This is so good! Honestly started playing during the crabcore era so I started on that flat setup but in the past couple months I started angling the Tom’s and cymbals and it was a game changer! Love this!
I'll add two from my experience: - Remember to worship, it's all well and good to play well, but we also need to praise the Lord, because that's who we are doing it for. - Enjoy the music! Don't let the technicalities of the song confuse you, or that bridge give you a headache, just keep going and keep enjoying.
@Churchfront In my opinion, when I listen to modern P&W songs, it sounds like the drummers are overplaying or playing to loudly, instead of just giving it a steady simple beat and it gets very distracting, and at times annoying to listen to... I always ask myself why they are doing this - it's not about them. Is this simply a style in modern P&W music?

Ekits and vsts are miles better than even a few years ago. I'd RATHER play an ekit plugged into SD3 in a worship setting.
