Thanks for posting. I was at that match. SA actually won the match after the score was recalculated. A SA player hit a four above waist height from a no-ball but the 2 extra runs were not added to the score at that time.
I remember watching this game when I lived in Tumut...it was a real turning point for me regarding domestic cricket. When I had been introduced to cricket it was the 1994/95 season WSC and Tests, so 1995/96 was the first year I followed the domestics. That partnership between Chee Quee and Roberts was the first time I watched two non-international cricketers really turning it on. I had been so disappointed to tune in and see Slater, Waugh, Lee and Bevan all out, only to watch the partnership that ensued with such fascination. A great game.

So, from what I can gather, everyone - scorers, Channel 9 crew, and players missed the 1:13:05 no-ball call from the square leg umpire for an above waist high full toss - never contemplated by either Richie Benaud or Greg Ritchie(?) Had it not been for the wicket to fall at the last ball of that over, queries over the apparent 7-ball over would not have happened; and the umpires would not have checked with the scorers over the missed no-ball call Is that pretty much what happened here?
