Syndie tv is such a novel concept, the syndicate has a weekly program showcasing the agents of their employ from the exemplary to the incompetent of their ranks with dope music in the background. All narrated, introduced and hosted by a man with a mid Atlantic accent cryo frozen straight from the twenties
Many of you may not know this, but I’ve been friends SargesC for quite some time now. I just wanted to let you all know that this creator has been on the grind and on the rise. Mad props to you Mr. SargesC, road to 1k here we go.
Well.. SS13 is a bit.. Odd. In the fact that sometimes you will have extremely fun rounds.. But other times its almost as bad as watching paint dry. *EDIT* Example of a boring round.. Keep in mind its been a while on this specific case.. I was playing as the stations AI.. And No one was talking or interacting with me.. NO ONE! I ended up watching this guy eat tons of pizza while he was crying in the showers in the dorm area.. Trying to figure out why hes doing that.. Never found out why as he ignored me when trying to talk to him... He just sort of.. Cried harder...
One time i took over the station as nightmare over the course of an hour and a deathsquad. I befriended a sentient slime who helped me and revived me twice.
The moment I saw you utilizing ordnance as traitor I instantly subscribed i have nothing but respect for you as ordnance and atmos in general is so rare you see in ss13 yt channels.
What's the uplink thing on the 8:40? Seems like some sort of a syndi+ uplink. Is this some old feature or is it just a different branch of TG that I am not aware of?
I think I was the Botanist that he chased after on the infiltrator round on the shuttle. It's long ago and it's when I first started playing, so of course I cannot remember. Botanist had me drained, and perhaps it was lag that had me buckle back to the chair and just die. Now, I am a Roboticist main, just breaking into Toxins and how to refine Anomaly Cores. After 200+ hours, I can say I have a moderate understanding now, but Botany is probably still boring asf. sit there... watching plants grow... what a day wowwwwwww *falls asleep* I don't care if there is death nettles! Super crazy mutations! They take a long time to do and... How do you get genetic traits? There is this experiment requiring a scanning of plants with certain traits but when I was Botanist, I was just familiar with the somatoray, and not grafting or anything.
@@jetstreamsam9680 Quit a few months back; the game wasn't for me because I didn't know how to actually have fun. Grinding away at a goal when the main point is to try to get in those social interactions which affects the course of the match, and your sanity. Remember ghost role into Charlie Station constantly trying to set up SM shard, but there are too many steps and the drop-off over time in efficiency made it impossible, if not useless in the whole scheme of the game to begin with, to finish the task. The final nail in the coffin was when I went overboard as A.I. and allowed the borgs to murderbone. The game was taking up an inordinate amount of time; playing it all day and even all night. Wasn't healthy. Even now, just watching videos, I am up at 2316 CST, when I was doing good at going to sleep around 2000 - 2100. It's so easy to slack off and melt your life away.
funny a month later I just hop into goonstation. still not at full capacity and don't play often. I think that's the way SS13 is supposed to be, a passive experience. play one or two rounds one day and hop off or you'll get angry selfish man syndrome. also the fact /tg/ is like, very limiting of itself with its research system. And no matter how encouraging it tries to be, I guess, you can't help but feel as if you need to lock yourself into one class because there is so much to learn. here, though, there can be unhealthy fixation and no growth. I still didn't know how to efficiently and properly mix gases, and even then, what is the point of allll this effort when I couldn't hope to pack it into a single shift, especially if the place of work is, I don't know, raided or bombed? And the fact, after learning all of it, you'd still have to limit yourself to one gimmick. If it is too overpowered, as well, I am sure people would complain and get it nerfed. again, just me ranting as I am prone to doing. 0131 CST of December 15th, 2023. Signing off.
