I remember there being an old guide to CQC cooking and at the end it basically said "lmao just make the entire station a kitchen so you can CQC all the time everywhere." and you could do that by designating every single room in the Station Manifesto as "kitchen". Good god, old ss13 was fun.

The way the SM crystal completely surrounded the last three guys in a tiny shuttle bathroom before finally crushing them is just so terrifying. The claustrophobia, the hopelessness of surviving a force of nature, and also the loneliness knowing everyone you knew has probably already passed away silently. No glory in it either, just a cold emotionless force abruptly ending the stories of clueless spacemen.
