I love how my hands go numb after touching ice in the freezer for 3 seconds, but these floofballs literally roll around in the snow like it's summer. They're built different.

I have the idea that foxes love winter more than summer. (Except for the species whose habitat is the desert ofcourse!😅) They are always so playful and happy in the snow. And their thick, fluffy winter coats protects them for the cold.😊❤❤
Esmae and Mala having a dominance spat! Is that Edie playing diplomatic third wheel in the background! It's difficult to tell when you can't see eye colour and they are all floofed up and dusted with snow! ❤
The silver foxes are cute, floofy, and silly. Thanks Mikayla & staff @ SaveAFox (Florida & Minnesota) for the work you do. You are all amazing, Have a Happy New Year 😊🦊
@@ADifferentVibe Esmae has very pale, almost green eyes. In fact her eyes are probably the most pale of all the silver foxes. Mala's are much more of a saturated brown. Even as their coats change, their eyes stay the same.
@@ADifferentVibe I have noticed Mala has a much "longer" face, the bridge of her nose is more pronounced. If you pause at 0:39 you can just barely see that Mala's muzzle arcs downward slightly. But if you're close enough to measure noses you can usually see their eyes anyway. I don't know of any other consistent way to identify them visually. But there are other clues you can use. Esmae has some very unique grumbly noises that I don't think any other fox and save a fox makes. If you hear that throat clearing sound like at the beginning of this video, it's always Esmae. Another clue is that she easily girlbosses any other fox in her yard that gets in her way, so if you see two foxes having an argument, Esmae is usually the winner.

Honestly, with how they behave and how they act I always end up, thinking that foxes are related to cats rather than dogs. And yet every time these videos prove me wrong.
Why do foxes stand up against one another and open their mouths? I've seen other videos of this behavior. It doesn't seem to be an out and out brawl, but some kind of stand-off or at least positioning themselves on the hierarchy.
silver and red foxes are snow bunny types, the climate is fine for those breeds, not for fozzy, the ruppel sand fox, he stuck indoors, snow not so good for fozzy to live outside in.
If you're reading the comments, I tell you that one day I'll make a figurine of one (or two) of them. I can't wait to make it! I just need to decide which fox(es) I want to make.
The sounds they were making at each other! So stinkin cute!🥰
@missdenisebee I agree
Finding that one friend who's as weird as you.
I love seeing foxes play. It really does make my heart melt to the overload of adorableness^^
Awww. Precious snow-covered babies playing in the snow! ❤❤
The silver foxes' fur seems to always be the most luxuriant of all your foxes.
They are still red foxes. The red fox species has multiple color morphs (fur colors)
Vixie has the most floofy fur ever
Silver foxes are so beautiful.
Get a load of those thick, dense winter coats! Survival of the squeakiest.
These are my favorite kinds of videos, honestly. Just watching them be themselves.
They make strange cute little noises
That sounded like a pur. 😊 They're so majestic in their element 🦊 🖤🤍🖤🤍
Foxes are such playful animals!
Such silly snow zoomies! 🦊🦊🦊
Esmae is my favorite, she cracks me up.
I love how my hands go numb after touching ice in the freezer for 3 seconds, but these floofballs literally roll around in the snow like it's summer.
They're built different.
"Is there anything stuck in my teeth? I dunno is there anything in my teeth?" "Hold still! No you hold still"
Absolutely adorable!! So many cute noises. I wish I had Esmae's energy!!
They are so happy playing in the snow. And so beautiful with their winter coats.
They are so sweet. It’s amazing how they stay warm in the freezing cold. They get so fluffy and fat in the Winter.
They aren't fat. If you see them in the spring and summer they look very scrawny compared to now
@@DirectorOfChaos9292
I don't think she meant 'fat' as in overweight, but that they look round because of their thick, fluffy winter coat. 😊
Soooo freakin adorable!!! I want to pick them up and love them. 😊
So much fun to watch and listen to! 😇❤️✨
They are adorable.😀🦊
Lol Esmae is full of beans today! So cute.

They're having a morning conversation of course
Lovely to see them enjoying the snow ❤❤❤
The contrast of the silver & black of the foxes against the brilliant white snow
is striking. 🤍🖤

It's taken a long time, but I can finally tell Esmae and Mala apart visually without Mikayla telling me who they are. That makes me happy.
How do you know who is who?
@@ADifferentVibe Esmae has very pale, almost green eyes. In fact her eyes are probably the most pale of all the silver foxes. Mala's are much more of a saturated brown. Even as their coats change, their eyes stay the same.
@@luridcodex Esmae rhymes with 'gray', which is how her eyes look. That's how I memorized it.

A perfect example of foxes in a battle rap.
What were they saying, Mikayla? You speak fox 🥰

I've seen other videos of this behavior.
It doesn't seem to be an out and out brawl, but some kind of stand-off or at least positioning themselves on the hierarchy.
It's a dominance argument.
Tt's about psychological dominance and these 'dances' are where the term foxtrot came from.

The foxes are having a good time

Playmates and fresh snow!

Omg they so funny and fluffy aaaaah >_
you know I keep seeing this so I gotta ask, why do foxes do this at 0:54 ? just putting their paws on each other and yelling
They're arguing over who's higher in the fox yard hierarchy.
Play fight.
Just like my dog, a little snow brings out the frisky
