- Taking my Galano Audi S3 to 600whp or above?! Well we might be as I unbox my new Arashi Kuro GTX3076r Gen 2 Ball bearing turbo! This is a turbo I’ve been waiting to run for awhile but didn’t see much info. Mike Risch went 5.9 60-130 in his manual GTI so theres room for potential to go fast with this turbo!
The quality is exceptionally high and truly shocked me at the level of detail they put towards their turbos! Overall I can’t wait to pair this up with Galano and see what it will do!

Which turbo did you pick up that was "bigger" for the built motor....if you dont mind saying?
PagParts TRX900, been sitting on my shelf but much more turbo than the stock motor can handle. Vortex xl is old technology and this new turbo will fully use the stock motor to its capabilities and im going to prove/show that it can take it no issue and raise the bar higher than we previously thought these cars could handle for a daily
@Forbidden.s3 my car has a built motor but it's my daily so I don't need it to be a max effort setup. Mid-5s 60-130 is probably as fast as it need to be in an attempt to preserve the transmission. Makes me wonder if this turbo, the Typhoon or any one of another of the many options would be best. I currently have a G25-660...
Are you building up the motor too ?
@@brazibeatz5187 no this turbo is to be used for the stock motors full potential, I have a even bigger turbo that I will be using when I decided to build this motor but not necessary at all to build it for this power level still. S3/R’s engine can handle way more than a standard GTI/A3 motor
@@Forbidden.s3hey man correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the bottom ends are the same in the GTI as the S3 but the heads are what is different
@ nope, they opened the block and they are completely different bottom end and top, big company did a side by side comparison and the S3/R block is built differently. They did it exactly to prove if there was a difference or not and there is a big difference between them. Even piston heads and compression ratio is different. GTI/A3 motor is 9.6:1 and S3/R is 9.3:1 . So its literally out there with photos but if you still like to believe the old myth be my guest. The entire long block housing is built differently not just the head. Ive been working and building these cars for 5 years now, dont need to spew false information
@@Forbidden.s3 interesting, I never knew that. I’m an s3 owner myself. This gives me more confidence to go Vortex XL. What was the video with the comparison? I wanna see the breakdown
@ wasn’t a video, it was a post with photos of each part of the block compared, cams, everything. The s3 has bigger cams, bigger everything, they are totally not the same engine. I wish I could remember the post but I literally forgot the company who posted it up. Its on instagram but cant find it for the life of me.
