🇺🇸 SAN FRANCISCO 4k Walking Tour | Pacific Heights - A walk along Billionaires Road
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 вер 2024
- Welcome to a walk along Pacific Avenue between Van Ness and Presidio Heights, a prominent, exclusive and beautiful street in San Francisco, California. It runs east-west and passes through various neighborhoods, including Pacific Heights, a well-known residential area. Van Ness Avenue, one of the city's major north-south thoroughfares, intersects with Pacific Avenue and this is where we start our walk.
Pacific Heights is an affluent neighborhood known for its Victorian and Edwardian homes, stunning architecture, and scenic views of the San Francisco Bay. The area has a rich history dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries when many of its grand mansions were constructed.
Presidio Heights, located to the west of Pacific Heights, is another upscale residential neighborhood. It is characterized by beautiful homes and proximity to the Presidio, a former military post turned national park.
The history of these neighborhoods is intertwined with the development of San Francisco. The late 19th century saw a period of rapid growth and prosperity following the California Gold Rush. Many wealthy individuals built mansions in Pacific Heights, contributing to the neighborhood's reputation as an exclusive enclave.

What a beautiful place❤ My husband dreams of visiting America, but I don't. It's strange, but your videos are starting to change my mind. Thanks for the tour
I understand. My wife is the same. My 2 cents on the USA is that it has some of the nicest places you will find in the world, and it has some of the most horrible. It is easy to avoid each. YT and other socials seam to overplay some of the bad spots. SF is a good example. Some areas of downtown are hellish but beauty is close by. The streets in this video are 10 min from Tenderloin (bad, bad, bad), and you can see how nice it is. I try and show the nice areas for inspo for other travellers.
@guidebooktraveller You show beauty and it's soooo wonderful❤ It seems to me that you are right about bad places, and we can probably find terrible places everywhere. You know... I think that all bad places are all equally terrible, but beautiful places are worth seeing or at least dreaming of seeing. Thanks again❤
@@LetsgoSomedaySomewhere nicely put.
Thank you for sharing the SF walking tour. Beautiful city.
I remember it was difficult to drive through the streets of San Francisco because of the steep hills.
Can imagine. Prob easier than walking up them tho😂
Beautiful, Thank you for sharing. 😊Greetings from Prague and Happy New Year! ❤
Same to you!
Is great to see this area of San Francisco. The buildings are really beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
A truly lovely part of SF
Beautiful video of the city of SF.Traveled around some years back and walked the Golden Gate Bridge.Thanks.Rog.Pacific Sunset( LA).
Pacific heights is a nice, scenic route to get to the GG Bridge if coming from the city.
I take this same walk several times per week. I live one block over on Jackson Street. Bravo !
Jackson! Must be cool. Think I walked part of Jackson in an earlier video…Fillmore or Japan Town I think it was. Thinking of walking the Broadway section of Pacific Heights when next in SF. Love the area.
Amazing video! 💞 Well done! 💕💖💘💝💖💖💖💖💖 Thank you for sharing 🥰😊
Thank you! Cheers!🙏
Lovely share, the streets are lovely anf the houses seem really expensive.
I have never visited SF but I hope to one day when I manage to visit USA. I`m surprised the streets are not as busy, I`d have through there will be more people around.
Thanks again for letting me see things through your lenses, looking forward to future videos.
I think I shot this on a Saturday morning and honestly only saw maybe three people on the whole of Pacific Ave….not sure why so quiet. Nice though. Some seriously expensive homes in this area. Probably a lot to do with the amazing Bay views.
I have always dreamed of visiting the United States, and San Francisco is at the top of my bucket list. Thank you so much for taking me on a virtual tour of this incredible city-I absolutely loved it! You've gained a new subscriber here!😊
Pleasure. SF is right to make on your list. It’s unique in many ways…not typical of a US city. And quite compact. Most of the good sights and attractions can be seen in a day or so. Hope you get there soon👍
lovely city.
I stan your video. ❤❤❤
SF is great. Thanks for the watch and comment🙏
Hello brother
You almost travel all the famous destinations & countries in the world & make almost 350 videos but you only have 668 subscribers?😢
Why?
You spouse to be have more than 60K subscribers right now.
Good question. 60k would be nice. Guess most of the older videos are shorts and poorly made trial content. Or maybe YT just hates me😁. Trying to prioritise quality now so will see if things improve.
Hello my friend, i really enjoy your citywalkingvideos from all over America. You are doing great work 👍 Thank you for the beautiful sights in so.many different beautiful citys. Many greetings from good old Vienna 🎡 🎩

Good work! What camera did you use to shoot this video?
The trusty DJI Osmo Pocket. Looking to upgrade to the new 3 model for the larger screen so interested to know if it’s good.
Great tour with some gorgeous buildings! Thanks for sharing 🙏😊

Lovely city💛
SF has some really nice areas👍
Amazing , keep it up 👍
Thank you. Wont stop👍
nice video
Thanks
Unless you have a 💩load of money, it’s a bit of an uncomfortable city, not easy to get around on foot 👎once was enough
Have to agree with you there. Some of the hills are beasts….famously so.
A pleasant excursion in San Francisco . I wish you success
Thank you. Happy 2024👍
I live in Santa Barbara Ca.
I visit SF 6-8 times a year…
SF hasn’t been the same since Covid.
It’s really sad 😢
SF seems more like LA nowadays ( in my opinion)
Homelessness
Drug addicts
& the mentally unstable seem to be more prevalent than before !!!
I have been visiting SF over 20 years and would say it has had some level of these issues the whole time, but agree it’s def worse now. Fentanyl is a real problem. That said, still some beautiful areas that make it the most unique city in the USA IMHO. Hope they get on top of these problems.
wait until u go see the other part of San Francisco the tenderloin area that is the best place to visit in San Francisco
Tenderloin is coming up in future vid. Most cities have nice and bad areas. SF has taken it to next level at the moment. Hope they can get on top of it.
@@guidebooktraveller u know damn well San Francisco will never be the same like it was back in the days too many damn drug addicted and homelessness roaming the streets of infested drug addicted city called San Francisco
