As a business student people often make me feel like my time is wasted in school because you can open a business w/o being in school which is true. However, I understand this conversation so much more than I would if I weren’t in school learning how business works before I jump off the porch & do something I’m not 100% knowledgeable about.

💯 people need to understand it's more behind the glass of an influencer telling you to become an entrepreneur.... they're called an influencer for a reason and not certified MBA.

I’m a business owner and I have a business degree. I can tell you that school great, but application is more import than theory. We can learn everything in the books about starting and managing a the business, but in real life your business will bring up scenarios that they didn’t teach you or that they didn’t prepare you for. In short I just mean that you learn more from actually running your business. The time we spend in school is valuable time that we can be starting the business, making mistakes, learning and growing from them.
I wish you the best with school, it is great to have a degree under your belt!☺️But if you are able to start your business before you leave school, go for it!
Some of the most successful people didn’t have the plan all the way together, but they started any way and learned as they went along. That’s the most important part, “Starting”❤

@@jesslocd thank you. I understand that real life experience is best I just meant that having the education is important. I’ve started a business before going in blind with no education, knowledge, or experience so I believe I’m on the right journey.

The 700K loss is a real scenario. I know of a person who lost over $100K because they failed convert the centimeters to inches measurement’s from their Chinese manufacturer. All the product came is tiny sizes and was completely unusable. They were bankrupt before even starting. Sad but true.

@@sashr8478 tell me about it. Can you imagine everything coming in on a custom order and you came even blame the supplier. It happens more often than anyone would even admit.
Happened to me on a smaller scale with some wig bags… they came too small and I lost $130
