A couple months after, I played Persona 5 Royal for the first time and I loved it. The music, the characters, the stylish artstyle all captivated me and sucked me into immersion. It's been 3 years for me already, since I first played Vanilla P5 around the time Covid hit. I remember sitting there on my bed starting the game at night. Little 13 yr old me wasn't prepared for how much this game would change me as a gamer and as a person. Sure, I wasn't of age much, but hey. The ending of Royale was literally what happened to me months after, having to say goodbye to my friends of that time, even thought tomorrow we are going to dinner together we are not close like we where before, we are still friends but it changed. That's the reason why i loved the game and it's soundtrack, it's a great mix to listen because it also remebers me of my friends, so thanks!

I've played this game like 4 year ago, this playlist reminds me when I was 18, when life was simple, I've had fun with friends at school every day and didn't have big responsibilities. Now these soundtracks give me something nostalgic, it's only been 4 years but my life now is that of an adult who works and no longer studies, has responsibilities and duties. Who knows if one day I will be able to get back that lightheartedness of those days. Anyway, great videogame, I've just started a new run on Nintendo Switch.
Finished my first playthrough of this game last weekend after playing off and on for 3 years (life happens). I'm glad I did, and I'm even happier to browse all of this music now without fear of spoilers. Many thanks for the upload!
this video holds so much importance to me. i've been preparing for my uni entrance exams this year and i don't know the amount of times this played in the background while i was studying. it's perfect in every aspect.
This brings back so many memories. I remember looking on the PS5 game library and seeing Persona 5. I thought it looked interesting so I decided to download it and start playing. I immediately fell in love with the game when we were jumping across the chandeliers and running across signs. The cutscenes really brought it all together. It gave you an idea about who this character was, and I was all for it. I googled what his cannon name was (Ren Amamiya) and gave it to him. I thought the game was just going to be the fighting turn based game it showed at the beginning, but when I got to go to the street and walked around, I saw persona for what it was. Best 110 hours of my life. (P.s. I'm about 20 something hours into Strikers and I am LOVING IT!)
The music of Persona games are the best I swear! I only played Persona 3 portable Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 but their OST is so different from other traditional JRPGS it makes them special. I can easily just fall asleep with them playing in the background. Oh and every day's great at your Junes!
The P4 song actually fits great in this mix (and who can resist peppering in all the hits), but it did make my head snap up and make me go "hey, that's from 4..."
I feel bad for anyone who hasn't played this game. An absolute masterpiece with one of the greatest soundtracks not only in the series, but in any video game.
The phantom thieves are the best set of friends I've ever had. its such a memorable experience, and I'll cherish the memories I've had when i first tried out the game on a cold winter night. And that was a journey. The peril, the sadness, the laughter. I felt like they were... real friends, those who didn't slander me, those who cared for me, and those who made me smile. I'll never have the same experience with other JRPGS like dragon quest xi s. Thank you Atlus for making this beautiful game.
persona 5 was the last JRPG i played, dont have time for long games like that anymore, started university when it came out and it was a really nice unwind from all the overload of classes i was doing (if youre starting Uni, consider not doing a double major all u freshmen out there). persona 5 surprised me with the sentiment and message it was delivering. finding your own justice! rebelling against the societal norms that hold you back. disdain towards the system and how corrupt and vile it is? this game was a great outlet for the very same feelings i have. also i just have wavy black hair and the same glasses. all my friends said i resemble the protag lol, what a fun surprise when it was teased all those years ago. anyways, listening to this mix was used a lot during my final semester of studying and senior projects. it takes me back to the nostalgia i felt when i would live with my aunts and uncles in tokyo, sydney, and manilla when my parents were unable to look after me over summers as a teen. i related to that detached sense of starting over somewhere new and foreign with the persona series, the steady slice of the day by day, building memories and relationships with family and friends. being back in america now leaves a lot to be desired though, i wish i could catch a train and meet up with friends in different districts of a dense metropolis. persona 5 brings me back memories of my time in japan.
Listening to these tracks instantly brings me back to happy stress free days when I use to play this game non-stop. Now it's all work and responsibility. Not that life is bad, but playing PS5R was one of the best experiences of my life.
when i last played this game i was lonely, sitting in my room and practically losing my mind from anxiety and depressive thoughts. it calmed me down and gave me a life to live that isn't full of the trauma i have experienced. now i'm doing better than ever with an amazing, gorgeous girlfriend who i want to spend the rest of my days with. i will love this game forever for picking me up when i had no hope left.
Not the only one though. It is incredible to see how many people persona has helped, it feels as if the phantom thieves were really alive and here helping us. Definetively atlus made a check mate with them, they fr took our hearts
I would just like to give a big thank you to atlus for making this brilliant soundtrack as it has really helped me getting through finals in collage. I love everything about this game it honestly deserves a Grammy alone because of the soundtrack so thank you so much to the amazing minds at atlus for creating this much love!!
It's been super hot where I am right now, and the sound of rain somehow made me feel a little bit cooler. Awesome track and rain edit, gonna listen to this while I work
took me a full 2 years to finally beat p5 royal, just didn't want the journey to actually be over. I had played p5 when it first came out and it only took me about a month to fully complete, but royal just really hit different. i started it a year before i moved across the country away from all my family and friends and got to about futaba's, so it felt like finishing the game would kinda erase the last part of me that was still "home". finished the game yesterday and i think it'll be very difficult to really dive into a story as much as i did this game. it's so good at making you feel like you've built actual relationships with the characters you choose to invest your time in which is something a lot of games in this genre can struggle with. usually it's either a grand multi-layer story that kinda throws some characters to the wayside to make the main character feel way more like an epic protagonist, but somehow p5 perfectly fleshed out the main character through the supporting cast. if you're here just listening to the music and haven't actually played persona 5, you're really missing out on one of the purest forms of JRPG video gaming. 11/10, hope you all find your Leblanc
It's been like 6 or 7 years since ive played this game, and I still have this soundtrack stuck in my head. It's so good. Beneath the Mask is always the first one that comes to mind.
Thank you very much. I nearly never comment but yours is a very fine playlist. I could listen to it for hours. This ambience is gold and gives an incredible boost to an already stunning soundtrack (even the video is very well chosen). My current favourite tracks are Alleycat and Beneath the Mask, they have such a nostalgic taste. I'm sorry for any mistakes but I'm not a native speaker. For those of you who are reading, have a nice time chilling here.
Thank you, it's the only playlist I can listen to while studying. I just finished Royal and it was a really great experience. I didn't realize how the music played a huge part in that. 🎶
I've been using this mix for a long time to study and now I'm listening to it as I try to power through my first job. It's hard, I feel inadequate and I'm having a pretty bad time but this helps soothe my anxiety a little :) I hope better times will come and that in the future I'll be able to listen to this without a worry in the world 😁
My friend sold me this game, never played a JRPG, and man I never loved something so much this game was a masterpiece. Sadly me and my friend aren't friends anymore but this game brings back great memories I wish I could go back
Playing this game somehow reminds me of my youth back in school! Bunch of good friends gathered together for nothing, or something cool. But the main point is that I have never experienced such good and pure friendship ever since I entered the society. Being an adult is just lonely somehow.. I miss my years at high schools..
16:07 Scared the shit outta me. I had my phone on my left side in the same place where the phone vibration audio was placed and thought I was getting phantom notifications💀

I can easily just fall asleep with them playing in the background. Oh and every day's great at your Junes!
*nanako liked that*
The P4 song actually fits great in this mix (and who can resist peppering in all the hits), but it did make my head snap up and make me go "hey, that's from 4..."
I finished a lot of book while hearing this, thanks!🙌🏼
Really great story, perfectly matches the vibes of the video🥰 hopefully you can meet up with everyone again soon
Listening to these tracks instantly brings me back to happy stress free days when I use to play this game non-stop. Now it's all work and responsibility. Not that life is bad, but playing PS5R was one of the best experiences of my life.
Enjoying coffee with Haru is a dream 🥰
Haru best girl
@@CryCafe every girl best girl
you are single handily helping me get through college, i put this on everytime i have to do an assignment or study. its amazing thank you!!!!
when i last played this game i was lonely, sitting in my room and practically losing my mind from anxiety and depressive thoughts. it calmed me down and gave me a life to live that isn't full of the trauma i have experienced. now i'm doing better than ever with an amazing, gorgeous girlfriend who i want to spend the rest of my days with. i will love this game forever for picking me up when i had no hope left.
glad to hear it worked out. hope you're well
Not the only one though. It is incredible to see how many people persona has helped, it feels as if the phantom thieves were really alive and here helping us. Definetively atlus made a check mate with them, they fr took our hearts
bro be leveling up charm
ive been listening since my freshman year and it only gets better
I would just like to give a big thank you to atlus for making this brilliant soundtrack as it has really helped me getting through finals in collage. I love everything about this game it honestly deserves a Grammy alone because of the soundtrack so thank you so much to the amazing minds at atlus for creating this much love!!
16:08 ... DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIME I WAS LOOKING FOR MY PHONE?! I listen to this video on the daily, you are a monster for adding that in!
Playing Bar Yuu on repeat is a flow y'all need to try at work. It's a vibe
I can not be the only one who comes back to this way too often
the one P4 song around 40 mins in caught me off guard, but i recognised it straight away lmao
It's been like 6 or 7 years since ive played this game, and I still have this soundtrack stuck in my head. It's so good. Beneath the Mask is always the first one that comes to mind.
this brings back memories which makes me feel strangely sad...
This playlist really helps me get through heavy work days. I just imagine I'm an RPG character increasing my stats.
thank whoever made this helps a lot with studying and i love the nostalgic feeling
It's hard, I feel inadequate and I'm having a pretty bad time but this helps soothe my anxiety a little :) I hope better times will come and that in the future I'll be able to listen to this without a worry in the world 😁
Dont worry you got this bro 😎
@@theartorias9585 thank you 😊
My friend sold me this game, never played a JRPG, and man I never loved something so much this game was a masterpiece. Sadly me and my friend aren't friends anymore but this game brings back great memories I wish I could go back
Truly one of my favorite playlists for studying, lost count how many times I've heard it.
This video always feels like a place you can come back to no matter what and reflect on your day and recover from the exhaustion of the world. I love it.
Im a little late but I love to use this to study. Recently did some math homework for summer using this and it was a breeze! I’m glad haha.
It's been over a year since I began playing Persona 5, I wish i could erase my memory and play it over and over, this games soundtrack makes me feel so content with everything
but persona 4 exists so I'm playing that now
im on the edge of buying ps4. I hope they bring it out on the switch. If they do i would buy it instantly for now im holding back on buying it on pc
@@arnovanboxem2519 well theyve just announced theyre releasing shin megami tensei V on the switch so one step towards getting a persona release aha
@@lottie9121 smt has always been on nintendo consoles i believe. Maybe i check it out. But i heard the focus lays more on the fighting instead of the combination as is the case with persona.
playing p5r and getting to know akechi has probably been one of the best decisions i have ever made in my life. this guy made me realize that its okay to be angry at people who abused you and that helped me take several steps forward in therapy. ah man i love this game
Damn, this tripped me up. The sounds were so "real" that i turned around a few times thinking there was sth going on in my room
This is so comfy and relaxing to listen to while studying. Thanks so much!
I remember listening to this during 2021 while studying by myself. I've been struggling to make any progress for a while now, but this has always helped me feel relaxed.
Thank you so much for making this!
Sometimes I get stressed when I study and this really helps me to take a step back, calm down, and refocus
It's been more than a year and I still come back to this video every time I'm in a bad mood or studying and it really helps.

Haven't played persona but this mix is so great for studying!! Made my summer school work bearable. Thank you king
you should play it. it's an awesome game and as you can tell the music is amazing
study more and then u wont be in summer school.
Thank you for making this, having something in the background while I do homework is essential. Persona 5 is one of my favorite games and having it's music keeps me alive while I do stuff I don't want to do. Thank you again.
I've been using this for the past few days while I studied :) I love this mix
this has been a go-to recently for me! i watched a playthrough of persona 5 royal and really enjoyed it, now i get to do my homework with the good vibes :)
The Days When Mother Was There is *chef's kiss*
I love the 360 cafeteria sounds. Makes you feel the night hasn't come yet.
God...the soundtrack of Persona 5 is just perfection.
I don’t know why, but my daughter loves Layer Cake from this soundtrack. She’s been watching me play SMT games since she was an infant, so I’m glad it stuck with her at 11.
Doing another playthrough now. Love this game so much.
Man, this video is so great, it has saved me from many sleepless nights, and no ads!!! It’s the best, thx for making this playlist. I know I’ve definitely listened to it way too many times lol
This has been helpful the past few days with studying, thank you for this!
Also I see you sneaking in that P4 track....nice.....
Update: Listening to this while working on finals, still amazing!
@@MikeTheFerret goodluck, u should try listening to oddling - neon nights. its pretty good on loop, hidden gem as well.
I think this is the only playlist I can actually focus while studying. Thank you, my knowledge is gracefully increasing.
I’m very thankful that I stumbled upon this
currently listening to this while it's actually raining outside where I am, so calming fr
Current using this to help calm my nerves since I have a Presentation Project due tomorrow X(
Plus, as of when I am typing this, I am currently undergoing my FInals Week in College!
Wish me luck X3
Edit: Just finished my exams and final projects XD
What a relief
how did they go
@@johnwiese6760 They went by pretty well X)
@@randyanderson6923 Congrats :3
I'm gonna be perfectly honest
that crinkle sound at 20:32 should not have scared me as bad as it did. I thought a bug was in my headset for a second and spazzed out bad 🤣🤣🤣
I love this! I'm a huuuge fan of Cafe(s) in general, and this one captures the atmosphere of one the most out of all the Cafe Mix that are Persona themed :> (in my opinion)
One of my all time favorite video game soundtracks ever, no, all time favorite soundtracks ever
It's about that time of year to start another persona 5 playthrogh
Glad I found this, been writing a term paper and this is helping create a "state", plus it's Persona 5!
Hot damn that rain SFX is beliavable AF, i listened with open cup headphones and had to look out the window.
The ambient sound are on point with headphones! I hear dishes clattering to my left, but my kitchen IRL is to my right. AND I TURN AND LOOK TO THE LEFT!
