I have a few questions: First, is the Lava Beast Jawenko the boss inside or outside the Sand Crawler. Second, does R2-D2 give you the lightsaber or is it all yours for the entire game?
The Lava beast Jawenko is fought inside the Sandcrawler. After the fire breathing green slug monster. Luke gets his lightsaber from Obi wan in the sand people level.
No damage in this game? You can not be human, for sure you must be an alien or a robot. I can not believe that there are people who can beat the bosses of a very difficult game like this, without being damaged.
This game's awesome! I love the guns! Especially the Plasma and shooting the aliens! Why in the name of sanity did they not adapt the prequel trilogy like this?!

I remember how insanely hard this game series is. Bravo friend....bravo!! Now get through SUPER Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi next. I look forward to the rest of the uploads.
Funny that out of the four bosses you actually recognise, one's been turned into some kind of moving weapon turret, one's from the wrong film, and one's a game piece from a holographic chessboard.
7:27 Imperial Trooper: He’s directly in front of me! I’ going to prove to EVERYONE that we don’t always miss our shots! *4 seconds later* Imperial Trooper: How does that even work?! Screw this, I’m retiring...
i also loved the episode 1 dreamcast game and revenge of the sith was very solid too but seriously the sega dreamcast SW episode 1 was great 2D hack n slash very underrated game
@@FireBomberBassist i always got hit by one of the rocks he throws i believe, and then when you get hit you open yourself up to getting hit a lot of times. He was just barely beatable on normal for me. Virtually impossible on Jedi.
@@FireBomberBassist Well it's supposed to move around a lot more but it seems he may have figured out a way to lock it into position from that distance. I've never been that lucky when I fought that boss. Granted it's not the hardest in the game but it can be a challenge if you don't pay attention & don't have the powerups to help.
Sadistic Game Dev: "So... for the sequel games, we're going to change all the bosses to now have dots as health bars... and then make the player hit the bosses a ton without really having the dots go down... but sometimes they'll go down... and we don't need the dots to span half the screen, we're going to make them span the entire screen."

There are two blaster power-ups in the first level. The first you get by killing 10 scorpions at a certain point. The second you get by killing 50 womprats somewhere else. The second is easier than it seems given the absurd amount of enemies that pour out of every corner of this game.
How the hell were you able to defeat the Mutant Womprat without getting hit once?! Even on easy mode it was impossible for me to kill that thing without getting a bunch lifesabers first because that thing dealt some _serious_ damage.
No way am I believing this... That cantina boss is IMPOSSIBLE to beat if you do not have the right weapons. Its attacks are damn well near unpredictable too. Once you lose a life on that level too, there is no chance you can beat it again, because of low DPS compared to the boss.
We all fight the boss of greed-o in our daily lives. It makes you think, about how Star Wars characters have names that just put the character's defining trait on the retail box
@MegaZeta At times too much so. In 'Attack of the Clones,' the drug dealer that Obi- Wan mind- tricks into rethinking his life apparently has the last name "Sleazebaggano"! I mean, come on! Maybe give him a name a little more subtle than that?
It plays very fast and loose with the movie with some bizarre made-up bosses but it's not bad, for the time it was more than a decent use of the license. Only thing it would have really needed are shorter levels - at some point entire sections of them get copied and pasted several times.

I have a few questions: First, is the Lava Beast Jawenko the boss inside or outside the Sand Crawler.

The Lava beast Jawenko is fought inside the Sandcrawler. After the fire breathing green slug monster. Luke gets his lightsaber from Obi wan in the sand people level.
@@mushroomhead3619 Well, that explains where the Lava Beast Jawenko is fought, but that doesn't explain how I get in the sand crawler.
*Phil Swift walks defeated into the sand dunes of Tatoonine, dropping his can of Flex Seal because there was no damage to repair*
There is nothing worse than defeating the Lava Beast Jawenko boss, only to still die in the lava jumping toward R2-D2. 😳😬🤬
Thought the same exact thing as I watched this, lol.
I remember. Soul destroying 😒
Can relate bro😢
2:45 I love how they turned a.chess-piece into a boss.
As a kid I never got past the Hover Combat Carrier. So many attempts, so many Blockbuster rentals 😂
No damage in this game? You can not be human, for sure you must be an alien or a robot. I can not believe that there are people who can beat the bosses of a very difficult game like this, without being damaged.
is only the bosses, not FULL GAME
doing a complete 100% in-depth no hit now that is an ungodly challenge
Ikr
I love watching these no damage runs and trying to figure out when I would first take damage. Usually it's very early on LOL
The bosses are pure nightmare fuel just as I remember them.
Yes I also remember when Luke took out his gun and stated to shoot the sarlacc which then burst into flames
This game is nearly impossible to get a no damage run.
This game is nearly impossible.
Its so depressing and awesome at the same time watching this.
Yeah, because this game's challenge was so poorly designed for its target audience
Almost every gamer: Damn! Super Star Wars is SOOOOOO difficult and hard!
Shadowserg: Hold my beer...
Play Super The Empire Strikes Back and THEN comment on how difficult that this game is, Ana Agurto.
@@paxhumana2015 I tried SESB and I couldn't get past the first level. Nintendo Hard, as a phrase, exists for a reason.

All bosses:
1. Sarlacc Pit Monster
2. Lava Beast Jawenko
3. Mutant Womprat
4. Kalhar Boss Monster
5. Maintenance Droid
6. Hover Combat Carrier
7. Imperial Defense Droid
8. Detention Guard Boss
9. Tractor Beam Power Level
10. Darth Vader’s TIE
Obi-Wan didn't deactivate the tractor beam, Luke blew the fucking thing apart with a plasma gun.
who needs the force when you can just spray and pray photon torpedos?
This game trilogy needs a remake
Does anyone else get a bit of a Metroid vibe from the sound and bosses?
Yeah, the Lava Beast sounds almost exactly like Crocomire.
yeah. That’s why this game is awesome. Blasting giant monsters is cool!
Super Metroid + Star Wars = this.

The ultimate game in nostalgia. I wish it could have been included on the SNES classic, but you know...Disney...
Dana's Divination
Yep and don't forget EA.

Same, this was so fucking harsh, so When I See "no damage" I couldn't believe it!!
The sound emulation is wrong, without the fading effects.
ZSNES isn't a good emulator.
Also, terrible video filter used here

That thumbnail's pretty dope.
So, when's the Darth Vader as a Scorpion boss?
That's the mutant womp rat boss
that's in the Japanese Star Wars game for the famicom/nes and the scorpion I think is meant to be a shape-shiftier pretending to be Darth Vader.
Um there's no Darth Vader scorpion shapeshifter... that's the mutant womp rat
Hey, maybe Darth Vader turned INTO the mutant womp rat?
Avgn: He Turn Into To Scorpion
ahhhhh true STAR WARS...
i still own the SNES cartridge of this awesome SW games
and also have them installed in my laptop
I honestly wish that the prequel trilogy, as well as the sequel trilogy, got this video game treatment.
i also loved the episode 1 dreamcast game

Gonna have to go back and watch the OT, pretty sure I missed some of this.

Sorry I'll Try On Another One Hmmm
You got lucky for the first one. Admit that
The thumbnail was hilarious! Luke was like "Oh shit..."
DAMN dude you make these bosses look criminally easy seriously
Sarlacc pit looks like the hardest boss ever.
He was really hard on any difficulty that's not easy. I tried doing something similar to what the guy did in the video here but it never worked.
You gotta actually play the game to fully appreciate how lucky that run was.

God the sound in this game was a fucking nightmare during the more intense battles.
We need a Super Star Wars collection with QOL improvements like rewind and all that. On top of that, also include Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures.
Im really wonder which of these bosses aside from Sharlacc was get to the official Star Wars(or any other SW) canon or maybe both canon and EU canon
