That’s my favorite guitar I’ve heard him play. I love that semi hollow tone.

The differences between trapeze and stop bar tailpiece are audible and touch sensitive as well. Both have their place in tonal pallet.
    Beautiful guitar 😃👍

Great playing! I have the 2011 Epiphone version of this one (same color), and it’s always such a joy to play. It seems that every guitarist has that one guitar that just feels right in a way that can’t be easily explained. For me, it’s the Dot.

Great playing! I have a 1965 ES-335, so very similar to yours. I love the "woody" tone. I guess that comes from the trapeze tailpiece. I have a modern 335 with stop tailpiece that sounds completely different, more electric sounding.

mine sounds beautiful too, dry, fast an full at the same time. very slim neck for me, with about 41mm at the saddle.

B.B.King used thin strings .008"-.042. Why fight with bends!? I have now .009-.046 my semiacoustic. I like little more on bottom strings😎.

Why people don't use more semiacoustics!? They have more "lively"sound. I have DeArmond T-400 Made in Japan. Fender made those about 1998-99. All flame maple body with bigsby. Tennessee orange color. Very rare.
    Not afford 60''s Gibsons.

My (other) 1967 Gibson ES-335 was my main instrument but when I came to America. I brought my Duncan Stratocaster & in order to avoid my main influence sound (Larry Carlton) so I did avoided to use ES-335. Thank you!
