I absolutely loved the ceiling in this build! Like many out there, Justin did a fantastic job of making this skoolie his own. I hope you enjoy the many aspects of skoolie life he shared in this video!
The whole build is great, but I liked that he went into what it cost. I also like that he straight up said it isn't cheap to run one of these. Alot of people that own skoolies make it seem like these buses run on hope and universe juice.
That was the first person I heard talk about cost to "use" them & how things can break down & needing back up funds for the unexpected. Even if you do solar....great to say what you were going to use it for!!!!
Thank you for being honest about living with your parents and having a job that paid you well in tips. Too many times successful people gaslight readers/watchers and claim they did it "all on their own" and had no help. Not being bogged down by the price of rent and being able to save all your money IS HELP. Also thank you for explaining costs, the not so great side of bus ownership/maintenance and telling us you travel with people to split costs. One of the better ones I've seen. The handicap door, slide and swivel chair, and Jeep view were great ideas. You did great!
@@zorak6969 I agree with your assessment of my camping desires. I am 67 and like comfort more than I did years ago. I like the construction and all that better than the road
@@zorak6969 Not true! Many Van Lifers have gorgeous bathrooms and have been SUCCESSFULLY living on the Road for YEARS! It's also a HEALTH issue. If someone is drinking the minimum 8 glasses of water daily & EATING a balanced fibrous foods, that should mean # 1, 4 times/day & # 2, 2 times/day. That's a WHOLE LOTTA HASSLE to rely on public bathrooms😂😂
Dude built the ultimate party bus! As a mom, I was so impressed that he worked hard for his money & invested it into something that will bring happiness & adventure into his life. And the build itself is downright beautiful. I especially loved the bar & that gorgeous table.🚊💛🌻🥂
I really like this bus. He has done an exceptional job with the design and build. This is, obviously, a mobile party pad, but, even as is, it could be used for so much more. Happy Camping
Nice to see an alternative to an expensive ceiling. It gives me an idea of doing one either with maps using Découpage or fabric. Just did some chairs using it and turned out great.
A conversion can be BETTER than a factory RV. We like our 32' Aerbus but there are a few things we would change if we were doing a conversion. However, Rexhall thought things through pretty well when they designed our Aerbus. I love to see good conversions such as this one. The 24' length allows camping in more national & state park campgrounds. VERY VERSATILE. And that water heater arrangement is excellent.
Absolutely love that beautiful and unique ceiling!!❤❤ Your whole build is very creative and well thought out for your intended plans/uses. Safe journeying and adventures with your friends.😊😊
I love your little party bus. I’m considering doing a small bus just so the BF and I can travel some, all our adult children live in different states and it gets expensive to stay in hotels when we visit. Thank you for being honest about expecting repair bills and mileage cost, that’s something a lot of people gloss over. Happy trails!!! Wish I would have had that back in my Greatful Dead touring days!!
Oh my!! I've been searching through bus-builds for days just to find one with a passenger seat! Most have an along the window bench seat, but I can imagine the passenger would have a stiff neck in no time. You nailed it!! Gorgeous job!
Ingenious cooking centre. Love your ceiling too. Awesome job. This is the the first School Bus build I've seen that I would like to travel about it. For a 24 footer, you've covered pretty much all the bases. I hope you get many years lots of miles out of it.
Some many thing are unique about your video. you were very informative about the cost. An not just about the cost of the build but the reality of the cost of fixing the vehicle and keeping up with it. Thank you for this! And great build
Justin, You did a fantastic job with your bus. Especially love the sliding shotgun seat; could you post the exact type of hardware needed for that setup and where you found it? Also love the dining area in the back; so open and airy with a panoramic view! Very well done. You have a future in an expanding industry of converting buses should you ever need it. Good luck and happy travels.
Way to go Dustin. I love the way you made the bus with convenience over looks in mind. Yet it looks awesome. Really like the uniqueness of the ceiling.
I Really like the size of the bus. The shot gun seat is brilliant and with the wheelchair access door open it’s a really nice feature. It looks very spacious and comfy but I would def want the toilet though.
That co captains chair cannot be crash rated. He also said he drives w the wheelchair door open...aren't these people afraid of getting into car accidents?
Bro, a bus like that, the trooper would look at the speakers, look at the bottles, look at the young man, look at the roof, look at the young man again and sit down asking for a jack and coke lmfao. Dudes got THE SPOT. You'd have to be a monster to step on that kind of classy lmao
Thanks, Justin for sharing your creation, It blew me away! It is everything I envision for my own build. Love the wide-open homey feel to it. I wish you safe journeys. Peace.

Yeah I am getting ready to move into my mom’s house to save money. Rent is insanely expensive everywhere.
You are the first school bus owners that really speak the truth about the cost to own a school bus. Thank you
Good build. No bathroom is a deal breaker for me.
Me too! It always surprises me when people don’t have one! However, it does save space :) His build is gorgeous though as you said :)
Me too! I cannot fathom it. Plus I have PPP- Problems Peeing Publicly.
If it’s the bathroom you’re worried about. You’re not suited for this lifestyle

The shotgun chair is the full package. 10/10 my favorite thing in the bus. So cool and thought out.
I would like to ask questions about the copilot chair? Could we text?
Really appriciate the honest advice about the ongoing cost!
Love the Lichtenburg Fractal Burned Ceiling i do that for a living notice it instantly
That ceiling is gorgeous, you'd never know it was plywood!
Wicked Nice! Love the ceiling, the shotgun seat idea is badass. Thanks for sharing

Best ceiling I have seen. At first glance it reminded me of old maps.
Totally! It does have an old map look to it.🤩
Bro, jl woofers, a shotgun seat, and a bar! By far the best conversion I've seen!

I’m so impressed! What a beautiful space and he is so creative!
From the start of this tour, I wanted to know about the ceiling...it's awesome ! 😎
Very impressed!! Great weekender. Definitely the party bus. He was extremely clever in his work. I hope he can enjoy it for years to come.
I have watched hundreds of these....the bar on this one sold me.
I do like the burn look on the ceiling you have given some good tips .

Ceiling for the win. Love the fractal wood burn. I've seen the technique before, but never on a ceiling or mobile ceiling for that matter. Kudos.
I love everything. Especially the ceiling
LOVE that ceiling!! "Liberating" that process for somewhere in my build. THANKS! Be safe out there 🙏
Great job love ❤️ the ceiling
Dude did a great job. His thought pricess was very intentional. Loved the kitchen design.
Very nicely built
yeah I loved the ceiling. the whole time watching I wanted to know what you did. lol
You did a really good product purchase and layout, love it..
I get a very homey feeling from just looking at the bus. You did a great job on it!
that passenger seat is an amazing idea! I'll probably put that in if I decide to get a skoolie.

Just Awesome, this young man has his act together, very responsible 👍 Love his make over bus 👍
I like it!! Love the ceiling!
He's got partying covered but where does he store food? LOL! Beautiful though!
WOW! Well done!! I love so many aspects of this schoolie but I think the ceiling is my favourite! Unique and gorgeous!
Not for nothing but these are the young people who will be running the world and that gives me a great feeling about the future.
Nice build man, we're looking at building an accessible bus about this size to explore with. I appreciate the insight. 👍🏻😊
Very nice! I like how bright everything is inside, and my favorite part is the beautiful ceilings.
Loved his ceiling.
I love the ceiling. Very pretty.
really nice build!...lol, but definitely reflective of a young man's priorities. xD
Wow. What a great idea for a ceiling. Fantastic build!
Your bus looks amazing!!!! I plan on converting one soon

That cabinet slider is such a good idea! This is perfect!
Wow I’m impressed. What a great design and loved your unique ceiling.
Your ceiling is definitely the highlight of a fabulous buildout. And you are so young to have such great skills. Happy Travels.
I’d be worried about open container laws with all those bottles out in the open depending on where you go. Definitely a beautiful build though.
I had the same thought! Guess you’ll have to “clean up” (and sober up) before hitting the road!

This has been my favorite build so far....except for no bathroom or shower. I think I will look into this kind of bus now.
beautiful van. you are very wise. enjoy
Very nice bus
Wow!!! Gorgeous!!!👠🚌👠
My main complaint with bus conversations is their too dang long and not maneuverable but this bus is the perfect size. Sweet ride man
They must be to some extent, b/c most drivers I've seen of these and shuttles are female.
I hope you roam around the world with that bus.
Love what you did to the ceiling
VERY cool!!!!
My favorite parts is the ceiling ! It’s perfect and he has sounds and a bar ! Coolest one I’ve seen so far !!
