One thing Airstream should consider adding is a ERV/HRV ventilation system. With the top vents and all windows closed the CO2 levels go up over 4,000 ppm overnight with 4 people and a dog. Leaving the top vents open allows valuable heat or air conditioning to escape. A heat exchanging fan would keep the space ventilated with very little energy loss.
I like the Flying Cloud trim level in this floor plan better than the International or Pottery Barn due to the storage above the dinette. The other trim levels delete that storage for vista windows, which are covered when camp-side awning is used, making the vistas unnecessary. It would also be nice if there was the shoe storage area under the dinette bench like in the bunkhouse. It’s nice having a convenient area by the door to store shoes and things out of sight
I love the flying cloud, beautiful trailer! I’m looking forward to a video on the new 23ft trade wind. I often wonder what ever happened to a trailer that Patrick’s friend Peter Grover was restoring a 1962 trade wind?
Be nice if Airstream would bring back the triple axle trailers, with a little extra length. Maybe space for stacked washer dryer, or combo. Thats about the main drawback in my mind with them is no in built unit for laundry. Other than that also be nice to maybe see them transition over to an aluminum chassis. I'm fond of the aluminum chassis's on commercial trailers in trucking. Lighter, a bit more ridgid with less flex, and no worries of rust. Galvanic corrosion is an issue, but that can be mitigated in engineering and design. One of these days I may buy an RV.. I'd just like to really see some true innovation out there. I think Airstream has been a bit stagnant on really pushing the envelope anymore. They're kinda in their own little niche with no real direct competition.

Beautiful rig.
Absolutely beautiful RV! Great presentation too! I wish they would move the valves up into the heated undercarriage to prevent freezing though. 😊
Nice! The 28 is my favorite floorplan. Take your time though. We enjoy your thorough walkthroughs! Five rivets ⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️
