I've been saying this for YEARS. Sacrifice should be unique in that it should require a 2 hand weapon and deal AOE damage. This would make for a super unique style of Paladin play. This style of play would mainly be for pvm and have players focusing on life leech for that AOE.

There's no reason for it to be melee only tbh.

Paladin gets everything for melee and no one even plays him.
Make it work on bows except bowadins would just die faster because no amount of life leech and regen would save you... ugh

Whirlwind doesn't do aoe / splash dmg, that is a common misconception. You do some single target hits only, thats why IAS improved it.
