That itchy beard thing -- my kids and their friends used to be more of a stroking beard thing, and saying "Hmmm" which turned into "Humski", so as well as the lovely cuddles with the donkey troop you have brought back a memory of long ago when my kids were teenagers. 😀😀

Ronnie wants to hear that you love him not just like him. I wonder what attracts him to your jackets. He seems to be the only one who wants to chew up your jacket (like a goat eats paper lmao). Steve with the one ear up and the other down is so cute and Barry is so sweet getting his face rubs. Julian you are so funny removing the seeds of Barry's head so he stops growing a garden in his head, wait, I see a tiny green sprout coming up in the middle of his head. you missed that seed leave the sprout alone so we could see how high it grows lmao 🤣😂🤣😂. ty for making my day with the laughs I needed this

I know it's a Sanctuary and all the animals are equal but Ronnie is still my favorite ❤
They all have such different characters, some bigger than others. Its strange how you have to adjust your energy accordingly...some are robust (Ronnie) but Steve is a little gentler..some are more serious. It takes time to understand them all.

I remember itchy beard, some of the lads at school really used to emphasise the word itchy in really funny noises and extend the hand right out like the beard was real long, sorry for the bad description, it was hilarious though 😂

I wonder do you give these animals a bath it would refresh them .
Sometimes, yes they do get bathed but right now its cold and it is wet so not a good idea. Donkeys do not have waterproof coats like horses, so they can suffer a bit in the damp conditions. This morning they had a vigorous rub down and a manual groom from me. Thanks for the question, it was a good one!
Let's face it -you LOVE Ronnie (and Steve and Barry and Charlie. But Ronnie is my one true love
