I was so hyped for this game when they first showcased it. However unfortunately just because of the time waited the original trailer and attention is not going to return the same and people who are not following along nor care about game development or understand it, are going to follow this pattern: - Find out Hytale is releasing/has released. - Watch/Play/Stream the game. - Immediately judge it asking why did it take them so many years to produce what we saw in the trailer. - Focus on every little (or big) flaw/s of the game. - Bore of it, get mad with it and stop Playing/Watching/Streaming. The long wait HAS to pay of hugely with very little bugs and issues to save the game from the sinking period of years they have been developing this. Or it'll be a Cubeworld 2.0.

Would you want a game that is ready when the players want it, but it's unfinished and buggy? *OR* Do you want the game to be feature-complete & polished when it eventually comes out? Because you can't have it both ways.
10 years in development, 6 years since the project was announced. i've been following the development closely the whole time. all i have to say: see you in another 3 years

Hey there’s a new new engine out there that can do this and this. We’re moving the game this new new engine. And Lucy moves the football right as Charlie Brown tries to kick it.
Im starting to think that most of these doom poster comments are made by the same person, its really sus when a person who has been supposedly waiting for the game for years only has a single comment on this channel lmao
Not really, i'm really tired of waiting for the game as well, and i see every blog post since the first trailer and the game just seems to be getting worse, like they devolved, i can't understand why they would change the engine when the game was almost ready to launch, so many years wasted just because the other engine can't be played well on mobile. I don't know just can't feel the same hype and joy i felt when i watched the first trailer, so many mysteries and awe at the gameplay, now it just seems like a minecraft ripoff with a lower budget.
@@tigre2azul the hell you talking about, the new engine is 100% making the game a lot better. it might not look that good yet because they've only spent 3 years on the new engine compared to the 6 years with the old engine. also, hytale costs much more to make than minecraft... (they are probably gonna have 2x more content so imo its worth the wait, maybe play another game in the meantime?)
Honestly, after those many years past I feel like the graphics seem very dated, at least the outside. The leaves have no detail to them and the grass has the same solid green color with zero variation in texture.
"Hytale Just Surprised Everyone" by doing what, the known annual minor update where no real meat is shown? i get that it's the whole channel shtick but maybe it's time to "hype" stuff that's actually happening, it's been six years bud :/ but kudos for this keeping up for so long with nothing but random speculations, i guess.
"There's only so many things you can put in the game in a few months." How long do you think it takes to make a 16x16 texture? "But you've got to have some patience and give the team some credit." Dude, I've waited for over 6 years, and no, I don't give them any credit after going so long in between updates. The reason they do that btw, is because they don't add enough into the game for there to be more blog posts.
bros forgetting like everything else that needs developing... like alr, we're gonna release the game in a month, just that all the assets are 2d, theres gonna be no animations or item functionalities, hf playing
I'm impatient as well, because the game has huge potential. As a software dev myself, I know, that when you develop the game engine itself, there's just not much to show. It's like building a house, it's dirt, steel and concrete for a very long time before it starts to get cozy rapidly at the end. If their calculations work out, Hytale will be a great platform with unparalleled creativity for modders. I get your point, adding fire and fixing movements etc. does not seem like much work. But when the whole engine is being worked on, any task regarding the engine is more important. Now with this blog post, we saw, that rendering works, and basic movement is added. we heard networking works wonderfully. In conclusion, they arrived to the point when they not just build the structure behind but actually start refining and adding quality content, which we will appreciate much-much more to see. I was waiting for such a reveal in the new engine, presentable content will skyrocket from this point. It must. So, if Hytale really is in the state they show and tell it is, we will see much more content from now on. At least that's what I think. We were patient until this time, let's see what they cook in the next months.
What do you mean they don't have door animations and can't put fire into things and "Only had a few months to implement" IT'S GOING TO BE SEVEN YEARS MAN!
They've literally been rebuilding the engine from the ground up to ensure its quality, they've only had a few months to implement stuff like that in the new engine.
@@Autumnityyyy Wait - - there's been a third rebuild? The game that was promised had many amazing things it was going to have. Those lofty goals I know take time. If we're back to we can't put flames on candle sticks that's a massive regression and sounds like development hell.
Ok so you know the big game engines like unity and unreal engine? Imagine if you wanted to make a video game, like Minecraft or hytale, but needed a custom feature set. The approach Minecraft took was hard coding their features into the game in a way that made it so modding needed a huge workaround to mod anything in. Hytale wants to make modding and creation as easy as possible for their community, so they instead took the route of creating their own 'unity' type game engine, then using that to create the game. This means that the actual game, which has been on the back burner for the past few years, is only recently starting real development. This unfortunately means that hytale could take another year to finish, but because they took their custom engine approach, there are a huge benefit creators and players will get when the game launches: insanely quick development time. Minecraft mods like Create or Aeronautics take years to develop because any system they want to implement must be done in a roundabout way that can take days for simple features. With hytales engine, it might take a few hours to implement that same system, and bug testing will be a million times easier. There are also several other huge benefits like ease of access, super versatile mods unlike anything Minecraft has ever seen, one click downloads, and many more. It's a little upsetting we gotta wait for so long, but the wait will definitely be worth it.
I Am Kinda Upset, I Had Signed Up To Be A Beta Tester, Before, They Cancelled It And Remade Everything. I Was Hyped To Be Apart Of That, Also Just To Be Apart Of The Game Even In A Small Way. Especially Since Minecraft And Modding It Had Been So Bad, But After So Long And So Much Silence, I Just Believed They Got In Over Their Heads Or Something Then Did Other Stuff. Sucks AF To Hear They Did A Beta Test, And Now Are Doing More Things, But Yeah Whatever TBH, If They Make It Cool, My Hype For It Was Drained From My After So Long NGL.

@@jem And I've got 3 things: changed engine mid-way, studio size increased massivly & we don't owe them anything (because we haven't given them money)
look, if you don't like that it's taking this long and you're not interested in buying/playing the game when it comes out, that's fine, but don't complain like some mf from Twitter
@@jem Then go away for 3 years instead of leaving the same comment on every video lol (not directed to you specifically, but u get what i mean)
Do you know if the game will be feature-complete and polished? And do you know if the game will be feature-complete and polished *compared to the cumulative expectations of 6+ years in development?*
That's the issue. That's why people are doom-posting. It's a very risky move, because now the launch will be a monumental event that needs to be flawless.
@@Prinzherbert the cumulative expectations are entirely the fans own fault
I have some hopes yes but I'm mostly taking this entirely as it comes
Having mixed feelings. The original assets and art design was fine. The new stuff looks kinda ... Ehh. Idk if the additional wait is worth the new engine. I guess we'll see.
Honestly i was doubtful at first too, but then i noticed that the blur and the fog are missing in the video (you can see they are still present in the project tho in the Skeleton in a cave screenie)
😲- Woah, I don't mind if I watch the video!
Aw yeah here we go!!
so that means its coming anywhere between 2026 and 2036 😍
coming 2025 trust
I’d expect 2026 honestly
FyreUK type timelapse creations when?
I love this channel and I love this game
I don't wanna sound pessimistic but it's taking the piss at this point.
The kitchen floor is not symetric
We will get GTA 6 before Hytale drops 😭
Have you changed your mic recently? Cause it's kinda bad, especially on the more high pitched sounds.
❤
What could this game offer more than java Minecraft with Modpacks ?
I will have an heart attack
Who did they even have test the game?
They are making Hytale's AI so advanced that it can test itself.
@ Kweebec corner said that there was player testers not ai
@@pokepoke1889 its a joke
@@levoderso7469 Kinda sus tbh
They have private teams of testers that they trust and are under NDAs so that they won't leak assets and behind the scenes information.
Hytale?
More like BASEDtale
Hey there’s a new new engine out there that can do this and this. We’re moving the game this new new engine. And Lucy moves the football right as Charlie Brown tries to kick it.
I know it's early and they're working on it but the new engine looks off
Because not everything is done or imported in
What is wrong with the fps though
atp they can keep it
Im starting to think that most of these doom poster comments are made by the same person, its really sus when a person who has been supposedly waiting for the game for years only has a single comment on this channel lmao
TRUEEE, and honestly if the doom posters were really that jaded they would disengage from Hytale related stuff.
This game is not aiming to create a crazy realist graphical showcase
Im sure you can use Texture packs so chill
wtf do u think Minecraft is lol
still work in progress, they're probably gonna make the graphics like we saw in the old engine but even better
This is a voxel game were u seriously expecting photo realism
Howdy
"Hytale Just Surprised Everyone" by doing what, the known annual minor update where no real meat is shown?
i get that it's the whole channel shtick but maybe it's time to "hype" stuff that's actually happening, it's been six years bud :/
but kudos for this keeping up for so long with nothing but random speculations, i guess.
ok what they're not gonna show us everything they're making
"There's only so many things you can put in the game in a few months." How long do you think it takes to make a 16x16 texture?
"But you've got to have some patience and give the team some credit."
Dude, I've waited for over 6 years, and no, I don't give them any credit after going so long in between updates. The reason they do that btw, is because they don't add enough into the game for there to be more blog posts.
They probably work for like 10 minutes a day and then call it good
Bro subscribed just to leave this type of comments over and over 💀
bros forgetting like everything else that needs developing... like alr, we're gonna release the game in a month, just that all the assets are 2d, theres gonna be no animations or item functionalities, hf playing
What do you mean they don't have door animations and can't put fire into things and "Only had a few months to implement"
IT'S GOING TO BE SEVEN YEARS MAN!
This unfortunately means that hytale could take another year to finish, but because they took their custom engine approach, there are a huge benefit creators and players will get when the game launches:
insanely quick development time.
@@Pope_ I take issue with this because it's already been Six going on Seven years of development.
@@NotTheWheelwhy do you take issue with this it’s not like you paid for the game
what a disappointment. Back to playing Vintage Story!
Great update. See you guys in six months to a year!
Dude why did you capitalize every word
Why did u capitalize every word what is wrong with you?
i had a stroke readin this
I legit do not believe you're a real person
Yooooooooo
With this much effort, there is no way Hytale won't be the most revolutionary game of the 40th century
I may be the first comment but I am suprised solely at the fact I can’t-
._.
So I'm unsub not because of you KC but because I believe this game will not come out.
you think they gonna spend 9+ years developing a game they wont release?
@fahrenheitpg3d407 I think they will run out of resources and hype before it's released.
Another pathetic "update".
So were you watching with your eyes and ears closed?
Look like a shit.Old engine visual 10x better.
hey buddy, its still work in progress
You realize it’s not done right?
