These women all come from reality tv. Then go to a reality tv show for real life issues with a "spiritual dula". Iyanla is very good at what she does. However, these women need professional help with a clinician. Go to a therapist in private. To help you with your real life issues. Their expectations are off. It's a tv show. Of course some of what is going on is playing up to the cameras for ratings. And they do that a little bit while still maintaining Iyanla's integrity as a healer. But make it clear, she is not a psychotherapist. That is what they really need in real life.
They went on thinking it was another reality show for them somewhere they can be seen!
Aside from what Lisa’s father was doing in his private life , his death was a loss to the community being that he provided jobs and opportunities for others.

1) Iyanla isn’t a therapist. She has a degree in law. 2) Iyanla is a life coach, who’s job is to hold you accountable as you reach your life goals. 3) A therapist deals with the emotional gunshot wounds that you put a band aid on. None of them are getting their lives fixed🤷🏾♀️

@kwf kwf I also think she would do and accept anything to keep her from going back to Mississippi. I had an aunt that was just like that. She always thought people were dumb for not leaving home. Once her husband was finished with her, she was glad to see her siblings in Mississippi again.
