- Texas A&M Baseball and Kentucky Baseball played in the winners bracket in the 2024 College World Series. The winner would advance to the bracket final (essentially the final four), needing just 1 win in a potential 2 games to advance to the College World Series Finals.

Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other UA-camrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

So proud of the pitchers. UK is a heck of a team and only gave up one inning of runs. The Ags scraped together enough hits in a row to put up a big number. UF scares me, UK is probably the better team, and whoever makes it out of this side will have their hands all the way full with Tenn. But right now the ride continues and life is good 👍
No matter what happens from here, I’m still proud of my Wildcats and their accomplishments this season

If Laviolette can't field; 1B Hayden Schott; LF Teddy Burton; CF - Gavin Grahovic; RF - Caden Sorrell; 3rd - Kaden Kent; 2nd Travis Chestnut; Laviolette DH. Or if Laviolette is completely out, then put Targac at 1st and Schott at DH.
Looks like another SEC champion. I hope it's the Aggies. This is becoming the SEC invitational over the last five years. It's like groundhog day. Not very interesting.

3:15 One of the best plays Jackson Appel has made all year. Absolutely incredible and barely beat the runner.
Jackson Appel has saved this team multiple times in the playoffs; his block on Cortez's strikeout in the 6th then throw to 1st against FL saved a run and likely secured the win; of course the play yesterday to 1st; he's been blocking "dirt" pitches and making plays throughout the playoffs. He's an unsung hero for sure.

Pretty obvious we’ll be getting an A&M vs Tennessee final. No shot Florida or Kentucky takes 2 from A&M and even less likely UNC or FSU taking 2 from Tennessee.
I’m an A&M fan, but Florida can definitely take 2 from us due to their explosive offense and talent. I could also see FSU possibly taking 2 from Tennessee

@@J_williams22 They’ve been playing well but they’ve really relied on good pitching performances, the offense hasn’t really been there like it would need to be to compete with A&M. They have nothing left pitching wise and Neally could realistically only throw in one game, but he’s pretty spent already as is.

I was a huge fan of A&M until seeing their fans screaming into the Florida dugout last night (especially after learning what they were screaming about). Now even though I don’t like Tennessee I’m rooting for them to beat A&M in the event they both make it to the championship lol.
Edit: I understand that you can’t base your opinion of an entire fan base on the actions of two idiots, but when that’s how your fans behave on the biggest stage in the sport you can’t be surprised if people (including me) do.
those two jackasses don’t speak for the university or its fan base. even the head coach denounced them with all of the fanbase pretty much agreeing on the stance that it was out of pocket. those two bring shame on all aggies and it’s not entirely fair to loop them in with other aggies in omaha there to enjoy their team.

As an A&M fan that was really disappointing and embarrassing to see. It also turned a lot of people against us and I understand why. Most A&M fans are pretty nice people and those people aren’t a representation of the entire fanbase.

Tons of appreciation for doing these, but could you please stop putting extra comments in the titles like (great!), (must watch), etc? It spoils whether the game will be close or not. For example, in this title you put no additional comment, so it was obvious that the team with the early lead would hang on to win.

in the event there is a TAMU vs. UT college world series who do yall think comes out on top? i feel as if it would be evenly matched and could go either way depending on pitching. i don’t think either team has faced the real versions of the other so the matchups will be new and interesting.
A&M is the only team who hasn’t lost in the post season tournament regionals supers and now cws. They’re also the team that hasn’t been saved by a terrible game changing call. So i would say A&M takes that. But never know I’m probably wrong

A&M is grinding to get there. Montgomery and Sdao out. LaViolette tweaked a hamstring. Schott, Burton, and Appel all three dinged up. Tennessee seems like a tall mountain to climb. We’ll see if they each make the finals.
@@mftepera they didn’t seem to be grinding in this game. They simply shut down the Kentucky bats. Prager gave up 1 hit in 7 innings pitched or something like that. They don’t even seem to be trying really hard..
