- Texas A&M Baseball and Tennessee Baseball played in game 1 of the 2024 College World Series Finals. It is a best of 3 series that determines the National Champion.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a UA-camr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other UA-camrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

I'm an LSU fan so I wish both of theses teams could lose but if I have to pick one I'm pulling for A&M. Their fans are generally better people and their head coach isn't a dick.

This run in the postseason without Montgomery and Sdao and with an injured LaViolette and Schott is so, so impressive. Beating Beam for a natty will be very tough tomorrow but if anyone can do it, it's the Ags. They just won't lose

A&M is doing this without Montgomery and Sdao. Laviolette is playing with a bum hamstring, Schott is playing on a torn meniscus, Appel is banged up pretty bad, but yet they still keep winning. This team deserves to win it all with how much they’ve overcame the past few weeks.
Deserving it is one thing. Actually doing it is another thing.

A&M pitchers were on fire today. There really just wasn't much my Vols can do with pitching that good. Hopefully they can have answers tomorrow but this A&M is looking much more deadly than in the SEC tourny and at the right time.
I have faith the Vols can pull this out though. We've had plenty of 0-1 starts or 2-1 series wins so I think we can do it but if A&M continues to pitch the way they did today it's going to be really tough.

Aggies have 53 wins and were ranked #1 for several weeks. Won 17 straight to start the season; undefeated in non-conference; only team to beat Hagen Smith; and has been undefeated in the tournament. They're not "just hot at the right time"...I think they've been pretty hot most of the season.

Tennessee doing their usual whining about everything from balls and strikes to to whatever has conspired against them. Coach V and his big mouth bleeds over to his players and it has a big impact on the team's performance. This is the one thing that has caused a Championship to elude the Vols.

Hey guys did you know Jeff Kent has a son that plays for A&M? I kept waiting for ESPN to mention it, but they never did.
You would think they could get like a camera shot of him every once in a while but I don't know why they didn't. I honestly would have loved to see him every 2.5 minutes and cut back to see him reacting every time something happens even when his son isnt on the field.
They really need to do this tomorrow.

I love how the home plate ump puts his hand on the catchers back like “you’re doing a good job buddy” 😂😂😂
What ump is doing is spacing himself from catch and letting him know which shoulder he is looking over with his hand placement. Nothing drove me crazy more than an ump climbing up my back or getting in my way... so I always appreciated umps like this one and took care to cover the wild pitches with nobody on base so ump didn't get dinged in the berries.
My absolute favorite umps not only did that, but they'd tell me the location of every called ball so I never had to ask. Thats why this ump would say "ball... low" "or ball... outside". It wasn't for the camera. It was for catch and batter to know where his strike zone was so they could frame it.
I didn't like this umps strike zone. Seemed inconsistent. I liked how he handled business otherwise.
If a school does something wrong and the NCAA puts them on probation . Part of the punishment should include having to wear Tennessee orange the whole season.
