I have the same year truck 1948 and i cant find anything on the truck on if its a positive ground or a negative ground. The connection to the starter was sized for a negative post. Just wondering on how yours is hooked up.
Yes mine is positive ground goes straight to the frame by battery box

Poor old classic Dodge has lived a very hard life. It deserves to be restored and out back on the road even if just as a light load utility truck.
I have pretty much the same truck. It also has no brakes. I wonder what happens to those as they sit around.

Had a B-4-B for over 30 years. Did a lot of work on it over that time. It did a lot of work for me over that time, too. Memories...
Mopar engineering at its finest. This truck would be fun to drive around. New brakes, oil change and some cleaning.
