There is a woman in our group that sprayed black bedliner on her rock guards to cover up scratches on them. By the way, the dents come out of these rock guards with an educated hammer and a sandbag.
Thanks for watching! Our rock guards have a zillion little pings from the 129,000+ miles we have towed. I actually think they give the Luv Sub a little character. Like "laugh lines" on a face...
Hello Joy, we have a lot of dents on our rock guards (2005 Classic). Would you mind providing a little detail on how you took them out with an educated hammer and sandbag? Definitely interested if it worked. Thanks Cliff
Thanks for watching! Yes, good points. Thankfully though, the Midnight Flamingo comes with ST Goodyear Endurance versus the knobby truck tires on the Trade Wind.
@@LuvSubbin. The truth is my driveway. Entrance is so bad. I miss hitting my hitch, my sewer pipe and my rear bumper on the camper by maybe half an inch.
I love this new look and I would definitely use the black AC covers. I would change the curtains though: no black curtains for me. A Black fridge would work though.
I like the rock guards, but not the black wheels… also think the black accents inside don’t go with the blonde cabinets? Maybe it just isn’t my cup of tea… I like the idea of a flamingo trim package, just not crazy about their execution of it. Thanks for the video, you guys did a great job showcasing it.
Thanks for watching! C agrees with you on the interior accents. As you say, the concept of trim changes is good if executed to a wide audience. I'm thinking this one has limited appeal.
Thanks for watching! Maybe. But if you scan around the RV parks, you'll see a zillion Jaycos, Class A's, etc. that have the black shrouds. It can't be too bad.
Always exciting to see the new special editions!!! This one is just meh for me tho. Not loving thw black trim outside at all. The dark interior features are ok if it came that way, but I wouldnt opt for it. Same with the lift. Id rather not. Wow. That was a buzz kill.
Thanks for watching! We agree that it is unique. We're sure it will appeal to some. Maybe Airstream should display it by hooking it up to a black painted Tesla Cybertruck.
I feel like Airstream is having the design team come up with Something new, and then they are putting the ideas on a wheel of chance, and spinning the wheel. I just feel there are so many more important areas of improvement, then wasting time on badges, wheel colors, and material colors. Once again the Trade Wind is a complete disaster in it's execution of designing a boondocking focused, battery heavy unit, that will surely be problematic. I understand things change very slowly at Airstream. But keeping the look, but changing simple things like the ventilation system, or the many modifications that most people do anyways, would be more welcomed. Really, who is going to buy a vehicle with black accents. The handful of people that choose poorly to buy a black vehicle that show every bit of dirt. Sounds like a great idea, make a travel trailer with black rock guards so every bug shows up even better. This is a complete waste of time, and it is almost laughable.
Fun review guys! We also enjoyed the information on the real life black flamingos. 😊-Jim & Michelle
Thanks guys! We always like to learn something when we make our videos...
Interesting looking! I would have to see it in person before I decide. Safe travels
Yes, I think folks will love it or it will be a big Pass. The black rock guards are a little weird...

You heard IT first...right here on LUV SUBBIN...JUST SAYING...😂
@@daleschneider7090 Thanks guys! We endeavor to bring Airstream Breaking News as it becomes available...

There is also a blacked out rear bumper and tinted rear windows. Rims are 15". I like the tradewinds rims 16"

Love my lift I keep the pots and pans under the seats and a full water tank all was towing 😊
Thanks for watching! Like I said, if you love your lift - that's great. It's just not for us. But many, many people love the lift along with you...
@@LuvSubbin. The truth is my driveway. Entrance is so bad. I miss hitting my hitch, my sewer pipe and my rear bumper on the camper by maybe half an inch.
The lift is for clearance so you don’t drag!
Thanks for watching! OK. However, in 23 years and 129,000+ miles of towing I have never dragged.

I think it is a great option for people who love fake eyebrows and eyelashes.
Thanks for watching! The new look certainly is visually stunning and we cannot wait to see one in person. The black fridge is also a good idea.
Not sure about the rock guards... but, love the rest. The wheels are gonna start a new trend...
Thanks for watching! We're not big fans of the black rock guards either but I am sure they will appeal to some people.
Watching
Thanks guys! Great hearing from you...
Are you a vendor for chains ox?
Thanks for watching! We manufacture them ourselves. We think they look great and keep your chains from causing unwanted sparks if they bottom out.
@LuvSubbin please share how to order some!!

Black ac cover makes the ac run heater in for summer heat.

Thanks for watching! Yes, the Special Editions are always cool and we hope they continue to do so, even if perhaps they are not our cup of tea.
First😂
Nice! It's not easy being first on a rogue Luv Subbin post...
Oh yes, get a new toothbrush!
LOL! That one is relatively new. I must be an aggressive brusher...
It's not for me. Don't like it, but it's nice they're trying new stuff.
Thanks for watching! It's not for us either but we do agree in that we like the fact that Airstream is trying some different stuff.
Kinda unique although I don’t think it’s for me.
