Ken is the real deal. The first time I saw Aborted, I was dragged by a friend - I only agreed to go to see the support (Dyscarnate). I'd checked out Aborted online prior to the show, but was 100% convinced they'd be shit and the drums were just protools magic because I'd seen it so many times before. When Aborted came on and Ken played tight as hell with all the kicks as they should be, my jaw hit the fucking floor. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. They've been one of my favourite bands ever since.
He is phenomenal live (they all are) man's just a machine. One of the best I've personally watched live. Him and Trey from Fetus should be on every death heads bucket list of drummers.
When I turned 50 Aborted came to Australia that month. I shouted myself a family holiday of Aborted concerts. My wife, youngest son and me did Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Sydney. We drove to every show and had a ball the whole way. Fuck tbeyre good. Best bday ever

That hand technique on the snare when he blasts pisses me off, he switches grip like every 4 strokes between french/American. There's a few other dudes who do that like Mike Heller and Marthyn Jovanovic, it's so good 😂
