We are basically from automobile field and diversified in to aquaculture for the last more than 5 years, based at Alibag, Maharashtra.. We are engaged in RAS, Biofloc and pond grow out aquaculture. We are doing persistent efforts to learn by our hands on experiences and application of acquired knowledge in real test conditions and by analyzing the data collected. We feel that we must share our knowledge to the dedicated and interested fellow human beings. Thanks to UA-cam for providing us this wonderful so easy to operate video platform. This is how the technology has struck so wonderfully well to reach to the masses.

Apologies for the delay in bringing you this video. We were occupied with consultancy surveys for RAS plants. More surveys in the Q. We're grateful to UA-cam for providing a platform that allows us to freely share our knowledge and reach those who need assistance.
Maintaining optimal ammonia levels in recirculating aquaculture systems involves a combination of biological, chemical, and physical management strategies. Understanding the dynamics between ammonia forms (NH3 and NH4+), their toxicity, and how to control them through biofiltration, pH and temperature management, feeding practices, and regular monitoring is essential for successful fish culture in RAS.
This video explain the calculation for determining the value of toxic ammonia in TAN in reference to the temperature and pH.
These are the points we have elaborated in this lecture.

Excellent sir ji, sir after death it take how much time for fish to come to surface ,or how can one tell it is freshly died or not, plz reply
The time it takes for a drowned fish to surface can vary depending on several factors. Warmer water temperatures generally accelerate the decomposition process and might cause the fish to bloat and surface sooner. If the fish is in deeper water, it might take longer to surface compared to shallow water. Different species have varying buoyancies and decomposition rates, which can affect how quickly they rise to the surface. Predators might consume the fish before it surfaces. In general, a drowned fish may take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to float to the surface of the water. Fresh dead fish (recently dead):It will generally have intact scales, clear eyes, and firm flesh. There might be some rigor mortis (stiffening of the body) setting in, but overall, it will look relatively normal. Might not have a strong odor, or it might just smell fishy. Eyes are usually clear and not cloudy. Gills are typically red or pink.
Hello sir I am from West Bengal i am currently a law student i am planning after my graduation i would do buisness in this fish sea bass or bhetki in West Bengal..parellay with law practice i have no background in fish farming so i would like to get some tips and guidance from you in future.. For now i have some questions in my mind. 1) where should I take the seed from? From hatchery like Andra Pradesh or West Bengal where they spwan them or should I buy from local fishermen and make them commercially feed because i have Heard when fish are bron with hormones there is a huge chance they will get disease where as wild caught has a less chance of disease because you are doing it you know better than me so would be helpful if you help me out in this 2) which company feed would be good? 3) I don't have enough money to start a indoor fiah farming like RAS IPRS or BOTTOM CLEAN they are all expensive i am thinking of having a 5 bigha pond and start it with 500-1000 pieces 4) which size would be best for starting 10 inch or small? 10 inch would cost us around 80-90 Where as 2-3-4-5 would start from 12-50
You have to undergo a comprehensive training for Fish farming. It is a science. Once you know the things in a systematic and proper way, you will find the answers of your each question by yourself. Aquaculture is a full time job.

Sar ji ras me fcr keya aata hai❤❤❤
Ji. FCR machhali ki prajati par aur kya khana khila rahe hain usme potein ki matra kitni hai aur pani ke parameters kitni achchhi tarah se control kiya gaya hai, is par nirbhar karta hai. Kyonki RAS me jo aap khilayenge sirf wahi khana machhali ko milta hai aur talaab ki tarah koi natural food nahi milta isliye FCR jyadatar 1.2 ke upar hi rehta hai.❤

Sir how to disediment in large ponds say 1 acre ,can we use alum ,fitkari plz reply
De-sedimentation of a pond means removing accumulated sediments from the bottom of the pond which may include organic matter, silt, clay, and other particles that settle over time. This process is crucial for maintaining the health and productivity of the aquaculture environment. Draining and Drying can be used and once dry, the sediments can be manually or mechanically removed. Dredging can be another option where using mechanical equipment to scoop out the sediments from the pond bottom without draining. Also, Siphoning out sediments from small ponds without draining the entire pond.. We always use the Draining and Drying.

@@aquacultureguru178 dear sir can I use soil probiotic and decomposer at same time in my fish pond or they are anti to eachother, plz reply or make a video on this topic ,
@@neerajsinghbhar966 Let's understand this way : Soil Probiotics: These are beneficial bacteria that help to maintain a healthy balance of microorganisms in the pond. They can improve water quality by breaking down organic matter, reducing harmful pathogens, and enhancing the overall microbial ecosystem. Decomposers: These are organisms, including bacteria and fungi, that break down dead organic material into simpler substances. Decomposers play a crucial role in nutrient cycling and help keep the pond clean by decomposing fish waste, uneaten food, and plant debris. When used together, soil probiotics and decomposers can work synergistically to maintain a healthy pond environment. Probiotics can enhance the activity of decomposers by creating a favorable environment for their growth and activity. This can result in more efficient breakdown of organic matter and improved nutrient cycling. The combined action of both can lead to better water clarity, reduced sludge accumulation, and lower levels of harmful compounds like ammonia and nitrites, which are harmful to fish. Introduce them at the same time or sequentially, depending on the specific products and instructions from the manufacturer. Follow the recommended dosage and application frequency for each product. Overuse of either can lead to imbalances. Regularly monitor water quality parameters such as pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels to ensure that the pond remains healthy. Using both soil probiotics and decomposers together in a fish pond can be highly beneficial and they are not inherently antagonistic.

You have only calculated the amount of TAN with the half of the amount of nitrogen. If I understand the translation in English, the other 50% of the nitrogen is assimilated by fish. Please how does fish assimilate wasted nitrogen? Thank you!
Welcome Sir. This is an example only to show how to calculate the TAN and requisite surface area of the biomedia. The total nitrogen produced by the feed will not be assimilated by fish. Feed ingested and digested by fish will also be not 100% and a portion of it comes out with fecal natter, also some uneaten feed will be wasted and may contribute to TAN if not addressed quickly. When fish eats feed, digests and assimilates the nitrogen present in feed's protein, it utilizes it for BOTH its growth and other metabolic activities which depends on various water parameters and varies significantly. So, for calculation purpose ONLY we have resorted to 50% of nitrogen of protein assimilated by fish and 50% contributed to the production of TAN. In reality, it will vary as per the situation & species.
Well done sir keep going 🎉
