With the crossover so high the top spring is going to go into coil bind before the spacer hits the crossover. I’m sure it is giving one hell of a thump when hitting big bumps or whoops when the top spring binds up.

How long is the rear spring ? I’m trying to do the fix tune in my 21 xrs turbo rr 4seater & i thought I did everything right & when I un jacked the Can Am, it looked more sagged than before.. what I do wrong ?

Don’t worry about the spring length as much. Measure your ride height and then turn the spring up to where you get the ride where it should be.

Shock therapy’s dual rate springs, worlds better upgrade!

There lowered from factory to meet the J turn test . They turn the wheels to full lock at 25or 30 mph and if one tire lifts off the ground it fails the test. Easy way to fix this is lower it. And deliver it that way . Also most sxs have ridiculous tire pressure specs that no one would use. Also use very stiff spring rates especially on skinnier machines. That test is on asphalt too.

My 22 xrs max, after 4 loaded trips to the dunes, hasn’t sagged any noticeably after 800ish miles, I was curious if anything for the 22s had changed

thats interesting. I'm sure the Maxs have different springs from the 2 seaters but seems odd the sag would be different over time.

I have the exact same 2022 XRS car and mine sits even lower. I will try this out tomorrow. Have you tried it on jumps? How did it feel?

Yeah you need to bring that thing up! It handles everything way better now. Jumps are definitely better as well. It seems to ride far better too.

@@discoverpowersports Awesome, thank you for the reply. I did the front today will the the rear tomorrow. Hopefully it rides as good as it looks again. Hadn’t realized how low my car had gotten.

The crossover ring gives you the ability to adjust when the shock package transfers from the smaller tender spring to the stronger main spring. If you’re aggressive in jumping etc you’d want it to transfer to the main spring sooner, if you want a softer ride, you want it to run on the smaller spring longer through the travel before going to the harder spring.
