@@cokolo5535 you are having a much better experience than I did then lol. I hated high school so much. Not as much as grade school/middle school but it was not kind to me.

Yeah, I’m the exact same. Persona 4 reminds me of simpler times, and makes me feel very nostalgic about my time in school. You’re waiting for that last bell to ring so that you can go laze around and kill time with friends. There’s not really much to do, but that doesn’t matter when you have good company. It helps that the music is so charming and homely too. Really nails the tone that they were going for. That’s one thing it does better than the other nu-Persona games, in my opinion. It’s more true to the actual experience of being a teenager; what it’s like to develop those important relationships that make you who you are, alongside discovering yourself as a person individually. It’s beautiful. I’ll always love this game.
Persona 4 was one of the first games I played after I got out of high school. I just started working and had all the free time in the world after work. It was a couple months before covid started. I think that was the happiest time of my life. I then played persona 5. Covid was declared a pandemic the same day I signed up for classes, which meant I had the thrown together online shit plus work on top of that. Happiest part of that time was playing P5 until 4 in the morning even though I had to be up at 7:30 for class. I'd finish work and do homework until 12 AM and would get right back to Persona. That was 2 years ago. Time flies and Persona is still my favorite, even after all the banger games we've had over the years.
Man, this takes me back. Persona 4 Golden is my favorite game of all time, but I did play the original Persona 4 when it launched back in 2008. It was perfect timing for me as well, for it was during my second year in highschool, exactly the same as the characters in the game. I was addicted by the game, truly fell in love with the characters, felt this feeling of emptiness when I beat the game, it was unlike any other game I've played back then. On an emotional level, it also transports my consciousness to a better time, a simpler time, where my biggest troubles feel trivial and laughable now. The friendships, the times we had, the drama and bonds built when we prepared for a school play, the world that existed back then, the people I love who were still alive, the feeling all that gave me. Then there's the realization that it will never be repeated, that sense of dread that these beautiful emotions will only remain a memory. An overwhelming mix of emotions.
i couldn't put what this mix made me feel in words, but you did. thank you! (also WOW same, i was second year HS when OG P4 came out and it changed my entire life and worldview for the better.)
I agree. During my senior year, I got P4 in December of 2008 on a whim from a suggestion at someone in GameCrazy within the Hollywood Video. Little did I know that it would become one of my favorite games of all time. P4G just cranked it up a notch.
Finished P4G today, can't uninstall it just because it feels like i'm going away from good memories But your playlist helped me stayed with P4G without the game, great job!
I think the best part of listening to this is that sense I'm going to a new school for my sophomore year, it'll feel exactly like the persona games. New friends, new environments, social management, and time balancing. This series is truly inspiring to me.

Persona 4 Golden is a special game to me. I had a few aquaintances that were Persona fans, and they recommended me P4G since it was being realeased on Steam. At first, I wasn't convinced to whether play it or not, since it's been a while since it's release and that kind of stuff. But I gave it an opportunity and at first, it was a bit boring, but then, when I started to get to know the characters, specially Yosuke and Kanji, I knew P4G would be my favorite game of all times. The characters felt real, like they had normal teenager problems, they didn't had fake personalities, not even Rise (since she's an idol), the Investigation Team was amazing. Another thing I loved about the game was its OST. It's calming, but at the same time makes you want to dance. One of those aquaintances of mine, commited suicide. It still hurts me, they were really important to me, I saw them as an incredible person, I wanted to be like them. Persona 4 teached me that I have to discover who I really am, I do not have to copy anyone nor like anything someone else likes just to fit in a group. Today I can finally say I'm discovering who I am, what do I like. As the song says: "Life goes on with or without you , I swim in the sea of the unconscious, I search for your heart, pursuing my true self."

I'm not sure why but whenever I listen to the Persona 4 soundtrack I tend to get this warm feeling in my stomach. It's pretty rare for music to ever make me feel this way
Persona 4 is designed in such a way that it makes you feel nostalgia towards it even during your first playthrough. They nailed the emotional aspect of this game perfectly, and it's due partly to how the music was designed and used. I'm convinced of that
Man, you didn't need to add an intro or making the smoothest transition in history(the signs of love to heartbeat, heartbreak one) and yet, the madlad did it and I wouldn't want it any other way.
This is a game I have literally put thousands of hours into and this all just makes me feel super nostalgic for my high school days when I was playing it.
persona 4 was my first persona game, and I remember humming to the music a lot during my playthroughs. listening to these songs again really brings back those feelings of remembering your first love dskjfskdfjs as p4 is the game that also got me to become a persona fan. thank you for the sweet playlist!
Yep first Persona game for me too. I only roughly remember how I came across it but I remember being totally absorbed. I adore the social links for the most part in this game esp with the main cast when compared to P5. P5 social links felt more like school 'colleagues' rather than school friends IMO. Love the vibe they all have going on in here, it's the only persona game that's made me laugh out loud IRL for a lot of scenes too.
I am using this as my background music for weeks already while studying programming for my job. I love playing this mix because it reminds me the lessons I got when playing Persona games like your time is limited and you will grow in a skill or area with whatever you put your time consistently. Thank you for this music mix!
I have listened to the Persona 5 Cafe music playlist you have more times than I can count, and I can't believe that it took me this long to find out that you made a sequel. Regardless, I'm happy that I found it at all, thanks for making these. :)
The intro, transitions of music/scenery, and background noise really add that extra something to this mix. The knowledge increase noise at the end was a nice touch, too. I will be using this mix a ton! You da man!
i finished this game recently. on my last year of highschool. even though these weren’t my best years, i can’t even complain much. things started to get better little by little anyways. i know i will probably miss these youthful days, coming back to school, playing this game, and having fun. this is enough for me to be happy. this game holds a special place on my heart. being the same age as the main team and being someone who didnt really had a lot of friends made me sort of lonely but at the same time in other parts i got nostalgia. its a nice feeling, it reminds me how little i really am
I feel you. Was shy myself backthen and now the opposite. You shouldve just said "fck it" and just be yourself and talk to anyone. But its too late now. Same for me speaking bout school. In Everyday life i defintely changed 180. But i didnt even had the chance to play this Artwork back then. It wouldve motivated and changed me even sooner. But yea youre right, you will defintely miss those days. Being a adult sucks so much. I hope you are doing well I love you the way you are
@@marginaliia its alright anyone should be kind to each other. Here in germany my fellow landspeople are very cold and and weirdos. But that doesent mean anyone should care about what people should think. Just stay true to yourseld and think that there are so many people in the world, that if someone doesent like you for who you are, then there are many more who will do. Just express yourself and dont let anyone bring you down to their low level so they can feel better because you would feel as crappy as them. Misery likes company and same goes for happiness. Just talk to people you like and if they shoot you down dont feel bad you will learn through it
I only started playing P4G about a year or 2 ago when i got a PSVita. Somehow it felt like a game i had played years ago and was reconnecting with it again years later
Thanks so much for this. It’s clear that a fair amount of effort went into making this mix flow seamlessly (the transitions are very well done) and setting the right mood (the rain and the nice intro to ease you into it). With how much of a relaxing effect that Persona 4 and its soundtrack have on me, I can tell this is going to help for those long and stressful nights of studying/working.
I've been pulling up this mix in the morning for well over a month while I grind through my morning emails. Today however, my dog decided that the footsteps, door opening, and greeting all meant that we were being invaded and tore around the house barking. +For making me feel like a main character while doing mundane tasks. ++For dog activation levels of realism.
love this so much! started the video with an empty document, finished with a whole essay. the little "stat up" jingle as soon as I finished really made me smile :)
this music really helped me after a girl I told I liked rejected me, this really helped me get out that sadness thank you so much for putting this together
I used to be one of those persona 5 fans who glazed persona 5 but ever since buying persona 4 golden out of curiosity its as if my eyes opened. The gameplay the music the story the characters i fell in love with all of it. It may not have graphics of p3r or p5r but it will always and forever be Golden
i really appreciate the effort you put into this video!! intro and everything. It's my favourite mix because it actually includes some lesser known/used chill songs as well, especially from dancing all night. thanks so much and please keep up the good work!
It was my first persona game too, at the time which was like last year, I was pretty much burnt out from video games. No video game really was fun anymore. At that time I had bought a couple different games even thought I didn't feel like playing any of them immediately. But I tried playing P4G and instantly I could tell this game was different from others as soon as i heard the intro, i liked it alot. It wasn't until i was finally placed in the world and setting where i liked it even more. I remember the moment i fell in love with the game. It was when you took a break from the car ride and "signs of love" played. I barley played the game and fell in love already.
the fact that you have the intro and then tell us that we leveled up at the end...pure satisfaction. i love using this while focusing at work, so thank you!
I've put this video in the background while working this year a lot of times. I made it through the uni year and here we go again for a new year with your videos. Thank you!
This motivates me so much when it comes to studying, I like to think I’m increasing my knowledge and intelligence stats when I’m doing my work. Same thing goes for working out. You dont force yourself, you just grind to get better stats
Persona 4 was the best. After I moved to a new town and barely knew anyone I still had the feeling of having fun friends and school. After a while that success reflected in my real grades, best time of my live almost.
26:48 - I can't relax while I watch at it! JUST. PICK. THIS. DAMN. QUEST. ALREADY! Jokes apart, great mix. Thank you! It seems, I never was SO concentrated on my studies before.
This compilation just makes me day and honestly could listen to it in any scenario and activity, the nako greet was super cute. Man P4 is for me, one of the best persona games (and is my favorite and number 1) Like any persona ost it's really good, but i love the mix man, characters are probably the best written ones in the franchise (really grounded in their own way and honestly just so good), the theme of the game is timeless, the endings and scenarios just hits! Narukami is a Chad and got probably one of the best adaptation in other medias too TvT i love P4
man this playlist deserves more love and views, super nostalgic whenever p4 tracks play it can make me cry - have been listening on repeat to get me through my late night work/mugging ps. gotta say kanji is still best girl.
just finished persona 4 golden today, the first persona game i ever beat. i feel empty, i miss the investigation team and inaba so much already. this game's story, characters and themes hit me at the right time of my life in college where i felt so confused about who i am and who i want to be, and helped me face myself and discover how i want to live my life. i've only taken the first few steps, but i wasn't able to make the realization that i want to change without these characters. this is more than just a game, it's a stylish, wonderful experience that lifts you out of your darkest times. i hope this game will get the persona 3 reload treatment one day.
This is my favorite playlist for work. It's the only one that actually does help me focus. Yu Narukami beats the lofi girl anytime. Also Persona 4 is my fave Persona. Just wanna thank you for creating this playlist. 💛💚🧡
this game is what helped push me to self-improve as a person. This game means alot to me, if anyone here hasn't played it, please do yourself a favor it's a bit of a rocky start but i promise it's worth it. plus it's being re-released on pretty much every platform so you might as well!
I was just wondering why I’m so drawn to this soundtrack. Why is it so good? So amazing? So iconic? Maybe because we can see the scenes in our head when it plays? Maybe the instrumentation? The songs aren’t even like crazy or complicated. They are simple yet beautiful and elegant and classy and idk. I’m ranting but such an amazing yet simple soundtrack.
It gives me nostalgia, and I didn´t even play the game or lived in the 90´s (I think it sounds like something out of the 90´s) I´m sure that if you could turn on a radio in game it would be like this playlist. The way I feel about this probably has something to do with the fact I´m becoming so drawn to the game so suddenly tho, it´s interesting how music affects people
@@carobell8486 It has elements from many different eras of music, which is why it might feel timeless to you. Disco strings and funky envelope-filtered guitars from the 70s, "acid house" beats and pads which started in the late 80s and gives some songs that airy bounce, trip-hop vocals on those ballads (mid-late 90s), psychedelic-trance synths from the 00s (beginning/post-chorus of My Affection is a great example), and of course there's some hip-hop sampling through the whole thing, and getting trapped in those loops can feel profound. Meguro is really good, man. You can tell he poured a lot of passion into this.
Yessss, Thank you so much for this. I have some of the P4 music mixed into some of my playlists, but I don't have a bunch of this ofc and it's fresh and funky :)

Man, you didn't need to add an intro or making the smoothest transition in history(the signs of love to heartbeat, heartbreak one) and yet, the madlad did it and I wouldn't want it any other way.
TRANSITIONS SMOOTHER THAN BUTTER LETS GOOOO
Thank you for making this!! Persona 4 was the game that actually inspired me to study more. I'm saving this to my study playlist!!
It may not have been intentional, but the rain becoming way quieter when Your Affection plays is a nice touch, given it only plays on sunny days
The transitions between each of the songs put this above other mixes
Having Nanako say Welcome Back made me smile unreasonably wide.
Can we all agree the persona series has fire music always?
I hope you are doing well I love you the way you are
@@AbuHajarAlBugatti thank you for this kind message. i will try my best to form many more connections with people :)
Just talk to people you like and if they shoot you down dont feel bad you will learn through it
I love this game so much. It feels so alive... and I'm dead inside because I miss all my friends from Inaba so much 😢
My exact feelings😭I wish I could replay it for the first time again
Yu's room seems very cozy
Thank you for this mix! It has consistently been my go-to study tape for this past year.
this makes me smile so much. All the persona games OSTs are just goated as hell.
Iv played many games in my life but Persona4 golden will forever hold a special place in my ❤️
I only started playing P4G about a year or 2 ago when i got a PSVita. Somehow it felt like a game i had played years ago and was reconnecting with it again years later
i love this genre of music! Really miss this game so much
you don't know how much i've missed nanako saying welcome back
That knowledge increase at the end was so satisfying.
Thanks so much for this. It’s clear that a fair amount of effort went into making this mix flow seamlessly (the transitions are very well done) and setting the right mood (the rain and the nice intro to ease you into it).
With how much of a relaxing effect that Persona 4 and its soundtrack have on me, I can tell this is going to help for those long and stressful nights of studying/working.
i really appreciate the fact that you even used inaba's rain sound to create this video. masterpiece
Persona 4/4g is one of the greatest games of all time
finishing this game just made me feel so sad. i hate the feeling of ending a game. thank you for bringing me back with this rad playlist
love this so much! started the video with an empty document, finished with a whole essay. the little "stat up" jingle as soon as I finished really made me smile :)
Yo that Reasoning -> Youthful Lunch transition though
that's sick
The little intro bit makes me UNREASONABLY happy
this music really helped me after a girl I told I liked rejected me, this really helped me get out that sadness thank you so much for putting this together
First time?
I used to be one of those persona 5 fans who glazed persona 5 but ever since buying persona 4 golden out of curiosity its as if my eyes opened. The gameplay the music the story the characters i fell in love with all of it.
It may not have graphics of p3r or p5r but it will always and forever be
Golden
You should try out SMT too! SMT V Vengeance is coming soon it'll be peak
This is so good! Not even just to study, just to remember the game. Playing the first time through was incredible.
i really appreciate the effort you put into this video!! intro and everything. It's my favourite mix because it actually includes some lesser known/used chill songs as well, especially from dancing all night. thanks so much and please keep up the good work!
idk how many times i already heard this entire video, thanks my brother
Do i need to bring up how amazing the transition from alone to step was?!? Like... Wow that was smooth
I barley played the game and fell in love already.
without ever failing, the transition from signs of love to heartbeat heartbreak at 4:13 always gets me. so cleannnnn!
the fact that you have the intro and then tell us that we leveled up at the end...pure satisfaction. i love using this while focusing at work, so thank you!
Same time, same feeling is such an underrated track. Happy to see it get some love, it’s one of my favorite calming persona tracks :)
The transition at 13:49 is surprisingly good 😳
The loops are clean and the transitions are perfect. Great work
the nostalgia hitting hard yet also soft and soothing
Dude the last ost of this video... Only tears. I have a lot of good memories about this game. Now my Knowledge has increased. Thank you for this mix
Thank you! It seems, I never was SO concentrated on my studies before.
this is the most well-made persona mix i've ever watched
HEARTBEAT HEARTBREAK IT KEEPS ON POUNDING🔥🔥
thank u so much I listen to this for like 8 hours a week it puts me into a TRANCE
I love how even Yu takes short breaks throughout the video and now I'm taking a short break too.
This compilation just makes me day and honestly could listen to it in any scenario and activity, the nako greet was super cute.
Man P4 is for me, one of the best persona games (and is my favorite and number 1)
Like any persona ost it's really good, but i love the mix man, characters are probably the best written ones in the franchise (really grounded in their own way and honestly just so good), the theme of the game is timeless, the endings and scenarios just hits! Narukami is a Chad and got probably one of the best adaptation in other medias too TvT i love P4
The video intro of Yu walking home hits hard for me. Such a great game.
man this playlist deserves more love and views, super nostalgic whenever p4 tracks play it can make me cry - have been listening on repeat to get me through my late night work/mugging
ps. gotta say kanji is still best girl.
Feel u
just finished persona 4 golden today, the first persona game i ever beat. i feel empty, i miss the investigation team and inaba so much already. this game's story, characters and themes hit me at the right time of my life in college where i felt so confused about who i am and who i want to be, and helped me face myself and discover how i want to live my life. i've only taken the first few steps, but i wasn't able to make the realization that i want to change without these characters. this is more than just a game, it's a stylish, wonderful experience that lifts you out of your darkest times. i hope this game will get the persona 3 reload treatment one day.
This is my favorite playlist for work. It's the only one that actually does help me focus. Yu Narukami beats the lofi girl anytime.
Also Persona 4 is my fave Persona. Just wanna thank you for creating this playlist.
💛💚🧡
This is truly the best playlist.
this playlist was what got me into persona 4. I beat it a couple days ago and now im starting 5, thank you.
聞き親しんだ楽曲だからこそ勉強が捗る。
the transition into specialist is so good
this game is what helped push me to self-improve as a person. This game means alot to me, if anyone here hasn't played it, please do yourself a favor it's a bit of a rocky start but i promise it's worth it. plus it's being re-released on pretty much every platform so you might as well!
perfect for a rainy season 💛
This is inspiring me to study harder for my engineering exams! P4G is one of the best games ever. My knowledge has increased!
You can tell he poured a lot of passion into this.
and I forgot those saccharine 80s new jack swing horns too! crazy.
Yessss, Thank you so much for this. I have some of the P4 music mixed into some of my playlists, but I don't have a bunch of this ofc and it's fresh and funky :)
the transitions makes me feel so happy. good work bro
reverie -> smile, that was the best thing my ears have ever been blessed with.
Everytime I hear "Heartbeat, Heartbreak" I just start milly rocking for no reason. Such a god tier song
*Heartbeat, Heartbreak*
This song always makes me go back to Persona 4.
The OG study mix of all.
posture check
Seriously one of the best mixes ever, helped me so much with my audio editing & art
whoever made this playlist single-handedly carried me thru the end of hs and now uni🙏🙏🙏
idk why youtube keeps recomending me this but i like it
I use this playlist every time I have to do focus work, the knowledge at the end is the cherry on top
Man I love Persona 4 💛
The first transition was fantastic
This is my favourite video on UA-cam, now
