Most underrated receiver out there
We got a physical beast, in Metcalf, and this quick stud who can shake anybody! I love it. Can't wait for the season.
Guy runs a 4.40 athletic and he can run routes. We bout to be throwing more than ever. Finally we got WRs bigger than 6'0 for Russ. They not only have size but they got speed. Love it.
The top end speed is nice but it's really not important in a slot receiver. You need a guy who is quick in making moves and changing direction. (get open) Seems like he has some flexibility to play more than the slot.
@@Jordan-Ramses hes more than just a slot WR, but with Moore on the outside... him and Ty will have more snaps inside. Hes got top speed, big body, athleticism and hes a descent route runner.

It all starts with the run. Are team establishes the run then use play action pass. It's nice finally getting athletic big body wr.
@@Cody-ec3bt Metcalf actually has better tape at the combine and his pro day than in his highlights. He dips his hips, Ole Miss deferred to AJ Brown and Lodge more than him. He was baiscally more of a decoy imo. They didnt even let him run more routes they just used him as a 1 trick pony, and they had a shit QB.

Lol i told my dad that when i saw it but that was on Russ and Kearse for getting jammed. That ball should have been in Lockette's body not leading him and throwing it into Butlers body.
Lockette was not a polished receiver. It bit the Seahawks on that play that ball should have been incomplete at worst. Butler made a great play but it shouldn't have been a pick. If you're throwing on timing you are inherently trusting your receivers to get to the spot.
@@Jordan-Ramses dude, it was a bullet leading him to the endzone. The only thing he can do is reach out for it. Thats Russ's fault for leading him, petes fault for getting cute and Kearse's fault for getting jammed so bad.
@@Jordan-Ramses its not just the WR getting to the spot it was a short play and a quick slant. No way that ball should have led hom to the endzone. That ball should have been thrown in the body so no one can catch it but Lockette.

And the guy cant even gst open in single coverage unless it's a straight up speed route.. the only time he got open in college was when sills was drawing a double coverage because he had already scored 2tds and 70yds and Gary wouldn't have crap and he is basically nonexistent in the redzone because he doesnt have enough room to just use his speed... also he already has the AB "look at me and what I can do and I'm more important than the team" attitude and doesnt even have the skill that AB has in his little finger

Yeah...an injury prone recieber who disnt even manage to stay healthy for one full year in college and couldnt even beat single coverage on anything other than speed go routes and is nonexistent in the redzone

Up until osu every play was against terrible coverage. Not really a great representation of what he can do. Maybe he just played against teams with terrible secondaries, but he does make the most of his opportunities.
Our recievers are gonna be Lockett and Metcalf on the outside, Jennings slot, and Moore as a 4th

Everyone thinks a rookie is the answer without giving MVS or EQ the opportunity devante had in his 2nd year. They have talent at wr they need oline help so rodgers doesnt have to scramble every play and rodgers needs to take the open check down receiver instead of ignoring him to look for the deep ball
