@@nobodynowhere21 I don’t know man. Russians are buying iranian suicide drones at a way higher price than they cost to produce. So their economy don’t look that strong either if they can’t make their own
I've tried playing the tutorial as Sweden for Vic 3 a few times now and it told me nothing about how to manage the economy. It showed me how to do the things, but at no point did it show me where the supply and demand was or how to make my buildings productive. For example, it tells you to build an art academy and at no point did it tell me how to make it productive. I stumbled on one way to do that when I started exporting fine art to the UK and it immediately started making money. This video has proved to be far more valuable to me than one of the offical tutorials has. I mean, the Swedish one didn't show me where to look for the products in demand or at least how to determine what is in demand. Something as important and basic as this and it tells you nothing about that. Thanks for your video, it has helped a lot
I mean the game is major shit. It runs forever and nothing happens. Whoever made this game, hasn't understood any gaming basics. For that it's pretty involved. Really crazy actually, someone makes a product to bad. There are entire reddit forums full of that people cant play it because actions are so super slow.
I think the construction sector is better when bigger. Short term it takes a huge toll on your Economy and ressources (especially early in a small Nation), but it scales incredibly. It drives the Economy by the goods Input needed, which increases demand and boosts existing industry and Ressource sectors, creates Jobs (and therefore Tax revenue and Pops spending Money/ goods demand), while simultaniously creating new industry and ressources. it is THE driving Factor of economic growth

As always, base resources first, until your used goods are low cost, then focus on coal as much as you can so you can sell the excess. Use that money to expand the construction and then grow from there, always make sure you expand from the bottom up. i usually try to get the basic construction off the ground first in minor nations. construction->wood->tools for more wood->cotton/ranch for fabric->iron for more tools->coal for atmospheric engine for more iron->switch to iron frame construction->iron until youre about even on supply/demand->steel mill for more tools (when you get the tech for it) then after that, you can pick something to focus on. exporting either luxury clothes, luxury furniture, or porcelain are usually pretty good bets early on, depending on whether you have silk or dyes available. if not, luxury furniture is always a decent choice. groceries are also good because they are wayyy more efficient than grain for food to feed your people. and from there you should have a decent income to start to diversify.

Are the junkers (land owners) the most powerful group and own everything in your country? The more laws that support them and the more money they have the more the land based tax will affect them. If you want social changes towards the laws the intellectuals, industrialists or workers want you need to pass laws that weaken the junkers. Move away from laws that give them power like local police force, voting laws that favor them, and then when decisions arrive look for options that give them less following. The reason why they dont import from Qing is because they need an interest there to do it.
So, can I just add a random interest in the EIC to get access to their trade routes? Or what do you mean by that
