My parents had C3 Audi 100, outstanding comfort for that time and even more outstanding durability, but also it's amazing how huge is the evolution to current A6...

Yeah, looks like some Chinese ebay aftermarket thing. Absolutely horrible. Every time you are trying to make something look like something else - it ends badly - fake wood, fake leather, plastic that looks like metal... all terrible.
@@Alby911 well your IQ is about 80 if you think that cars with diesel engine need real exhausts, it's all very nice when the car is new but what about after 150 000 km or more when it starts to blow black smoke in your face while you are driving behind them. Only Audi RS models need to have real exhaust, all other should not have any exhaust at all.
@@elukok Hopefully you can learn more about the suppply chain of vehicle in China, definetely you will find the higher quality products you want with more money, people come to Chinese market just for cost performance.
Great review! Really looking forward to see what they do with the C8 RS6. Hopefully they remove the chrome trim on the boot lid and offer real exhausts. Otherwise a really nice evolution of the A6 family.

Why didn’t they pick the 360 degrees camera with this car? It’s just a 300 something euro option with the business package... well generally it’s a really great car and it’s so gorgeous but I’d spec it differently.. S Line inside and out and black outside
Actually when the car is sailing it DOES consume fuel, as the engine does not shut down, it is still on and it's just idling. Because there is no engine braking occurring, in ideal conditions you can go further using the gained momentum and thus consume less fuel, but the engine still uses some.
Great review Thomas. Why do the premium brands still charge so much for adaptive cruise? I’m looking at the A6, 5 series and others. They all charge a large amount as it’s only available in bundles. Also makes it hard to find a pre-registered one with this optioned.
Nice review, but one important remark: Those blue huge towers you noticed are no speed checking flashing units, there are just used to collect the toll from truck drivers using the country roads!!! So no need to brake! Only the gray and black colored towers are really checking for the speed limits and make you pay in case you are overspeeding! :-)
The color scheme is amazing, blue exterior with bege interior is awsome. The noise at 100 km/h, in the video, doesn't look nothing special. And the windshield wippers make a lot of noise. Great video.
31:35 Thomas you dont have to break for those, these are the new Truck Maunt Systems since trucks now also have to pay Maunt on Country roads as well ^^ thats why they are painted in blue ^^ its so funny to see people break for those and I m just passing them like "yo dude watch some news and dont be such a psycho for speed traps" xD It was a pretty nice review, I am living in "Mörfelden-Walldorf" so I know the roads you have driven pretty well and I must say, that the A6 seems to be really really really quiet, especially on the motorway. Usually it is getting pretty loud in cars on that bit of the highway because of the harsh tarmac, but the a6 handled it pretty well. I really love the contrast stitching on the doors, but I hope you dont just get those nice contrast stiches with the full leather equipment...

Hey Thomas, This is another great review by your organization! I was wondering for a simple opinion - which car interior is your favourite in terms of ergonomics and beauty - Audi A6 combi or M. Benz E class T model? My personal opinion is that the Benz has the edge because of the better screen positioning and the additional wheel infotainment system. Thanks in advance and best wishes!
Just when you see this car you know that people, who tell you that you pay extra just because of the brand, are talking bs. It is much more expensive because you get much better build quality, full stop. Just look exterior chrome trim around the doors and compare it to Renault or Opel and everything will be clear

Worried about speedcam? Just use ACC whenever possible, I do even at 30kph in city areas. Thomas would you pick A6 avant or A7 of similar engine/price? (Lift back in both cases)
I decided against an A4 Allroad, because it is a little tight for my bigger frame and not much rear passenger room. However, this car would be much different. Unfortunately, they do not sell it here in the US. Schade.
