour information) the Luminance and Uniformity are also greyed out and only appear when a channel is active - which kind of makes sense. On the other hand I am not sure why we cannot impact the vibrance of a colour selection... but truly, that is fine. I am sure there is a technical reason for that one. As for the cleaner local space, I have quite quickly come to vastly prefer it... but I still need to think my way through it... where as the old way was on auto-pilot. But I will get there with this too. :) and no... I have not seen anything about DAM... though a few weeks ago I did about 1000 shots from a local stage show and I wanted to apply volume deformation to the ones shot on 24mm where there were people near the edge of the frame. I was able to so quickly pull up the images from that day at 24mm. I don't always use that level of Search but wow did it work well.
Thank you! Am I correct in noticing that for a full image without local adjustments in the HSL tool, when you select a white color zone, the color picker becomes unavailable? I understood that it becomes available with the same action performed in the local setting.
Interesting. I just checked. It is available on Windows and unavailable on Mac. There are interestingly some small differences between the Windows and Mac versions... including both UI and functionality.
global in lens correction changed to 1.0 was even in PL6 recent releases
