As a business student people often make me feel like my time is wasted in school because you can open a business w/o being in school which is true. However, I understand this conversation so much more than I would if I weren’t in school learning how business works before I jump off the porch & do something I’m not 100% knowledgeable about.

💯 people need to understand it's more behind the glass of an influencer telling you to become an entrepreneur.... they're called an influencer for a reason and not certified MBA.

I’m a business owner and I have a business degree. I can tell you that school great, but application is more import than theory. We can learn everything in the books about starting and managing a the business, but in real life your business will bring up scenarios that they didn’t teach you or that they didn’t prepare you for. In short I just mean that you learn more from actually running your business. The time we spend in school is valuable time that we can be starting the business, making mistakes, learning and growing from them.
I wish you the best with school, it is great to have a degree under your belt!☺️But if you are able to start your business before you leave school, go for it!
Some of the most successful people didn’t have the plan all the way together, but they started any way and learned as they went along. That’s the most important part, “Starting”❤

@@jesslocd thank you. I understand that real life experience is best I just meant that having the education is important. I’ve started a business before going in blind with no education, knowledge, or experience so I believe I’m on the right journey.

The 700K loss is a real scenario. I know of a person who lost over $100K because they failed convert the centimeters to inches measurement’s from their Chinese manufacturer. All the product came is tiny sizes and was completely unusable. They were bankrupt before even starting. Sad but true.

So if you hiring some who does lables per say... sit them in front a computer with a mock product, give them a time limit, throw in a couple surprise obsticles, and walk away.

Omg is anyone else sooooo annoyed by the host? That voice!! GIRL, I can only watch my favorite celebrities because man o man. I know it’s called the ghetto CEO but do we really have to speak so ghetto? And where are the question cards? Without those question cards the host tends to interrupt what the celebrities are saying too often. Let them speak! Quit cutting them off. And ask the questions we really want to know because it’s rare to get certain celebrities to sit down and really speak heart to heart. Judy goes live all the time but she doesn’t have the opportunity to answer every question that people ask. She has to pick and choose. I want to see this podcast successful, so if anybody knows this host, please tell her to take notes from seasoned hosts and do something about the squeaky high voice. Help us help you.
