p4g single handedly helped me survive lockdown during summer i love this game so much im already playing it again right now
Same (though I played it in sept). Still trying to beat it and plan on getting a vita soon for a replay.
This game is what got me through my last year of high school during 2020. All the bull with online classes and being stuck at home for long as, was soothed by this game.

Persona 5 got me though the lockdown but this game is amazing another I have played almost everyday.
I’m playing it right now, it’s a great experience. It sucks that I played it now though. I played P5 Royal close enough to release that I remained relatively spoiler free, but I’ve gotten quite a few Persona 4 Golden spoilers. I think I’m nearing the end now, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did :)

what did you think??? which ending did you get too? (like right before the " never ending day" god damn did this game go from a casual play to one of my favorite game/animes of all time with some of my favorite music, p3 is up there as well. if you enjoyed it you should watch the p3 OVAs soo good and i liked some aspects better fr! but 4 is the best overall... lol sorry bout the rant i only have 1 friend who knows about persona and its one of my favorite pieces of media out and has helped me so much i feel like lol :)

I will start persona 3 but idk which one I should play first the psp version or play station version, i thik i will play them both cuz i am not expecting anything except a great experience
@@b7i093 i think ps2 if you are okay with the extra few hours of gameplay (which come on how could you not crave more😂) just because of the epilogue and closure but dude imma just let you know the ending hits SOOO hard like easily evenly (imo) with the nanako incident:,,(( but i feel you i saved this and am gonna come back to all the music whenever i have a bad day. Also 5 is good but i would say do 3 first its quite better imo. And the ovas for it are as well done as any stand alone s tier anime. Have fun hope my input helped:))
EDIT: there is no reason to play psp version unless you can get fes and/ or you just wanna replay on that system! Thought i should put that cause i think you can get the fes on psp maybe? And didnt know if you had a preference towards system, but man seeing it on ps2 plugged in on a big screen is kinda great (i may have to get an emulator to play it soon havent played much but seen ovas and played a lot on ps2)

I get really bad migraines which make be bedridden for hours at a time and also prevent me from sleeping, whenever I get some really bad ones I like to put on the best songs like this so that when I'm fading in and out of consciousness I have happy thoughts about myself or especially my boyfriend. thanks for this

You should play Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal
And Persona 3 Reload too. Even the newest Persona games are surprisingly well optimized and look beautiful.
When my fiance and I were still just friends, we both played through P4G for the first time at the same time. It was so awesome to have someone else experiencing it for the first time to talk to about it and share predictions and whatnot. I definitely think that was one of the things that brought us to where we are now❤

Up for debate, I personally would go eith Silent Hill 2 for the greatest, but all Persona games have great soundtracks.

It's such a shame that some people within the Persona 5 fanbase just give this game a pass. They're missing out on some great Scooby-Doo antics with these characters.
Recently finished 5 with the royal extra as well. Still think the way it hides the true ending like that and the whole uncovering of the mystery is the reason 4s story stands a little above 5

@@Saanail Again for me 4 in the way it creates the synergy for the investigation team is unparalleled. 5 comes close and by that i mean really close. But the fact that palaces have design and personality plus the gameplay make 5 in that aspect better for sure.
Persona 5 is great don’t get me wrong but let’s be honest. 4 is just the best!

Animal crossing is seeing another major update in Nov, Played persona 5 and loved it, haven't finished strikers, played persona 4 golden. Can't wait for SMT 5 on switch

as much as how bop is P5 ost, but P4 ost will remain my favourite for so many reasons. It is always a soothing nostalgia that I wont tired listening, especially Never More and Sign of Love

Started this en past 2021 with Persona 4 for the PS Vita and this 2021 with Persona 5 for the PS3, already have spent 250 hours in both games and I don't regret it.

so I just looked it up Persona 4 came out 4 years before fire emblem awakening but Persona 4 Golden came out two months after fire emblem awakening

I already love the current graphics of P4G but imagine if they ever decide to remake P4G to P5 style and graphics. We can only hope I guess...

the amount of nsotalgia in this is insane, first and last played this game on 2016 and loved it. i still have my ps vita and my p4g cartridge, but i just... don't have as much time as i did 6 years ago, and it'll be very hard to fit in some ps vita time in my schedule sadly
edit: changed around some of my schedule to make room for p4g playtime. i'm happy

It’s interesting even though SMTv is a game with some real funk or rock or whatever none of it hits the vibes we get from Persona 4.
It’s like SMTV purposefully never has a single song that hits this vibe, SMTV doesn’t feel like the other SMT’s that much; in actuality, so it actually feels weird when they play the demi-fiend music, for instance. They even re-mod the Fiend tune so that hits different but when Demi-fiend pops out it’s like you changed the channel to a marathon of this one show.
What’s amazing os all the tracks, all the OSTs, feel like their own thong. I mean that’s what you pay for, the composer is supposed to do his thing and give your game a soul. P4 is a city kid in the country bringing something special, finding something special, and ending up with a real vibe of consumerism and television life you can’t escape, even these dark boss songs will come out more developed and polished like a crack team of super-dank studio musicians were picked to do everything no matter how cracked things got. Everything felt like this producer was running it, Akechi’s perspective on life from watching TV. His psycho killer mind was behind this, every hit of a drum or bang on a bass, he illustrated it and our MC is just living in this horrible illustration attempting to bring sense to it, like any young person growing up and pushing against the curtain of the stage that follows your life. Going behind the scenes, into the TV, he finds, well frankly, he reaches out to the truth.

Man do it. I used to think persona was just anime trash. I was so flipping wrong man. Junk has serious life lessons and excellent music. Also, the second half of persona 4, especially the ending, is much better than the first.
The climax is far better than the beginning/middle. And those were far from bad

4 sounds like a pokemon soundtrack
I guess it's a byproduct of its era, but I wish they mixed the next soundtrack like they did this one. Persona 5's (and all its versions and spin-offs) sound too clean for my taste. The compositions are out-of-this-world great, but I prefer the mixing and texture P4's OST has. Maybe if P6 has older characters a more analog-y mix could be appropriate.
