- Drain and fill transfer-case and rear differential fluid with 75W-90 gear oil.
This service should be done every two years to keep gearboxes clean and lubricated. This will also affect drive shafts with optimal performance.
There is a side filler plug you must loosen first before loosening the drain plug. Then pump in the gear oil through the side filler hole. The gearboxes will be full when gear oil comes spilling back out the top of side filler hole.

@@jasonb4566 Glad to hear it. Dealerships need an equalizer such as more people as yourself. This will keep them in check.
What is the rear differential capacity of 75/90 gear oil for a 2019 Sorento V6 AWD?

The transfer case is the front differential right? I have a Sportage 2014 and don’t think there is transfer case that is separate from the front differential
Right. If you have a front differential and you don't know if it's a transfer case, just look up the oil type it takes and how much. That will be all that matters; the right oil regardless being called transfercase or front differential.
What song is this? I've been trying to find it everywhere
Its in the description
Awesome!
How much gear oil did you use to do both front and back… I’ll be doing this service this weekend…
Just use until it overflows.
Will do, thx!
How many should I buy to service the front and back?
Maybe 3 bottles as you see in the video. You can always return an unopen bottle. 👍
Cool man thx…. Great video! Thank you for your help👊🏻
How do you check the transfer case oil level???
Its in the video
@@AutomotiveForBeginners : I was referring to a dipstick which there isn’t. Not an easy task
