Apologies for the slight delay in bringing you this video. We were occupied with consultancy surveys for two RAS plants, one in Vijayawada and the other in Malegaon. More surveys in the Q. We're grateful to UA-cam for providing a platform that allows us to freely share our knowledge and reach those who need assistance.
A rotameter is a device used to measure the flow rate of a fluid in a closed system. It typically consists of a vertical tube with a float inside it. The float moves upward as the fluid flow increases and downward as the flow decreases. The flow rate can be determined by matching the float position to a calibrated scale on the outside of the rotameter. Many rotameters come with a built-in valve for adjusting flow manually. We will learn to calculate the flow of oxygen in grams/minute or hour using Ideal Gas Law and solubility of oxygen in water as per Henry's Law.
