That’s my favorite guitar I’ve heard him play. I love that semi hollow tone.
So great to hear that! Thank you so much!
Wow- what tone and technique- there is a lifetime worth of ideas on display there for most of us mere mortals
Good job! Thank you!
The differences between trapeze and stop bar tailpiece are audible and touch sensitive as well. Both have their place in tonal pallet.
Beautiful guitar 😃👍
😎✌👍❤🖖
Thank you for sharing! Next video! Thank you!

Looking forward to the next video 😃👍
Love a good ES335 😉👍
😎✌👍❤🖖
Great playing! I have the 2011 Epiphone version of this one (same color), and it’s always such a joy to play. It seems that every guitarist has that one guitar that just feels right in a way that can’t be easily explained. For me, it’s the Dot.
Thank you! Awesome! Cool guitar!
One of the best players in the world right here.
Thank you!
What a beautiful guitar man. The vintage really gives off its authenticity and smoothness. Cheers
Thank you so much!
@@TomoFujitaMusic My pleasure!
Tomo, u know what is great about alot of your vids? Even if it is not labeled as a "lesson", there is so much to listen for and try to learn from, as you do your thing...thanks😊
Thanks so much! I put a lot of that essence in each video!
Jazzy Smoke On The Water was so good!
Thank you so much!
Strummed delay at 11:40 was excellent!
Thank you!
That is perfect for 1960s contemporary guitar jazz and funk. Great playing.
Thank you so much!
マーヴィンゲイ、ダニーハサウェイの歌声が浮かびました。こんなコードワークは憧れです。ブロック、チェリーの335、最高のトーンですね。トモ先生、ありがとうございます!
ありがとうございます!お言葉嬉しいです!
Thx Sensei Tomo for sharing this stunning guitar with us. As a guitar starter and a Gibson fanboy I was blown away by this ES335!😃
BTW Kyoto is one of my favorite songs😂
You're very welcome! Thank you! So happy to hear that!
My pleasure! Btw would you like to make some blues starter lessons for us starters? Wanna play like BB King. And what does Sensei Tomo think about Anzenchitai? They are my favorite Japanese band!
@@5d13leelaphang3 Great request! Thank you! Yes!
Great playing! I have a 1965 ES-335, so very similar to yours. I love the "woody" tone. I guess that comes from the trapeze tailpiece. I have a modern 335 with stop tailpiece that sounds completely different, more electric sounding.
Thank you very much! So awesome!
Love this guitar. ♥️
Thank you!
Thanks for replying Tomo. Huge fan from India.
@@nigelsimoes Thank you so much!
My favorite guitar wizard and guitar!!

My dream guitar! Nice sounding combination with the Bassman.
Thank you so much!
awesome.. very extremely awesome .. one of my favourite guitars ever.. only played one once upon a time. many years ago.. very rare 🎸 in Australia
Thank you so much!
Ahh, there it is - the trapeze tailpiece. I missed this one last week. Awesome tone!
Thank you!
Stunning guitar, sounds great.
Thank you!
Great tone and playing. Thanks.
Thank you so much!

Thank you!

Thanks so much!
Thank you Mr.Fujita.
335 are good guitar.
(I changed 2 times, couse sustain and rich sound,1964 was Last one. But current new guitars sometime good sounds they have.😆)
Thank you so much! Awesome!
Congratulations 👍🎸
Thanks so much!
Great amp for a great guitar
Thank you!
That IS Tone! A new/another Mr. 335 emerges.
Thank you!
かっこいい〜
憧れの一本です
ありがとうございます!
Killer guitar. Sounds great 👍
Thanks so much!
What a beauty! 😎
Thank you!
i own a very similar one, from 1971.. thought it´s a 330, with this kind of tailpiece?
mine sounds beautiful too, dry, fast an full at the same time. very slim neck for me, with about 41mm at the saddle.
Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful❤
Thank you!
WOW SO BEAUTIFUL,😍🥰🥰🥰😍😍
Thank you!
B.B.King used thin strings .008"-.042. Why fight with bends!? I have now .009-.046 my semiacoustic. I like little more on bottom strings😎.
Thank you for sharing!
My hand got cramps just watching it….
Thank you so much!
Did I hear a Super Mario lick at 1:43?
That's Barney Kessel lick!
Based on that headstock inlay and wide pickguard - Looks like it’s a 1965/66 What’s the serial number? Are the frets original?
Thank you! Please watch it one more time! I explained all!
That tone is outstanding! Are there any other guitars that can match it, preferably for a little less cash?
Thank you so much! Let me see... Within vintage guitars?
Thank@@TomoFujitaMusic Not vintage. Something modern. Thanks.
Donny Hathaway - Whats goin on intro?
Yes! Good job!
Yes Lawd
Thank you!
Amazing! Is that a Prince song at 10:00 min mark please? Thank you
That's my original song Just Funky!
@@TomoFujitaMusic thank you
Sounds great!
What would you say would be the sound signatures for solid body vs semi-hollow vs hollow?
Thank you! More woody, warmer deeper tone!
What is the first song, or what were the references to? sounds very familiar
What's going on? Thank you!
I was wondering why I couldn’t internet my floating bridge Ibanez arch top then I changed to strings. Omg they where so old. The guitar is like brand new again. Don’t forget to changes your stings guys. I know better after all these year but just got lazy.
Thank you for sharing! Yes!
what if the bridge breaks?
Let's see..
Almost as good as my Eastman T59 ‘😳😀
Awesome!
maybe you should do guitar giveaway to one of your fans 😬 (only joking) man 🤓 that one is a keeper….
Thanks for your suggestion! I did a few give away before... it was not easy to make everyone happy!
some of it is vintage charm but there is no reason why they cant make high quality guitars and microphones today!
Thank you for sharing!
If your theory works, then vintage guitar price won't go up and people buy more new built instrument.
sounds great, but too jazzy for me. 😀
Thank you for sharing!
Why people don't use more semiacoustics!? They have more "lively"sound. I have DeArmond T-400 Made in Japan. Fender made those about 1998-99. All flame maple body with bigsby. Tennessee orange color. Very rare.
Not afford 60''s Gibsons.
My (other) 1967 Gibson ES-335 was my main instrument but when I came to America. I brought my Duncan Stratocaster & in order to avoid my main influence sound (Larry Carlton) so I did avoided to use ES-335. Thank you!
Hot diggity dog that’s nice.
Thank you!
MArvellous
Thank you!
Ridiculous chord skill
Thanks so much!
