Hey Tim, I picked up what looks to be an early 40s model. The wringer switch is hard to move and the rollers barely turn. It does agitate but it’s due for a new belt, oil and hoses. Do you have any tips on where to get and how to fix some of these things? Thanks! Love your videos btw.
I have a ringer washer like this except my lid is not attached so I’m assuming mine is a little older. But I have a question for you when I ring my clothes out the top part of the ringer raises up and then the clothes will not ring out. Would you have any clue on what would be causing this and why? Thank you
Did you reset the tension the handle on the top of the wringer cap, when you do you will hear a click and the release bar will lock in place then you will have tension. Sounds like it is still in release mode. I demonstrate in my April wash video at the start of the wash. Hope this helps. Would like to see your machine. Tim.
Did you reset the tension? The reset handle is on top turn it clockwise and you will hear a click indicating it is locked in position move the control handle in an operating position and then put your clothes through. I hope that answers your question. Tim
That particular roller was in bad shape when I got it. It had dry rot it had gaps and flat spots the people who had it didn't take care of it they kept the roller under pressure instead of releasing the tension when they were finished with it. Tim
These are the best washers ever made!
They are the best, makes wash day so much fun. I just love mine. Tim 😃

If you don't have any mechanical abilities I'd leave it alone.

@@timkessler4894 Thank you Tim for the advice but we were able to take it to an Amish guy down the road to fix it. But thank you.
