Disney Bucket List Staycation Day 2! | Halloween At Magic Kingdom, Spooky Fun Characters & More!

In today’s vlog we continue our Disney bucket list staycation at the Polynesian Village Resort! We have some breakfast on the patio from Capt. Cooks and then we get ready for some Halloween fun at Magic Kingdom. Jackson got sick so we had to push our day back a little bit but then we try again and we end up at the park later in the day. We had so much fun seeing all the Fall and Halloween decorations, characters in their Halloween costumes and more new merch! We saw the Mickey and friends cavalcade, the Disney villains cavalcade, and the Nightmare Before Christmas cavalcade. Jackson even got to see his friend Oogie Boogie in real life, which was so exciting! On our way out of the park we also get to see Winnie the Pooh and friends in their super cute Halloween costumes. Then we head back to the room and get some dinner from Kona Cafe and we also check out the brand new Olu Mel merchandise in the Bou-tiki! When my son was Jacksons age he got sick(completely covered) at animal kingdom. When I was frantically trying to buy a new outfit including shoes a cast member gave us the ENTIRE OUTFIT for free. I was blown away. My was actually cried at their generosity. We are now annual pass holders and DVC owners. #forevergrateful

A few years ago we went to visit a cousin in the college program and as we ran around in her small bit of time off my mother started to get hit with the heat and near fainting. I went running into a place panicking for water during prime lunch time with a huge line. I just locked eyes with a cast member and declared "my mother is going to faint, I need water quick" and not only did they drop everything and run me water but everyone in line let me slide around. I was touched because it wasn't just the workers but the guests too who just understood and let it go. Eventually the man even brought out a cool towel too, which we didn't even request.
It's memories like that, amongst others, that break my heart regarding how awful it is how many people there are out of work.
My son was 9mths old during last trip in 2017. We ran out of Formula. We were staying at All star sports. They ran out of their supply, but they CALLED around to Music and Movies to find some. Movie had some and put some on Side for me while I walked over from Sports
Jen is such a great mother, you can tell how happy jackson makes her.

going to Disney World, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios is on my Bucket List, Along with Going to Universal Studios, and Going on a Disney Cruise too, and Meeting The Disney Characters Too, Including Meeting Kylo Ren.
Imagine growing up thinking Magic Kingdom is your home town. That’s what your baby thinks. How wonderful!
I love how excited Jenn and Tim are about showing Jackson everything Disney. Right now , he's like "I don't know what this is but I love it " but he's gonna grow up with some many awesome and happy memories of these times at Disney with his parents ! He's such a cute lil fella❤️❤️❤️

That intro was the cutest!! Its like Jackson knew its time to go to Disney! i appreciate so much how real you guys keep it in the vlogs and showing what its actually like with a kid going to Disney. You guys were always meant to be parents to Jackson and he is so lucky to have you two!

I love seeing Jackson just waking up in the morning or from a nap. My girls are 11 and 13 now, but getting them up was always one of my favorite parts of the day because they were just so happy to see me. Lol. Babies are just so happy when they first wake up it's just too cute.

Crows are quite large actually, you are seeing some sort of black bird. Crows are big! And Jackson is definitely interested, you can tell by how he stares at the stimulus, or doesn't mind how the stroller is still as he is watching. Bored babies will look around more. He's taking it all in and is very focused :)

Jenn and Tim were SO happy to show Jackson around in Magic Kingdom - they are so sweet! They were more excited then Jackson - loved his chill attitude 😂 I’m normally like Jenn and Tim when I’m in Disney and I don’t even have a kid 😂 love this!
The backdrop with the rocks in the Grand Floridian lobby is for the Boutique! When it’s open, they usually have a photo pass photographer out to take pics of the princesses after their fairy godmothers finish

A little tip on buying baby shoes... the inside of their arms, from wrist to elbow pit is their foot size. Just hold the shoe up to their arm to check.
This actually goes for everyone!! Even as an adult, your foot is still the size from wrist to elbow! Cool little fun facts!

Made me laugh when Jenn said she looks weird taking the buggy on different movements to keep Jackson moving, it's not weird, it's normal, especially with a baby/toddler! It's like going to work with baby drool/breakfast on your clean clothes, it's to be expected! Love Ceri x
That small ‘crow’ is actually a Common Grackle! They are very pretty birds. I understand the crow comparison because they are very corvid-like in both looks and personality ;)
I love grackles, I call then trouble makers, they're so animated & funny!

i went to disney when i was 5 and still don't remember it.
Meaning he will remember who Mickey is or certain rides he sees when he continues to go again. Both our boys started going as babies and continued trips yearly and through seeing and taking it all in they continued to recognize and recall who and what they saw. He will remember and learn through what he is seeing. Didnt mean he will remember this exact specific trip. Babies are smart!
Thanks for taking us along on your staycations. For all of us who can't go to Disney World right now, your vlogs have been so enjoyable and, in a way, comforting. We also enjoy seeing Jackson growing up and experiencing new things. You both a doing a great job being parents!

My kids were both like that as babies: always wanting the stroller to keep moving. I’d stand still and just push it forward and pull it back, so back and forth and back and forth. Slightly less work than walking in a circle. 😂 They do outgrown it!
I remember watching the vlog of you guys answering questions and talking about not being able to ever have a baby and how you had tried everything. Watching this video makes me so happy. I love that you are parents. You're amazing with him. My heart is full.

My son was 3 the first time we took him to Disney and it was magical. I still remember his sweet little face when he met Woody for the first time. Just wait a couple of years and you will love Jackson's reactions to everything!❤️
Tim and Jenn - Stroller recommendation! We had the most cumbersome double stroller for our two littles when we first started taking them to the parks. Folding it and managing it on transportation (busses but ESPECIALLY trams were a nightmare) so we went about looking for strollers that specifically would meet our needs for the parks. We ended up finding and LOVING the Zoe strollers. They are so so easy to fold and carry. Even our double stroller is easy enough to get into a narrow tram row (for someday when trams are back in operation). We've had the same one stroller for regular daily use as well as our park outings that's going on 3 years. The canopy/shade is stellar - it goes almost all the way to their knees so they can lay back (the back reclines almost fully flat) and be shaded head to knees. The canopy has a little vent flap on the top as well as the back can be rolled up to have the back open to air. We've had our kiddos napping in August with a little fan blowing on them under the canopy and be cool enough that they aren't' sweating! The strollers also have carry straps, cup holders, snack holders, and rain covers you can buy separately. I can't praise the strollers enough! They have been godsend to us for daily use, but especially for the parks! Much easier than a stroller and umbrella Combo to ensure enough shade!

That path through liberty square into frontier land...interesting fact...the part that runs through the red path that appears brown,at the point where Tim says we're heading into frontier land...represents sewage,when,before sanitation people would pour their waste into the streets !! Neat little fog tip i have for all glass, car windows, glasses, cameras, mirrors exc.... Clean the glass with an alcohol wipe or glass clean (Windex but alcohol is better for glasses and your eyes) then smother and whip off Shaving cream, It prevents fog from building up on glass :) also good for those who wear glasses and have to go out with a mast, prevents the steam build up while you breath lol

Keep an eye on the eggs and vomiting. Before my son turned one I feed him eggs and he vomited very soon after eating them. He is actually allergic to eggs. 🤷🏼♀️ He can have them baked in food just not raw.
My friend's baby had the same reaction and it was some kind of temporary allergy, a very real reaction at this age but maybe not permanent. An important point here.
Came to say the same thing! My son thankfully outgrew his egg allergy at age 10. Baby hood, those were the vomit years. 😔
The Heat and the eggs definitely made him vomit why didn't you just stay home after he vomited the first time and of course once again no hat on baby

2:39 Hi Tim! These birds are called Grackles. The group can be distinguished from Corvids (crows and ravens) by their lankier build and the beautifully iridescent (oil slick) feathers in the males. They are often called "Parking lot birds" for reasons that are probably obvious if you live in Florida. I didn't want to be rude last time this was brought up, but since you asked this time I hope I could help :).
The Polynesian Luau was sooooo much fun!! My Dad was pulled up on stage to dance with the hula dancers!! Great memories!! 💐 🌸 🌺

Some babies get more sensitive to noise. I used to vacuum when mine was sleeping but he became more sensitive to it and it started to wake him up.
My mom said the same thing to my sister about my niece. My sister struggles and fights with my niece to go down for a nap, and my mom magically got her to fall asleep in her stroller at Magic Kingdom. She was three months shy of turning two at the time. I'm the childfree but loving Auntie so I stay out of it. ;)

I HIGHLY reccomend Taking Cara Babies sleep training! I have to wake my son up at the 3 hr mark for his nap or else he’d sleep all day lol and he sleeps 12 hrs straight at night! Best thing we ever did!

A few years ago my daughter and I stayed at the Polynesian. We used the TTC everyday. It was closer to Rapanui than the Poly station.
The bird is a grackle. The males sport a dark black/blue plumage, while the female are all brown. Its quite funny seeing a group of the men just squawking for one female actually lol
