  • I often walk around these well restored tractors and sit on the ones I have driven for years and reminisced. Like the days when we were breaking in scrub country with the Old Bluey Super Major on duels pulling 5 aside giant discs. She was a step up from the Major; remember the decompression lever when starting? But the band brakes IMO were better than the temperamental discs on the later model. Yeah yeah, whoa, I better stop there .....
    That little character Ford ute./truck/pickup whatever; I remember a bachelor neighbor on his small farm had one as his only transport; he would comfortably cruise at the same legal speed limit for trucks/lorries in those days: 30 MPH. That Ford ten motor later became a popular engine to power the home made 10-14 ft boats for water skiing. STOP!!!!
