I was on the hill that day with a few thousand others. I can still remember the carnival-like atmosphere and excitement. Antics included many songs and chants, including AB and the other players giving us a wave, and who could forget the climax when big Carl took that final catch. Hundreds of very happy (and largely inebriated) fans celebrated on the field with their heros as the monkey on Queensland's back was finally dispatched in style. A day in Queensland's history to remember forever.
