Beijing Subway Line 17 opened its first southern section by the end of year 2021, which departs from the southeast edge of downtown Beijing at Shilihe, where loads of furnature markets and citizen living apartments are located at, all the way south-east outbound going underneath along the Beijing-Shanghai freeway, to the boarder of Yizhuang development district, which serves locals along the way. Despite Yizhuang is already served by a subway line since 2010, Line 17 travels much faster.
Then by the end of year 2023, the line opened a seperate section in the north, with its southern downtown-ward station located at Workers' Stadium which holds major sport events as well as concerts for the entire Beijing City, and is also located in several large shopping centers, as well as countless bars and restaurants. The line travels north, passing neighborhoods and satalite towns including Wangjing and Tiantongyuan, and eventually to Future Science City located faraway from the downtown. With its far distances between stations, the northern section brings passengers to the very outward from the very crowded downtown within half an hour.
The line is operated by Beijing MTR, equipping the line with an unclear amount of 8A-sized cars which provides wide and long riding spaces to accomodate huge riderships among rush hours.
As the door for the operators' room are non-transparent, this video could only be taken on a side window, filming the scenes of the station platforms. However, this line IS PROJECTED to become FULLY-AUTOMATIC in the future, allowing the segregation between the passengers' cabin and the operators' cab to be removed, so everyone have potential to witness the front view of this line somewhere in the future.

北京地铁17号线南北两段分别开通于2021及2023年年底。截止视频发布时止，全长40.7km，设16座车站。线路南起极具发展潜力的亦庄，以“大站快车”的美誉，沿京沪高速直达三环之边缘；北段起于市中心，集体育运动，音乐会，商业天街为一体的工体-三里屯核心区，途径太阳宫，望京，天通苑等“睡城”；只需半小时，乘客即可从热闹非凡的世界到达曾经远在天边，如今近在咫尺，集自然和科技人文为一体的未来科学城。
