Iron Bog Lake is one of my favorites to hike to! The first 1/4 mile is the toughest then it's smooth sailing the rest of the way. My family used to camp there right before the road crosses and stays north of the creek, before the designated campground.
When my kids were little I would tell them the gargoyles lived in those rocks and would fly out once it became dark. They curled up under a blanket by the fire watching for them to emerge. It took them years to realize the gargoyles were actually nighthawks.

These rock formation at 5:15min look so "mysterious" and majestic
