Marvel fans were pumped when it was announced back in 2016 that Disney and Sony had struck a deal allowing Spider-Man to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland brought the web slinger to life in the MCU in Captain America Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home, Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame. But now it seems like some negotiations between Disney and Sony have gone south, because it was reported that Spider-Man will no longer be a part of the MCU moving forward, instead heading back over to being a fully Sony production. Although this could potentially lead to a team-up with Tom Hardy’s Venom, it also means that this incarnation of Spider-Man could step away from all his Marvel connections, and maybe even be rebooted in just a few years.

"Who cares"? SONY does because they paid for the movie rights. They paid for it and got it. Marvel signed off on it.
The MCU is a movie franchise, not the second coming of Christ. Disney doesn't deserve to just get Spider-Man back because of that. Sony and Marvel made a deal. Sony paid for the movie rights. It belongs to them. They don't have to hand him over at all.

Man, Ryan's writing is amazing. Within less than a day he was able to make a hilarious pitch meeting while hitting his tropes (I mean that in the best way possible). And considering the editing, wardrobe changes, and uploading. Man is a genius with comedy writing.

Disney did all the work, they produced it, they paid the actors, they directed it, they promoted it. Disney did 100% of the work. Disney lost money doing all the work while Sony got most of it and did nothing.
